| Posted: 31 Jan 2022 05:08 AM PST Google account - Nokia 5.1 help My grandfather managed to break the screen on his Nokia 5.1, not touch or display but phone still functions. I had set at a gmail on there for him when he got it a few years back. We I got him a new phone & went to set up his new phone, but it seems I've forgotten his google accounts password. The only way it's telling me I can recover is by tapping the notification on his Nokia 5.1, and then selecting the number it asks. Which is something I can't do. No security questions or 2FA via a text.. (silly me for not setting those up) Any ideas on how I can get access to his account? Or even get the display showing on a computer screen perhaps. Posted: 31 Jan 2022 08:58 AM PST I've got a Galaxy S8, and my Dad has a Galaxy A12 For some reason, my search history has been appearing on his chrome app (auto suggest and browsing history). I've been googling Persona 5 (a game) recently and it came up on his phone. To my knowledge, we haven't linked our accounts or anything, nor have we logged in to eachother's accounts on our devices. This app has almost everything I need except it doesn't allow centering images, So I need something similar, With ability to center images. P.S. Muzei app that allows to set wallpapers as a slideshow. App I'm searching should have 4 features: 1) Should allow selecting any amount of images and setting them as a wallpapers, 2) Have option to switch between wallpaper with some kind of gesture, 3) allow images to be centered on home screen, 4) Should be supported by Android 12 and change color theme automatically when wallpaper is changed. | Are there any earbuds with similar Assistant controls as the Pixel wired buds? Posted: 31 Jan 2022 05:27 AM PST I had a pair of the Pixel wired earbuds and absolutely loved the assistant controls. Specifically being able to push-to-talk to assistant and holding volume up to hear notifications. Do any other earbuds have these features? I'm specifically looking for ones that have controls that "hang down", and not wireless buds that have the controls on the earbud themselves. I live in Canada and the most frequent use of these features is on long walks in the winter, and I don't feel like taking my hat off just to summon assistant. Thanks! [link] [comments] |

Unfortunately I didn't do a backup but I've heard that restoring files is easier/more effective after rooting. Could anyone shed some light on whether files are recoverable after rooting? Thanks. The message says: "Developer is thirsty Googling this pop-up gave absolutely zero results, even using different search engines. Does anyone knows where it comes from and if it is harmful? Has there been an update to Maps or WhatsApp that could be causing the issue? So basically changing the camera input to show my screen and not the camera. Is that possible? Or is there a way to change the default lens for the camera input. | Posted: 31 Jan 2022 01:40 AM PST My phone is a Samsung Galaxy J7 Crown, and when I go into settings, device care, storage, then documents, I see files titled "TitleTemplate.xml" "Data.xml" and another one which I can only see part of its name, "don't_delete_anything_in_this" I can only see them when I go through settings, I can't see them when I go into the files app. I don't know what they are, any ideas? While browsing any app or website, the arrows of Upload and Download get disappeared, and at that moment nothing loads. I don't get a "No internet" warning when this happens which means the internet works at that time also but it behaves as I am on the slowest internet connection. Everything works and loads as normal once those arrows reappear. Can anyone help me find out what is causing this and how can I fix it? [link] [comments] |
| Posted: 31 Jan 2022 12:16 AM PST I'm unsure if I'm in the right place to get help with this so if my question is better suited elsewhere, I'd be grateful for a direction. I've had my Galaxy Note 10+ for a year or two now. Never had an issue. But recently I've noticed that anytime I open an app, more specifically game apps, the audio for said app won't play through the phone speakers even though I have my phone chosen as the current media output. However, if I connect ANY alternative audio device, be it earbuds or speakers, the sound from the app plays fine. I can then also switch my media output back to my phone while the alternative audio device is still connected, and the sound will then play through the phone just fine. However, if I disconnect from the audio device while still having my phone as the media output, the sound from the app will cut out again. I'm truly baffled as to what to do in order to alleviate this frustrating issue. I've tried a few things.
If ANYONE has any knowledge about my issue and/or possible how to fix it without factory resetting my phone, I'd greatly appreciate it. All my Google searches have yet to turn up anything that fixes my issue. Thanks in advance! [link] [comments] |

The weirdest part is it is my husband's name and number but his name is wrote out in a format we have NEVER used, with a added picture from my photo gallery that is completely random.
