Posted: 27 Jan 2022 02:54 AM PST My CPU fan is not spinning. Yesterday, everything is working properly then it just stop today. I tried to opening my pc again, it spins for a bit but it just turns off after that. Then when I tried to do it again, it just won't spin anymore. I tried to switch it to a different fan headers, I haven't touch the BIOS, and even replace the whole CPU cooler and nothing happens. I enabled the "error fan" notification in the bios and it keeps showing. Specs: [link] [comments]
Posted: 26 Jan 2022 04:59 PM PST My CPU is AMD Ryzen 5 2600X 3.6 GHz 6-Core and I wanted to upgrade my old GPU (RX 560) to either GTX 1650 4GB Dual Core or AMD RX 6500 XT and I don't know if they are compatible, I didn't build my PC by myself so I don't know much [link] [comments]
Posted: 26 Jan 2022 10:19 AM PST According to the libvirt virtualization api manual pages:
So, as a theoretical exercise, I've created the following file: And then tried the following command: So far so good. Among a coreduo, an athlon and an Opteron_G1 the baseline cpu is something close to a pentiumpro. Makes sense. What if I change the order of cpus? The result should be the same, correct? Unfortunately, the result is not the same. QUESTION [link] [comments]
(NOOB) I cannot enable reagentc: I want it enabled so I have a windows recovery (WINDOWS 10) Posted: 26 Jan 2022 05:21 PM PST Please bare with me because I don't know a lot about this kind of stuff. I have been trying to fix this for over 4 hours and nothing works. Windows 10 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor I cannot enable reagentc with the command reagentc /enablecommand prompt is run as administrator. I installed windows on my new ssd and manually added a partition to boot off of. However, there is no partition for recovery, so if something goes wrong I cannot recover anything. I also got this error at first: REAGENTC.EXE: Unable to update Boot Configuration Data. I've put in so many commands and tried so many different things, I dont think its possible to fix. After trying many things I now get this error: REAGENTC.EXE: Operation failed: 3bc3 REAGENTC.EXE: An error has occurred. Posts I've already looked at: reagentc /enable failing with error code 3bc3, Windows Update failing with error 800F0922 ReAgentc: Unable to update WinRE boot configuration data I replaced my WinRE file in system 32 with a newly downloaded one from an ISO file of windows, still no luck. I'll give some information that may be useful: reagentc /info : Windows RE status: Disabled Windows RE location: Boot Configuration Data (BCD) identifier: 00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000 Recovery image location: Recovery image index: 0 Custom image location: Custom image index: 0 REAGENTC.EXE: Operation Successful. BCDedit /Enum all and BCDedit /V /Enum all : The boot configuration data store could not be opened. The requested system device cannot be found. Any help is greatly appreciated. Headphone splitter cable not working depending on what I have plugged in Posted: 26 Jan 2022 12:57 PM PST I currently own a gaming laptop (Legion 5 15ARH05H) that has one headset port that I use. When I have plugged headsets there in the past, they have worked flawlessly. I recently bought a one male to two female splitter cable that would allow me to use both my microphone and my headphones at the same time. However, it does not work as expected. When I plug the splitter in with just the microphone attached, it works perfectly. When I plug the splitter in with just my headphones attached, they also work just fine. However, if I attempt to plug them both into the splitter at the same time, one of two things happen:
It seems impossible to me that the splitter cable is the issue, but I can't think of anything else that would be causing this? I've googled for the past 3ish hours and can't find anything that matches my problem. [link] [comments]
