Found a hidden gem on this sub from someone, so I guess I'll spread it

    Posted: 30 Jan 2022 02:35 AM PST

It's Sclerosis, it's a mobile port for Amnesia dark descent, and it's an amazing horror game. Just a tip for the game, when the interact option appears, use it only on the left side of the screen not really on the icon if using default controls

[REQUEST] looking for a new battle arena game

    Posted: 30 Jan 2022 05:55 AM PST

Hey guys, essentially what it says on the tin. I'm looking for a new mobile battle arena game.

I have an s21, so specs shouldn't be too much of an issue(within reason). I quite enjoy the gameplay and "build your fighter" style of mech arena, however the rounds feel a bit short and the matchmaking types are limiting (as well as being a plarium game, which I find is synonymous with bare minimum game effort for maximum wallet emptying. Can't really blame them, but doesn't incentivise me sticking around.).

It doesn't need to be a mech game, or even a "build your fighter" type of game (though I like those).

Guess 3 important things would be

    1) multiplayer 2) good progression system, either inside matches or outside matches (or both) 3)decent round lengths (10-15 mins), though longer or shorter can be fine.

    Thanks!

Why isn't a game like Hellfire: The Summoning still available in the play store years after it was stopped even though there were so many players around 7 years ago?

    Posted: 29 Jan 2022 09:59 PM PST

I am still searching for a similar no-nonsense game like that. It had multiplayer gaming, it had single player gaming, it was quick and fun, and had good graphics. Then this bullshit company bought it and closed it. Why isn't there a similar game on google play? Or do help me find one if it is there.

[REQUEST] Is there any game reminiscent of Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery, but without the ridiculous waiting for energy to recharge thingie? Ort any of the other bullshit?

    Posted: 30 Jan 2022 03:38 AM PST

I'm talking about that game the Harry Potter fans see as the infamous money grab, but which if it actually played like a very basic adventure game with slight rpg elements would have been really adorable and charming.

I like that you have to go to classes and such to learn spells, that you can bond with animals, like the Niffler, I like that you're gradually making friends (although I wish you had more control on who you interacted with). I hate the dumb rivalry thing and a bunch of other stuff, but despite all the fans saying this is very shallow, it actually has a lovely sense of adventure.

I don't even mind that it's basic as fuck.

But... I really seriously hate how you can just run out of energy in the middle of an important scene and then you have to wait.

Now just to clarify, I am not necessarily looking for a game about Harry Potter. More like a game where part of the story and fun is about learning magic.

    Stuff I think I want:

    - learning magic as part of the story or gameplay as opposed to magic being just a tool in fighting

    - maybe some whimsy and awe

    - some sort of customization, whether looks, spells, magical items

    - using magic for something other than fighting. Could be light puzzles or freezing a lake to go ice skating. I want to do something other with magic than kill shit.

    - friendship

    THANKS!

[REQUEST] Looking for a 2D mobile platformer game I used to play around 2015

    Posted: 30 Jan 2022 06:56 AM PST

The game could be played on IOS and Android, and I remember that it was on like a train I think? I remember the logo being very similar to the Monster Dash logo but it's definitely not the game. I remember there were like 3 characters, and you could upgrade your guns and the main goal I'm pretty sure is to kill zombies and survive and I think there were vampires as well? I'm also pretty sure there was a plasma rifle in the game if that helps in any way at all. I think it had an art style similar to Jetpack Joyride. I've tried looking through previous installed apps on my phone but I couldn't find anything I think I had a different Google Play account back then or something. It wasn't an endless runner as well there were like levels and whatnot. Anyway this is a list of games that I know are not it:

    Earn to Die

    Mask of Lion

    Call of Mini Infinity

    Bloody Harry

Monster Dash (though i swear the logo was really similar, now that I think about it I'm pretty sure the logo had some blue in it)

    Zombieville USA

    Infectonator

    Peacekeeper

    Zombiedash

    Zombie Diary

    Dead Trigger

(i didnt really know what flair to put sry)

Is there a FPS for Android where you aim by moving the mouse, left click to fire, move with wasd, etc.? The closest is: dragging virtual joysticks on the screen with your cursor! Wireless KB/M is useless on Android! No support in Firefox or Chrome either! I would not expect it day 1, but Android 14?

What happens when a Game Developer meets the decades-old unsolved Math problem?

What happens when a Game Developer meets the decades-old unsolved Math problem?

    Hello everyone,

A few months back, I got to know about the decades-old math problem from quite a popular youtube channel of Numberphile. The problem is called the Graceful Tree Conjecture the video talks about.

Despite being easy as hell to be understood, this problem is still unsolved but probably that's where the beauty of mathematics lies. Well! Anyway, I decide to make this fun problem my idea for my first published mobile game. At last, the appreciation of math lies in everyone. After months-long sleepless nights and painful coding, my game is finally here at Google Playstore.

Hope you will enjoy this game!

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword best controls for mobile ( Dolphin Wii version)

    Posted: 30 Jan 2022 12:15 AM PST

I've used the config profiles from this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EZFE1OPR1-Y Youtuber. Since the control scheme for Skyward Sword is pretty hard to map on anything other than PC.

And it worked. But a while back i screwed up by messing with Skyward Sword's controls thinking it was a different game. And now the controller scheme as mentioned in the Video hasn't worked for me since. Any fixes for this or a good control scheme for Skyward Sword on mobile would help a ton.

[REQUEST] I'm looking for a city building game or something with similar concept, that can last for a long time

    Posted: 29 Jan 2022 11:51 PM PST

Basically a game I can keep in my phone for a few years and slowly, my city will become massive. Would be great if I can sync my progress and play on two devices at once. I don't mind paying but not interested in something that constant paying is a must to progress. You guys have any suggestion?

Any games with a prestige/ascension system?

    Posted: 29 Jan 2022 11:57 AM PST

I'm looking for games with a prestige/ascension/rebirth system, similar to tap titans, kinda idle, that can be played in short bursts of a couple mins or for a longer period. I've tried a bunch but nothing held my interest for long so I came looking for recommendations! Any help would be appreciated

Looking for something that I believe doesn't exist. Prove me wrong please!

    Posted: 29 Jan 2022 10:24 AM PST

Looking for a good turn based rpg with decent graphics, similar to ATOM Rpg but with fantasy settings. I played through atom several times, love it to death but it has kind of lost its charm on me. I find myself min maxing new playthroughs, and that gets old. I really enjoy fantasy stuff like elves, wizards, swords and stuff. Hoping to find something with that setting that plays like atom rpg on android. Not into the big head little body or fancy looking jrpgs with huge swords and angel wings. I want something more raw and real feeling. Something I can immerse myself in. Open world. Something offline preferably. Please tell me that this exists and I've been looking in all the wrong places. Please and thanks in advance.

What's currently the best version of Exagear (Windows emulator)?

    Posted: 29 Jan 2022 07:06 PM PST

I've made one about Dolphin today and thought since i asked about Exagear this week. And been looking around on Reddit and Youtube. I thought it would be interesting to see what's currently the best version of Exagear.

Keep in mind there is a lot of different versions and or mod versions of different ones. So if i leave out one like the sd card version. That's just because there is a lot of different versions.

    Controller support

    Posted: 29 Jan 2022 11:03 AM PST

I'm looking for games that either have native controller support or have controls that can be mapped to a controller seamlessly. I'm pretty much open to anything aside from that.

Is there an MMORPG for Android that lets you script everything in the interface and control your character and chat with your own addons written in LUA (like World of Warcraft does since 1997 on Windows and 2005 for Linux-WINE compatability layer? It is 2022, this is not Android 1.0 or 10, it is A14
