| Should Wifi turn on when Hotspot is turned off? Posted: 07 Dec 2021 09:34 AM PST Howdy, Just want to check if my phone is working correctly or not (Moto G7 Power). I use the hotspot feature now and then. When I turn the hotspot on, it turns off my wifi which is expected. However, when I turn hotspot off, it doesn't turn my wifi back on. Many times I don't notice until sometime later when I'm wondering why I'm downloading slow and my data usage is high. I'm just curious if Android is supposed to turn the wifi back on when you turn hotspot off or not. Can anyone confirm and maybe provide a way to do it if Android doesn't support it on its own? When I told him the day before on insta that the phone is blacklister, he left the message as seen and never replied back. | Is there any 16:9 screen android phone? Posted: 07 Dec 2021 08:58 AM PST hello. So now I have redmi note 8T and dude this thing sucks. So I thought I'd buy a new phone. Ideally with more powerful cpu and more ram. But one more thing that infuriates me is screen size. I have 6.3" screen, but I still can't type without misstyping. Its bad. Like a lot. Why do they make it and why do they make a selling point from it? it's stupid. 480439849:9 screen ratio look at it. Tf? Like 95% of online content is in 16:9 so why so tall screen. So my question was simple. Is there any decent smartphone with not more than 18:9 screen? ideal would be 16:9. I remember my Lenovo K6 k33a48 had (dude its mayn years old and it had freakin' FULLHD) 16:9 screen and it was smooth af. Thinking about it and maybe Ill buy one. Thanks for any reasonable response. (unless you had the connection setup on your device running 11 then upgraded to 12). My company is working on a new VPN solution, but we need a workaround for the meantime. I have looked into the following 3rd party VPN clients and ruled them out due to incompatibilities with our network.

However, i can not seem to move any apps on it to save on internal storage, this is not a case of certain apps just not going on the sd card. I can see the app on the sd card but it still takes up interal storage and I've read that i need to either change the default storage or just quickly format the sd card because it only stores the APK externally. Windows offers me NTFS and exFat. It is on a Samsung Galaxy S9 and a 128GB SanDisk card. [link] [comments] |

He can't even restart it. It's completely bricked. Mine is still usable but the screen constantly goes black and apps close. I don't think it's a coincidence it happened immediately after the update. I have a Galaxy S21 and my husband has a Galaxy xcover pro so they are newer phones and had no issues up until this point. Anyone know what do to? I have a business and we need our phones for work. | No option to restore from Google One backup after phone reset Posted: 07 Dec 2021 07:26 AM PST I got the Android 12 update on my phone yesterday and it didn't go well, so I ran a backup on Google One and wiped my phone. After getting it up and running again I'm finding there's no option in Google One to restore the backup I made, even though it shows it in the app. It was trying to run an initial backup after getting everything setup initially so I ran that and now my phone is listed twice under Device Backup. How do I restore from a Google One backup? There's no option anywhere to do this. I can live without my app setting and call history, but I kinda need my texts back. That was the whole reason I made the backup to begin with. What's even the point of offering a backup and then refusing to let you restore from it? [link] [comments] |

I wasn't able to get my files from the phone to the pc as the usb debogging couldn't get activated (as the screen is both black and broken). Second one got sent in for repairs, and I'm a bit paranoid (they would do a full wipe of course, but... who knows?). How do I make the authentication on that phone invalid? Turns out there's two apps and they've both been updated within the past few weeks. Both can store credit cards for contactless pay. But you can only send money to individuals on one app. While on the other you can store things like concert tickets and your Costco card. | Google play system update keeps reverting and stuck on august 2021 Posted: 07 Dec 2021 06:19 AM PST so I noticed my phone had a google play system update which I went to update it and it restart which is normal. However when the phone restarted it only lasted about 10-15 seconds before restarting again and reverting to the old version. the thing is theirs another update it has to the current one its trying to do is a 600kbps one and the one after is a 32mb one I tried to download it as quickly as I can (only getting 6% done before the phone reverts to the 600kbps one) it will say august 2021 even when it does update. but i did notice it saying November 2021 before it restarted then back to august and stuck at august. is their anyway to fix this? They are all there in the phone book but on the messages app it just shows their number instead of contact name. If I click on the number and open up the contact it shows the name but not when viewing the message. I heard deleting the message app and reinstalling fixes this but I don't know how to uninstall it because it's the default Google message app [link] [comments] |

And keeps asking to use the QR code to pair again. I always click to remember this computer. I use Chrome stable. Not sure what is causing it, when, or how to fix it. Anyone else has this issues?
