This has been going on for a while and I have virus protection on my phone from the lookout app yet for some reason: In the middle of me watching a YouTube video or scrolling through something my phone will just stop picking up on my touch inputs. the phone isn't freezing because I can still see the time change or when I unplug the charger the notification still pops up on the top right ... Yet I can't touch or move anything on it until I turn off the screen and turn it back on. when I turn off my mobile data and my Wi-Fi it doesn't happen and if I turn it back on it won't happen for a while there's always ends up happening later on it's very sporadic yes I have tried cleaning the screen etc. It just happened right now as I was typing this Edit: tried to space things out anyways [link] [comments]  |

For real , even without adding a ytb acc works like premium YouTube , but is free I still wonder , how safe is the site for downloading more apps in a long term ? Like when I'll get a Huawei ? For now it worked , it has all these SHA keys/verification things , I hope they'll all real , so far Kaspersky and Bitdefender said that I'm safe ... There is no more top bar with the clock, no small notifications icons, nor icons like wifi, data, etc. If I swipe down to view the notification menu, I can see the icons in the upper right corner, but the left side only shows the date, not the time. The description was that it was unlocked but then when I use it its still AT&T, still got bunch of AT&T, DirecTV apps, etc... that are unable to be deleted. I've tried contacting them but everytime I do they return with a "sorry we are out of office" message. Unfortunately I can't return or leave a review on it. Please help, thanks [link] [comments]  |

| A32 getting stuck on Custom OS Warning screen Posted: 01 Nov 2021 09:21 PM PDT For context, this is a T-Mobile A32 that belongs to my sister. Last month I did a warranty exchange after her phone powered off and then wouldn't charge or power back on. Last week her new phone (same model) shut off again and when I try to troubleshoot it is stuck on the Custom OS screen. It appears to be charging now, but I'm wondering if this is a model issue or if she might possibly have some kind of app installed causing firmware issues. I can bring up the assistant via "Hey Google" or other normal ways, but it doesn't respond to anything after. Additionally, pressing the microphone button on the search bar will launch assistant, but not use the microphone. My microphone works for just about everything else (calls, keyboard speech to text), just not the Assistant. Additionally, I just got my Pixel 6 and the issue happens on both my old phone (Pixel 3) and the new one. Is there some deep permission setting I'm not enabling? [link] [comments]  |

Posted: 01 Nov 2021 08:46 PM PDT I've tried going through the Motorola website to submit a repair ticket, but it comes up with an error every time I put in my IMEI number so I can't proceed. Thus I can't get a cost estimate on repairing my X4. The battery is done for. The device will not stay on if it is not plugged in. It does not know how charged it is anymore. On top of that, I think the battery is beginning to swell because I'm seeing light coming out of the sides of my phone. I've watched the how-to on how to fix it myself and I am NOT interested. Does anyone have experience with this to tell me how much I might be expecting to pay to send it in to Motorola for repairs/replacement? Otherwise I'm just going to buy the new Moto One 5G Ace. I rebooted it, and when it booted back up, it didn't recognize the SIM card and could not connect to a cell network, and the WIFI was completely inoperative. Has anyone else had this issue? | SIM Card Virus? Bricked two phones? Posted: 01 Nov 2021 07:57 PM PDT Hi all, Having some odd problems with a couple android phones... not sure if anyone else has run into these issues, but figured I'd post here in case anyone has. Oneplus 3 A couple days ago my OP3 got bricked. Not sure how, I was running fully stock software, haven't downloaded any new apps recently, etc. I thought maybe it was from leaving it in the car overnight and possibly draining the battery, but I don't think so. The OS will not boot, the recovery partition will not boot, and even after using XDA unbrick tools I cannot get this phone to boot. Fastboot does work, though sadly I never unlocked the bootloader, so flashing the recovery image is not something I can do (I believe). Samsung Galaxy J3 Prime So while my phone was bricked, I pulled out an old spare phone from the basement. This is a phone that has never been used - it was brand new from a contract deal with my provider a few years ago. Charged it up and inserted my SIM card, and it gave me the new phone screen (select your language) sorta thing. I hadn't even clicked anything yet, but then all of a sudden the phone started to shut down and a blue android screen popped up that just said "Erasing..." Now I was like WTF. After this happened, the phone got stuck in a boot loop (pulsing Samsung logo) and would not start. I tried booting to recovery and erasing all data to do a factory reset, but that did not fix the problem. At this point I'm thinking my SIM card might be the culprit, but I've never heard of a SIM card causing these issues before. I'd appreciate any thoughts people have on this. Thanks for reading! | Accessing a dead-screen rooted device Posted: 01 Nov 2021 03:36 PM PDT Hi, my phone's screen is completely dead as of now, pitch-black and does not seems to respond to touch. The phone seems to be working nonetheless, it charges, notification led is still here, I get my notifs via pushbullet and can use the power button to summon the camera (i know that because how it vibrates when i do it) I'd love to backup it before definetely parting ways with it. My phone is an Aquaris X (codename bardock) from BQ and is rooted with magisk, on Lineage OS 17 iirc and use TWRP as its recovery solution. The bootloader is unloaded. The debugging mode should be enabled but I somewhat cannot get adb to connect with the device, and I still have the pattern password (that I know) to solve before entering my phone and change the settings from "charging only" to "data transfer" in the little pop-up window that shows up when you plug it (i think ?). The only thing I have is an empty folder windows showing up on my computer when I plug it. Mirror-screen solutions like Vysor, scrcpy and monkeyremote were not effective as they're require adb to work. Is there a way to access the drive of the phone with adb, or dumping the entire system and boot it with an emulator or something ? Any help or lead would be appreciated, thanks ! [link] [comments]  |

Do apps run better on Google than Samsung? Is Samsung more glitchy than Google phones? I never had a Samsung. And Google has Great photos and okay or good performance. Also when I turn my wifi off it says I have no signal or internet but I have full 5G. Did a mallard scan of everything (apps and files) nothing is wrong according to it and I can find nothing online.
