Is it safe to install these 3 Drivers from 2016? Posted: 01 Nov 2021 10:51 AM PDT My Notebook specifications Would it be safe to install these 3 Drivers from 2016 found on my Laptop's support page? Also when I Google the Devices, such as "Synaptics Touchpad Driver", there is a more modern Driver from other companies, would it be better to use that instead? For example The reason why I want to install these old Drivers is because my Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Touchpad does not work normally 100% (They do work, which is great but some issues) For example with my Bluetooth In Device Manager, I noticed they been replaced by Generic Microsoft Drivers (Maybe I messed up and uninstalled them at some point), like "Generic Bluetooth Adapter" instead of "Qualcomm Atheros QCA61x4 Bluetooth 4.1" Should I uninstall all the greyed out duplicates devices? I don't want to play around and error my Laptop, advice would be appreciated [link] [comments]
How to figure out what wifi card to get for laptop Posted: 01 Nov 2021 07:30 AM PDT So I have an Intel AC 9560 wifi card on my laptop (Sager NP8356/Clevo PB51EF) that has been faulty for the last week. It would often disappear from Device Manager and display Code 10 or 45 (not working/not connected). Sometimes restarting would work, sometimes not. The bluetooth functionality would also be faulty where if the wifi doesn't work then the bluetooth doesn't work but sometimes the wifi would work and the bluetooth doesn't. I've already done my due diligence on Google and have done the myriad of fixes including updating drivers and clean install of drivers and even reset my Win10. None of those things have permanently fixed it. I just took apart the laptop and pulled out the wifi card and re-inserted it recently in hopes of fixing that but I'm not optimistic. So my real question here is, if I wanted to buy a new wifi card, should I just buy a new 9560 or is it outdated enough that I should upgrade to a newer one? And if I get a newer one, how do I make sure that it's compatible with the laptop? I read things about certain cards being whitelisted in the BIOS and not sure how I'd go about checking compatibility. [link] [comments]

Bluetooth Mouse has trouble re-connecting (immediately) to a specific Laptop Posted: 31 Oct 2021 10:19 PM PDT My Bluetooth Mouse (MX Anywhere 3) has trouble re-connecting immediately to specifically my Notebook (Razer Blade Stealth 12.5" QHD 2016) when I turn the Mouse off and back on while it is connected, it also happens when I press the button on the Mouse to switch to another sync (second and third Bluetooth connections to other devices) When the Mouse is connected it works normally and is stable, after I switch it off (then back on) or press the button (to switch devices) it presents the issue of not re-connecting (even though the Mouse is on) In this situation Bluetooth Settings says "Paired" and in the Action Center Bluetooth says "Not Connected", the battery level is shown in Bluetooth Settings The weird thing is when I move the Mouse physically (Does not move in Windows) Bluetooth Settings says "Connected" and in the Action Center Bluetooth says "MX Anywhere 3", the battery level is shown in Bluetooth Settings If I keep moving the Mouse physically it would alternate between the two states of "Paired/Not Connected" and "Connected/MX Anywhere 3", while it alternates there is a chance it might move for a second when "Connected/MX Anywhere 3" then stops For me to remedy the issue I would have to do any of the following; I have ran the following lines in Command Prompt (Run as Administrator) and no issues were detected; Every-time I run the Bluetooth Troubleshooter, it keeps fixing "Check Bluetooth radio status" I feel like this is a problem that belongs to my Notebook because the MX Anywhere 3 does not present this issue on another Laptop, it performs as expected and in a satisfactory manner then It is a inconvenience not being able to turn off and on my Mouse when I would like to, I am hoping someone can help me troubleshoot this [link] [comments]
Twitter Mobile App - Photos Unsorted Posted: 01 Nov 2021 12:07 AM PDT Hello! So I'm on Android 11, and my Twitter app is a bit difficult to use. When I try uploading photos using the app, the in-app gallery shows the photos I have in an order that isn't by most recent. I'm thinking it may be by filename or by least recent instead. I then need to scroll through 1000+ photos to find the ones I'm looking to upload. Is there a way I can sort the in-app gallery by most recent instead? Thank you! [link] [comments]
LG WebOS Smart TV not connecting to Wi-Fi Posted: 01 Nov 2021 05:47 AM PDT Hi everyone, today I changed my router keeping the same Network Name and Password so I would not have to reconnect every device. The problem is, my LG tv did not automatically connect to the wi-fi and when I try to connect an error pops up saying something like "Can not connect to the network. Unknown issue.". I have tried restarting my TV and my Router, resetting my TV and my router and still no luck. Any suggestion is highly appreciated. [link] [comments] |
