Asus Tuf 15 stuck on automatic repair. Won't boot into safe mode. Posted: 02 Nov 2021 05:53 AM PDT I have an Asus TUF506IV-AS76 laptop. Bought in March. Has amd processor and rtx 2060. Was playing cyberpunk, tabbed out to check something and wifi had disconnected. Ran troubleshooter, it said it needed to reboot. Won't run windows since that moment. Tried going into safe mode, it just reboots and gives me same screen. Tried starting command prompt from advanced options, just reboots to same screen. Opened it, took out the hard drive and it boots to bios fine. Wrapped it in plastic and put it in the freezer for 5 minutes, still won't start windows. What can I do next? [link] [comments] |

Screen goes off randomly throughout the day Posted: 01 Nov 2021 04:36 PM PDT I've been having an issue for the past few months with my PC. The screen likes to go off randomly once or multiple times throughout the day. Sometimes, even multiple times in a row before the computer has even booted properly. Most times when the screen goes off and I restart the PC, I have to re-enable my graphics card driver, though sometimes I don't have to do this. My PC screen is a TV at the moment. I'm not quite sure what is causing this, I want to upgrade my PC to fix these issues but I'm not sure what part I need to buy to even fix this. I've looked all over the internet but I can't seem to find any advice or solutions anywhere. When the screen turns off, everything else is still on, such as the actual PC and audio/my mic. It seems to like to go off mainly when my PC is idle but it has gone off while I'm on video games but not as common as when it's idle. Even if I'm browsing the internet it can randomly go off. When it first started doing this, it would keep going off without disabling the graphics card driver, until eventually it would need re-enabling and then it wouldn't go off for the rest of the day. However, a few weeks later and it's just started going off at random times in the day and the graphics card almost always needs to be re-enabled. Also, when I have to restart the PC and re-enable my graphics card driver, my PC sometimes like to refuse to connect back to the WiFi until I restart the PC again. -My graphics card is a Radeon RX 580 Series. -Motherboard is msi 970 gaming am3+ [link] [comments] |
