- Hi! Can someone help me why did my phone's battery drop ~20% in 7,5 hours while I was sleeping? It's a 1,5yo Redmi Note 8 Pro, but battery issues were never a problem, even some days ago overnight drain was only a few percent (around 6% I believe).

Just flickering black screen. I have no issues with my phone beforehand and just playing to it minimally. It had few drops but I have a armored casing. No cracks but few scratches. Posted: 28 Oct 2021 12:30 PM PDT I upgraded from a Xiaomi Mi A1 which I've used for almost 4 years and loved, made me a huge Xiaomi fan, only changed because battery life was getting pretty bad. Thought I would be okay with MiUI and for the most part I would be but it feels way laggier and nowhere near as smooth as the stock android felt on the Mi A1. Is there any way to speed it up, remove the bloatware, maybe theres a way I can put a custom stock android ROM on it? I'm happy with it, but it seems to be stuck on the October 2020 update (build PI.832). I want to update it for the CPU OC and the connect/disconnect button for BT headphones, but everytime I go to the update page it says I'm up to date. I've also tried this, but as soon as I enter recovery it stops being detected by ADB. Tried both US and Germany region (where I live isn't available), and also reset the device.
