| Mi Vacuum Cleaner Light | Filter Clogging Posted: 31 Oct 2021 01:08 AM PDT I recently purchased the Mi Vacuum Cleaner Light. I've never really owned a vacuum cleaner before and this is my first one. I'm facing this odd issue that the filters, the cotton filter specifically, get clogged up really quickly even when the dust container isn't even 1/4th full. This causes the airflow to be restricted and more load on the motor which eventually leads to little suction. On top of that, the vacuum cleaner, realizing this additional load on the motor, turns itself off after a minute or two of me trying to vacuum something with the filter clogged (most likely to avoid over-heating). The only way to get it working properly again is to wash and rinse the filters to get all the dirt out and then wait for them to dry. That, as you can imagine, isn't very practical given how often I have to do it. It just seems very odd to me that the vacuum filters clog up way before the dust container reaches its capacity. Is this an issue with my unit, this model, or all vacuum cleaners? Please advise. [link] [comments]  | ||

I turned of automatic downloads and installation, but I still got this annoying update about having the latest version available. I decided to google it and I found this solution: settings - privacy - authorization and revoke - turn it off for updater I did exactly this and I wonder if it was correct. Posted: 30 Oct 2021 02:46 PM PDT Idk if it's just my phone, but after a few days without turning it off or restarting, the animations become slightly stuttery, and videos on YouTube start stuttering aswell, but a restart fixes it(YouTube still kinda stutters tho). Anyone know why? Also another thing about the YouTube stuttering, if I use the Mi Video app to play a YouTube video, it runs perfectly with no stutters at 60fps. [link] [comments]  | ||
| Mi 10T Pro owners - I need your help Posted: 31 Oct 2021 12:15 AM PDT TLDR - dropped phone, all intact but small rattle felt/heard, coming from the upper side, when shaking device. Last night I dropped my 10T Pro from apx a 2 meter height. I usually place the phone on sort of a shelf with rail, listening to podcasts while showering. Due to a high amount of messages, I guess the phone vibrated it's way between the rails space and landed, as far as I can tell, flat on its screen. The phone has the standard silicone case and screen protector that comes with out of the box and surprisingly, it's all intact. I checked most of its functions and I can't find any faults. There's one thing that bugs me though but I have a feeling that it has always been there: when I shake the phone, there a small rattle coming from the upper part of it. Now either it's my imagination or I actually remember noticing this a while ago but I am not sure. Could someone who owns this model give it a gentle shake and tell me if they experience the same thing? [link] [comments]  | ||

When somebody calls my phone, whether thru messenger or sim, my phone keeps on ringing but doesn't immediately show the window/screen that displays the caller's name and option to answer it or reject the call. Now normally it only clears 300-400 mb but i got surprised when it says that it clears 4361mb of ram. My device is only 6gb and if im right its 6000mb so how does my software be able to clear 4361mb of it especially that im playing a high demanding game like genshin impact. There are some times when I want to listen to a song just one single time, no repeat, no moving to another song, nothing, just that one song and that's it. My previous phones all had the option of repeating the same song over and over, repeating a playlist, randomize music or play it all straight. When I had the last option selected and searched for a specific song in the app's search bar and played it, then it would stop once the song was finished. That's what I want to do with this phone as well but I can't find any way to do so. Is there any way to play a song just one time or does Xiaomi really lacks such a basic thing for a music app? I went to Malta earlier this year and now I'm in Poland and both times, no signal, no texts, no data, nothing. I've tried changing all the settings possible, yes, roaming is enabled, etc. I'm from the UK and am with the mobile network Three. Posted: 30 Oct 2021 02:42 PM PDT Hi, I have a Xiaomi 4s tv, it's fine with a custom picture mode, not great, but when it plays hdr content in amazon prime it turns on the hdr picture mode which is _awful_. It looks bad, it has forced smoothing, I looked around all menus, tons of posts and everything and was unable to find anything. Even enabled the factory menu and checked everything there, just can't find anything. Is there a way to completely disable hdr in this tv? I don't want any apps to trigger it. Please let me disable hdr completely in this tv, it's pretty great for the price without it. The picture smoothing is for old people and makes me sick. [link] [comments]  |
