    Do you change animation scale in developer options on your Samsung phone?

    I have A71 and find the default animation speed way to slow and clogging, like I'm wasting time looking at animations. Especially when opening recent apps or pop-up menus. So I always change all animation scales to 0.5x How about you?

    I've been able to get at least a full 2 days out of the Watch4 Classic before recharging it.

    Even at 21%, it was still showing under 12 hours before depletion. My settings were:

    • High Accuracy location turned on
    • Bluetooth/Wifi/NFC On
    • Brightness at low
    • Heart Rate checked every 10 min while still
    • Auto-detect workouts
    • Sleep monitoring each night

    Samsung customer support promised me $100, now won't honor even though it's in wiring

    My Watch 4 order was delayed (still not here, looking at you FedEx!) and Samsung offered me $100 to not cancel it. I agreed to the $100 refund and got the offer in writing. Samsung has now discounted my order by 10% and told me the "bad news" when I called and via email that they won't honor the original $100 offer.

    Absolutely horrific service from Samsung! What can I do?

    Why?.... Because I have NEVER been so bombarded by advertisement with any device, besides Samsung.

    I am selling this POS and going back to pixel, where I wont be harassed just to browse my e-mail or read the news

    Base Model Z Fold 3 Order Delayed

    I ordered almost a week ago and was set with a delivery date of September 8. Just got an update it was pushed all the way the 28th. While I understand they are selling more devices than expected, it's no excuse for the website and order page to show one thing to have it randomly update to with a delayed delivery of three weeks.

    The Galaxy Watch4 seem to be an utter disappointment thus far

    I've had this watch 3 days, and I gotta say - nothing has impressed me thus far.

    • The LTE is unusable for many (most?). The watch immediately "overheats" and locks you out of all interaction. Samsung suggests getting a replacement, but I've seen no reports of it working for anyone. The Watch3 LTE worked flawlessly. How did they miss this one? It seems like they didn't bother to test it...

    EDIT: several folks have mentioned LTE working without problem, so it is not all of them. I will contact support and see if we can figure anything out.

    • The watch overheats easily. The Watch3 didn't have this problem.

    EDIT: several comments mention no heat issues, again maybe there was a bad batch?

    • The blood pressure functionality is disabled in the US, with no estimate of enabling. Again... Watch3 has it... Any number of cheap fitness trackers have it. The app has been patched to enable it, but then you lose Health Sync. Who cares what the FDA thinks - just say it is for entertainment. Or get the approval prior to launch...

    • The advertised "continuous" SpO2 only works during sleep; not all-day (Huawei has this one nailed in the Band 6).

    • The battery life even with minimal use is pretty abysmal. Why does it use so much power while doing nothing? My Huawei Band 6 gets over a week with all-day everything.

    • There doesn't seem to be any streaming music apps that actually play music on the watch. Spotify is just a remote control, Apple Music doesn't exist and I've heard bad things about YouTube music. Again... Kind of a glaring omission considering Spotify worked on the Watch3, Apple and Garmin.

    EDIT: I still can't get Spotify to play on watch-local Bluetooth audio, but at least two others seem to have - will research further.

    • The watch faces all look the same and aren't very useful. Full date? Simple numeric metrics? AM/PM indicators?

    • The included watch band is too small, and they offer no alternatives on their website. I have the largest watch.

    • No YouTube app.

    I thought the whole "Wear OS" was supposed to increase the app landscape over Tizen... But it feels like a new watch on an abandoned, sluggish, buggy, inferior resource hog platform. I've yet to see any benefit of this watch over the Watch3 and am seriously within inches up switching to Apple, or maybe Garmin.

    I'm sure things will improve, but how long have they been working on this thing? Shouldn't we expect to be able to IDK use it as more than a fitness tracker on day one?
