I plug in external hard drive in USB

It's not appearing in file explorer, on properties it says unavailable. I'm sure the USB slot is fine, problem is the external hard drive

Basically I have a few touch screen monitors and I've decided to hook 2 of them up to my computer. They all run on USB-C but the cables they came with just aren't long enough to hook them up to the computer without putting strain on the parts and causing an issue that would eventually cause either the computer or the screens to tip over at some point.

So I'm looking for a cable that is at least 6ft and supports charging, video, audio and whatever else the cables do. I need 3 USB-A to USB-C cables and maybe 2 USB-C to USB-C cables. I was doing some reading and found some thunderbolt cables but they are a bit pricey and I don't know that I need 40gbs data transfer in all honesty. I'm just having a tough time finding cables that do video and charging mainly.

Getting display drivers to work

So I have about a 9 year old HP laptop, model DV7 6B01TX (it still runs well enough for what I need it for which is why I'm putting in the effort to get it to work haha). It originally ran win7, then I upgraded to win10 with zero issues. Several months ago I had some issues and reinstalled win10. I had difficulties getting the graphics drivers to play nice after the install. I have Intel HD 3000/AMD HD 6700M switchable graphics.

When I did the install I got the latest drivers from the HP site for my model. I installed them, then after awhile the computer would crash and I'd have to uninstall the drivers with DDU. With some help from reddit I worked out it was windows update updating the AMD driver and causing the issue. I stopped windows from applying that update and it's been fine since.

This leaves me with the issue where the Intel graphics are fine but there's no driver for the AMD graphics. It just shows as Microsoft basic display adapter in device manager. There's a game that used to be able to run on the laptop but not anymore so I'm guessing the AMD part of the graphics not having it's driver is behind that. I have no idea how to get it running again so any ideas would be amazing

Dell Precision 5750 (Laptop) on Windows 10 not recognizing graphics card (NVIDIA Quadro RTX 3000)

As the title says, my laptop isn't recognizing the graphics card that comes with pre-installed with it. This card was working two days ago, but out of nowhere it stopped. I only noticed when my games were running far worse and when I right-click on my desktop to use the NVIDIA Control Panel, the option is gone. It also doesn't show up in Device Manager, and downloading the NVIDIA drivers from Dell's website for this laptop model gives me an error, saying that it couldn't find the hardware. The same also occurs when trying drivers from NVIDIA's site.

Things I've tried: SFC and DISM haven't resulted in any changes, stating that nothing was out of the ordinary. I've also re-installed Windows (from a separate external drive) and updated the drivers as well as anything available through Windows Update to see if anything changes, but nothing. I can provide more information if needed.
