This weekly Sunday thread is for you to let off some steam and speak out about whatever complaint you might have about:

Your device.
Your carrier.
Your device's manufacturer.
An app
Any other company

Rules

1) Please do not target any individuals or try to name/shame any individual. If you hate Google/Samsung/HTC etc. for one thing that is fine, but do not be rude to an individual app developer.

2) If you have a suggestion to solve another user's issue, please leave a comment but be sure it's constructive! We do not want any flame-wars.

3) Be respectful of other's opinions. Even if you feel that somebody is "wrong" you don't have to go out of your way to prove them wrong. Disagree politely, and move on.

My thoughts on the Protect battery life option

Many people think that the option is dumb cause you are sacrificing 15% of the battery while thats about the game it deteriorates in 2 years. In my opinion I agree buuuut here is the fix. As we know, what deteriorates battery the most is when we leave it charging all night. So the best we could do is turn on that option when we go to sleep and turn it off when we woke up. That way if we charge it during the day at the office, car, or classes we charge it to 100% an use all the battery in the phone. At the same time protecting the battery at the night charge.

WHAT SAMSUNG SHOULD DO

Set a time zone for that option that way it can turn on automatically from "9pm to 8am" for example. Even better we can set it to turn off at 6 am that way if we wake up at 7. We wake up with full battery and at the same time the deterioration on is still way less
