    Hello! I did a voting poll yesterday on heating (will oneplus fix oneplus 9 heating problems) and got some interesting comments about how its normal, one dude even said that 60 degrees Celsius is normal.

    So here i did a test between OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 8T in terms of throttling on same conditions, same ambient temperatures, both phones set to 100% brightness.

    [HELP] Camera privacy notification every 3 seconds when Snapchat is open.

    So I use Snapchat quite a lot, and this problem appeared a couple of days ago.

    Whenever I'm using Snapchat I get a notification every three seconds that Snapchat is using my camera. My phone vibrates even when on silent mode. It is really annoying, and I can't seem to find any solution to this.

    Anyone know what I can do to fix this?

    Hi I have a onepluse 8 model IN2015, FCC ID: 12739A-EE103 and I have lost dual sim functionality that previously was working. BTW I bought it on amazon and was working fine with 2 sims?

    I had android 11 but wanted to go back to android 10, so I download an image from xda:

    (10.5.12: OnePlus8Oxygen_15.O.21_GLO_021_2008080054)

    and flash it, this only made my phone to change model from IN2015 to IN2017 and the sim tray wouldnt work at all.

    I panicked and download and flashed an image for android 11:
    11.0.7.7: OnePlus8Oxygen_15.O.37_GLO_0370_2106020025

    It almost worked flawlessly but the second slot for the sim doesnt work at all.

    Before trying to downgrade I haved my phone working fine with 2 sims.

    Does anyone knows how can I fix it?

    I'm so glad I didn't listen to people insisting me to buy the Oneplus 7T or the OnePlus 7 Pro. I spent the extra money to buy a OnePlus 8 and now OnePlus 8 and newer gets 4 years of security updates. While Oppo merger was seemingly perceived as negative, if OnePlus manages to support their devices for longer, I'm all in it. Since Oneplus devices are quite long lasting, I'm planning to use this device till 2024.

    My OnePlus 7 Pro Widevine certification has been downgraded from L1 to L3

    For the past few days I started noticing that the content on Netflix wasn't being played in HD despite having a premium subscription so I checked the playback specifications and it showed the max playback resolution as SD and widevine L3... I didn't know what widevine certification was so I looked into it and had found out that it had bee downgraded from L1 to L3.. I tried customer support but they have asked me to make to a service center but where I'm from there's only one service center in my state and its quite far away..so can anyone tell me if there's a permanent fix to this problem?..ik other op7 Pro users have been facing the same issue

    How to set a ringtone for a group?

    Local upgrade not detecting the Open Beta 5 file that I downloaded from Oxygen Updater app

    Do I have to install the latest stable version before going to OOS 11 Open Beta 5? System update in settings says I have the latest stable version but Oxygen Updater says there is a newer stable release available. I want to go to the Open beta 5 but as you can see I have it downloaded and Its in the root directory but local upgrade is still Not detecting it. I also chose incremental update. Should I download the stable release from Oxygen Updater first and then try to go to Open Beta 5?

    One Plus 5t Battery doesn't fit

    I wanted to change the Battery in my 5t. I bought an original Battery from a german Website( I live in austria thats why), and opening up wasn't a problem. I did everything according to an online intsruction and had no problem. The big problem came when i tried closing the phone again. The new battery was slightly thicker and i couldn't close it. After a few tries of closing it i gave up, put the old battery back in and everything is working fine.

    Did anyone experience something similar? and if yes waht was your solution?

    All My Home Screen Firefox Links Just Disappeared. WTF?

    Like it says, sometime in the last 2 days all the Firefox Links I had added to my home screen on my OP7 just disappeared and I can't readd them. I click the "add to homescreen" and everything acts normal, but they aren't there.

    Any ideas?

    OnePlus 8 Screen Protector recommendation

    I got my 8 recently at a great discount and bought a tempered glass screen protector at the same time. But it adheres only to the circle where the fingerprint sensor is located. This makes that circle stand out very visibly and means the rest of the screen is a bit washed out.

    I actually do not use the fingerprint sensor and don't care if it functions well with the case. Any recommendation for a protector that adheres cleanly across the full display?

    There are a ton of options on Amazon, but my complaint seems common. I searched this sub, and didn't see many great choices. What's the best option?

    Why the fuck did my screenshot app change?

    OnePlus 6T, didn't notice a system update or change anything, suddenly tapping the screenshot preview doesn't go straight into crop.

    This is a violation of the Geneva Convention's laws on posting uncropped screenshots on the internet.

    NORD LOW BRIGHTNESS ISSUE

    Will OnePlus fix OP9 heating problems?

    So i have 8T and op9, noticed that op9 is heating quite badly, it throttled down to 60% of its performance while 8T did 78% (bigger number=better) I have them both and heating is a deal breaker for me + bad battery life (sot)

    Vote with your guess as i really like how the device feels in the hand + wireless charging, but 8t seems to be a better device in terms of battery life and thermals.
