Macbook Pro keyboard connector problem Posted: 13 Jul 2021 07:16 AM PDT Hello, I have a Macbook Pro from 2009 that crashes when the keyboard ribbon is connected to the board. When disconnected the computer starts just fine.... anyone know what problem it could be? Have tried another board in the shell and it works, so the keyboard and ribbon is okey. What on the board could be doing this? The connector it self or something else? Thanks in advance! [link] [comments] |
Tool recommendation: two users one computer Posted: 12 Jul 2021 09:53 PM PDT Anyone know of a free or paid solution for something like this? I have a windows computer at home and I want to enable two people/users to simultaneously do a remote desktop connection to it. Is there any solutions out there apart from me getting a windows server edition or teamviewer? I don't mind paying but teamviewer is kinda pricy expensive at ~1300ish per year so I wonder if there's a cheaper but still robust alternative. I found something called anydesk but from my search it didn't seem to be able to support what I described. It can apparently do like one user doing multiple remote connections, but not the reverse like many users to one computer. pls help :c [link] [comments] |
Posted: 12 Jul 2021 11:04 PM PDT I tried to replace the battery for my Omen 15 ax033dx. However it won't boot at all with the new battery. I tried two batteries from two different brands (one with HP logo on it) and it still won't boot. Interestingly when I put the OLD battery back, it DOES boot. By the way it won't boot if I remove the battery and just plug in with power supply. Power supply is fine because it charges both the old and new batteries. Again, it'll only boot if it's plugged in and with the old battery. Any help will be appreciated. [link] [comments] |
Legion T5 26AMR5 shuts down without warning multiple times a day Posted: 12 Jul 2021 07:44 PM PDT Just bought a Legion T5 26AMR5 and randomly it will shut down without warning, the only adjustment made is that we took a laptop HDD and added to the drive bay. Leading up to the shut down the event viewer shows event ID 6008, unexpected shutdown. Which only time stamps after I recover from the shutdown. Leading up to it there is no issue. It could possibly be CPU temperature issue but the computer can run for hours without shutting off and will boot up just fine from a crash. Afterwards when looking at the event viewer after it recovers a critical error ID 41 but the event data is listed with only zeros. The only other possibility might be a faulty power supply?
