Posted: 16 Jul 2021 11:20 AM PDT I am fine paying for it, as long as you don't need IAPs. I am just sick of the never ending grind kind of games. Like rpg or tactic type games, especially turn based. Not great at the fast paced controls. Sorry if this isn't allowed, I saw a post like this from 5 years ago and was hoping for some updated suggestions. [link] [comments]

3 Quick Tl;Dr Android Game Reviews / Recommendations (Episode 182) Posted: 16 Jul 2021 04:05 AM PDT Happy Friday, and welcome to the latest episode of my weekly mobile gaming recommendations based on the most interesting games I played last week. I hope you'll enjoy it :) Support these posts (and my content on YouTube + development of MiniReview) on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/NimbleThor <3 This episode includes one of the best text-based MMORPGs I've ever played, a fantastic cross-platform sandbox racing game full of ramps and mini-events, and a deck-building adventure RPG with both singleplayer and multiplayer. New to these posts? Check out the first one from 182 weeks ago here. The games are "ranked" somewhat subjectively from best to worst, so take the ranking for what it is. Let's get to the games:CyberCode Online [Game Size: 58 MB] (free)Genre: MMORPG / Text-based / Indie - Requires Online Access Orientation: Portrait Required Attention: Some tl;dr review: CyberCode Online is a fun sci-fi-themed text-based MMORPG with co-op roguelike dungeons, an awesome community, cross-platform play across browsers and mobile, and no pay-to-win whatsoever. The core gameplay loop has us enter turn-based fights against monsters to acquire resources and loot used to craft new weapons and equipment, which we can use for ourselves or sell to other players. Interestingly, leveling up doesn't improve our player stats, but it does allow us to increase our crafting level, which lets us craft higher-level equipment with better stats. Apart from simply killing monsters, we can also enter difficult co-op dungeons to earn the keys required to unlock higher-level areas. Before ending our play-sessions, we can even launch various idle activities that typically last for 15 minutes to 2 hours. Since these activities aren't the most efficient way to gather XP and resources, the focus is still on active play – but the nicely balanced mix creates a great gameplay experience. The global chat and guild systems help create a nice sense of community, and interacting with other players is the best way to learn about the many intricate game systems. The cyberpunk art-style is incredibly well executed and everything from the menus to the UI provides the most polished text-based gameplay experience I've ever had. CyberCode Online monetizes through iAPs for temporary boosts that affect all online players – not just the buyer, and subscriptions that provide vanity cosmetic items, such as a title and chat frame. This brilliant setup means there's no pay-to-win and everyone benefits when someone buys an iAP. It's one of the best and most engaging text-based MMORPGs I've played to date, and it's an easy recommendation for any RPG fan who loves interacting with other players. Google Play: Here MiniReview link: Here Crash Drive 3 [Total Game Size: 537 MB] (free)Genre: Racing / Sandbox / Cross-platform - Offline + Online Orientation: Landscape Required Attention: Full tl;dr review: Crash Drive 3 is a fun arcade stunt racing game with PC, Console, and Mobile cross-platform multiplayer, a huge open world, and even an offline mode that turns the game into a single-player experience. The game has us freely race around a sandbox world full of ramps and loops that lets us do crazy stunts with our vehicle while looking for secret hidden objects. Every few minutes, a new random event starts where we compete against all other players on the server in traditional races or wacky games such as cops and robbers, king of the hill, and much more - all directly in the open world. For every completed event, we earn cash that can be spent on buying new over-the-top vehicles or upgrading our existing ones in the garage. Even with the beginner car, however, the gameplay is already fast-paced and hilariously hectic. But since we can control our vehicle in-air, it always feels like we're in control, and we can even aim to achieve perfect landings to score more points. Crash Drive 3 monetizes through ads shown after participating in events, which can be removed by buying the full game through a $9.99 iAP that also unlocks all customization options and all 50+ vehicles. This is a great system that provides a premium experience for paying players while still allowing free players to participate in the fun gameplay or play offline to avoid the ads. This is a must-try for anyone looking for a fun and not-too-serious stunt racing experience that can be enjoyed alone or with friends. Google Play: Here MiniReview link: Here Traitors Empire Card RPG [Game Size: 464 MB] (free)Genre: Deck-building / Adventure / RPG - Requires Online Access Orientation: Landscape Required Attention: Full tl;dr review: Traitors Empire is a unique strategy RPG indie game with card-based combat and deckbuilding elements, a large story-driven campaign, AI multiplayer, and guild raids. Throughout the level-based single-player campaign, we unlock both heroes and lots of hero skill cards that we use to strategically build a powerful combat deck. During the turn-based combat, we move around a grid-based playing field, and while our heroes can do normal attacks on their own, cards can be played from our hand to change their attacks or add bonuses. After a battle, we receive gold, hero XP, and new cards, and when our heroes level up, their base HP and attack stats increase. Between the single-player campaigns, we can customize our deck, equip new armor pieces for our heroes, join guild raids, chat with other players, or participate in multiplayer where the other player's heroes are controlled by an AI. For an indie game, Traitors Empire features a lot of interesting game systems and a campaign with over 50 hours of gameplay, according to the developer. Although the art-style is simple, our heroes often make witty remarks and comments during combat, which makes the world feel somewhat dynamic and gives the characters an extra spark. Traitors Empire monetizes by selling card packs and new heroes for iAPs, which allows paying players to grow their decks faster. Fortunately, card packs can also be acquired for gold and the war tokens earned through multiplayer. The only downside is that we're limited to four multiplayer matches per day. Fans of the genre are likely to enjoy Traitors Empire for its atypical adventure RPG deckbuilding mechanics and interesting combat system that creates a unique experience with a difficulty that is nicely balanced. A good emulator for Android games and safe for APKs? Posted: 16 Jul 2021 09:24 AM PDT I want to play some sadly delisted Android titles. (Such as Brothers in Arms Global Front, Silent Ops and 9mm) but am not exactly excited at the idea of potentially using a virus infected APK on my Android. Is Bluestacks a good option for this? if I run a virus infected APK on PC with Bluestacks, will it infect my PC? will it be better than if I put an APK virus on my actual phone? Games similar to 'Guardian Tales' or 'Epic conquest 2' Posted: 16 Jul 2021 01:21 PM PDT Hello, i hope you can recommend me some games mentioned in the title. I tried epic conquest 1, but didn't really like it. I love the story telling and gameplay in both games. I don't mind if it is grindy, but i rather have a free game. Thanks in advance. Any good merge games without timers or gems? Posted: 16 Jul 2021 09:48 AM PDT I keep seeing ads for various 'merge army' type games, but they are all freemium. Timers and gems (even generous ones) mess with my head (I catch myself staying up that extra 40 minutes, etc) and I have banned them from my tablet. Any suggestions? I don't mind paying up front for my sanity. [link] [comments]

Looking for a choice based game that doesn't require you to buy gems. Posted: 16 Jul 2021 12:53 AM PDT Gems, diamonds, tickets, etc. I'm willing to pay an upfront price but paying for every other decision is just greedy. [link] [comments]

Looking for a device to play an android game 24/7 Posted: 16 Jul 2021 05:48 PM PDT Hello guys I'm wondering if there's any device that can handle most latest native android games 24/7? I tried pc emulator but it was a poor experience (emulator works fine but some apps keeps crashing), I also tried installing an android os on old pc but it was hard to make it work. I even tried removing the battery of an old android phone to hook it directly on a power source but I broke the phone unfortunately. So I'm hoping you guys can recommend a device that can do 24/7 gaming, I was looking at nvidia shield but im not sure if it can or sideload native android games. Btw im planning to play games like "moonlight sculptor" and "pubg mobile". Any advice is appreciated, thx in advance! [link] [comments]
Need help in turning my old screen-less phone to a Emulator / Android TV Posted: 16 Jul 2021 06:50 AM PDT Hi :), I have an old Huawei Mate 20 Pro with no screen (LCD was broken) and I really want to turn it into a Android TV / (mostly) Emulator. Currently I have it docked through HDMI, using a mouse, keyboard and controller to my TV. I have a few problems. - Firstly, The resolution is set to 4k on my phone and my TV can support 4k 30fps only, so I'm looking for a way to change my resolution to something lower for higher frame rates since I want to output smooth emulation. I have seen operating systems that allows changing the resolution and aspect ratio (also want to change it to 16:9) so I am open to hearing ways to flash a new OS (somehow, with no screen on my device) - Secondly, I don't know how to flash an operating system when I quite literally don't have a screen. I would also want to know how much performance loss/gain I would get from switching operating systems and also what operating system you guys recommend for a powerful Android TV / Gaming Console (mostly) I apologise for my messy writing, thanks to everyone who helps in advance!! Looking for a game to play with friends. Posted: 16 Jul 2021 08:33 AM PDT Looking for a game for when you're chilling with people and have nothing better to do. Either something of the sort of "94%" where you can brainstorm stuff together. Or something like "Heads up"/"who am I" which is meant to be played with other people. [link] [comments]

Posted: 16 Jul 2021 09:01 AM PDT You know those stupid ads where the character gets thrown to the bottom and has to climb/fight through a tower? The character starts with a number like 1and you gotta match him with enemies that have a number equal or lower than yours. Once you beat an enemy, your number increases. I've been seeing lots of ads for games that are actually completely unrelated to what the game is really like. This got me thinking, are there actually any real games like this? Thanks.
