Android Gaming I was tired of all those FAKE ads on Facebook. So, I made the game myself. Took me 1.5 years but, focused only on good gameplay. I am calling it The Actual Game Rescue. Android and iOS launched. Links in comments.

Playstore should have a don't show again option for every app. Since we already tried it, we don't want it shoved at our face every time we open playstore, we want to try new apps.

Marvel Future Revolution - first impression is it's shallow and boring

    Posted: 30 Jun 2021 05:56 AM PDT

This game is all quick time events and very boring battles. You can't move your character while shooting or doing any moves. In fact, there is no reason to move at all. After the first battle I just kept spamming attacks. My heroes in each battle won without me even looking. I just pressed any icon available and the game did the rest.

All eye candy and so substance. I think the download was about 5gb which isn't that bad to me but may be for others.

I may open the app again if really bored. Maybe I'll just delete it. Not sure yet.

Claw Stars - New game just launched yesterday!

    Posted: 01 Jul 2021 12:44 AM PDT

Just wanted to share a cute little game that just launched yesterday called Claw Stars!

It's adorable and oddly addictive, very suitable for casual playing every now and then.

Claw Stars is a claw machine game where you can claw for items and collect stuff like spacesuits and spaceships. You play as a hyper-intelligent hamster driving a spaceship, and go around the universe fixing up planets and saving animals. You can also steal from other players or kidnap their animals. The graphics are bright and adorable, and there's a lot more content now than when I played it in Early Access.

    Abstract WWI Flying Game?

    Posted: 01 Jul 2021 12:09 AM PDT

This has been killing me. Does anyone remember this somewhat popular Android game from a year ago? It was a casual flying game where you played as a WWI fighter flying through obstacles, all to a phenomenal score and really good story told through letters from the character to his wife. The artstyle was really abstract, lots of shadows and silhouettes.

Does anyone know of a program to convert button input from a controller into keyboard presses?(without root)

    Posted: 30 Jun 2021 11:28 PM PDT

I am trying to play a port of a game that uses keyboard input, and I can use the onscreen game pad keyboard, but I can't find any software that seems to do this without root, I saw someone set up this game with SixAxisController, but I have an Xbox controller. Thanks :)

    [Question] Regarding Play Store sales

    Posted: 30 Jun 2021 11:39 AM PDT

Let's say a game costs like $2 in play store, and for a limited time [sale] it goes free. If I install that game and uninstall it later, can I install the game for free again after the sale has ended? Idk what Play Store's policy on this is, so I'm asking here. My country is india btw, if that helps.

(Also sorry if the post is too confusing)

    [Request] Collecting Games/Farming Games

    Posted: 30 Jun 2021 03:51 AM PDT

I'm looking for games that are collecting games, kinda the type that you get like a whole catalogue to work through but I don't want it to be impossible to fill out or where you have to spend ridiculous amounts of money. Something like pokemon and the pokedex but (most) of the pokemon are in game already.

I've tried stuff like Dragon City and Monster Legends but having to pay money for gems to unlock islands to be able to have space for things or paying to unlock a majority of the dragons was kind of annoying so I would like something that's not so brutal about it.

The art style doesn't matter to me and if it's a paid game, as long as it good and not absurdly priced, I'm down to try it.

I'm also kind of looking for farming kind of games/building collecting kind of games. Think Simpsons Tapped out or kind of like where you have animals and feed them like farmville but not total cash grabs.

edit to add: bonus points if the game has some plot to it and stuff

Games that use the phone gyro in cleaver and fun way?

    Posted: 30 Jun 2021 04:30 PM PDT

Hello. I'm interested to see the ways motion control can be used in games. What are some standout games that you can recommend that use the gyroscope as part of their core mechanic?

Anyone know what's happened with Gemini Rue?

    Posted: 30 Jun 2021 07:21 AM PDT

I had Gemini Rue on my phone/tablet a year or so ago, but it's no longer available on the play store. Unfortunately I don't have it on my new tablet or my phone anymore and I never finished it. Is it just an Android version issue? Both on Android 11, or has it vanished from the store completely?

Portrait/Vertical racing games? Like Mario Kart. I would love a Real Racing vertical game, but I may be asking too much.

    Posted: 30 Jun 2021 06:01 PM PDT

I love mario kart, super simple. One handed. I also somewhat like NFS, and Real racing and Rebel racing. I have a sim rig at home. But I hate playing landscape mode.
