However I will need dedicated gps and I want to confirm the non + model has it. Thee website shows it as a feature however it also is comparing the s7+ and their specifications seem to be mixed together. But one thing that's been bugging me is that their smartphone speaker is getting worse every generations! My S10+ has better sounding speaker than the S21 Ultra I've been testing for the past week. Game, film or music just sound tinier, not enough bass and sometimes even distorted. The reason is really simple: the front speaker grill got slimmer for a smaller top bezel. Whenever my Samsung tv is touched it turns on and opens a small sub menu of "power off. Channel up. Channel down. Volume up. Volume down. Source" I can tap the back of the screen and it just decides it's time to switch on and does it's own thing. It's like I'm living with a psychopath. Every time my dog walks past the tv it turns the tv on? I can't believe this is a designed feature? Even the slightest rock of the tv it switches itself on. Is there anyway to disable this? Posted: 02 Mar 2021 03:46 AM PST Hey there, I have been a fervent opponent of curved edges ever since I saw samsung s7 (I am still using samsung s6), but I have never actually used them for longer than a minute, so I was wondering if it's actually as bad as I had imagined. I am currently looking to buy s20 or s21 (online, there's no s20 in stores that I can try out) and the only thing stopping me from buying s20 is the edges, but I see that they're slightly less curved than they were in older models? The thing that concerns me is that it's uneven (there are distortions) at the edges & it would be harder to protect the phone with a case. | Tab S7+ trackpad is just awful. Any suggestions? Posted: 01 Mar 2021 08:49 PM PST Everything about my Tab S7+ is downright perfection. The AMOLED screen is vibrant and gorgeous, the S-Pen is fantastic, the speakers are great, the system is responsive and performant. However, the over-priced type cover has much to be desired. The keyboard is pretty good with a decent tactile feel, and keys are very responsive. This is where the good ends. The flappy bit connecting it to the actual tab is terrible design, and a far cry from the stiffness of a Surface Pro. The flappyness of it makes it move around a lot when not on a solid surface. Secondly, build quality is very meh, it doesn't bend very easily, but I have found that if it even bends a little it actually clicks the trackpad! Thirdly, and the main point of my post, is the trackpad is one of the worst I have ever used in my entire life. Cheap 300 dollar laptops have better trackpads than this, like seriously walk into a Best Buy, find the cheapest laptop available and it will be better. In terms of general movement, it is ok, a little bit floaty, but ok, but when it comes to precise sliding, say attempting to place the cursor in the middle of a word between two specified characters, then it is a nightmare. It's better to just use your finger at this point because you will constantly overshoot without meaning to. And the button click on it terrible as well, hard to actuate when you want it too, but actuates when you don't want it to. Did Samsung test this before putting it out on the market for over a hundred dollars? If I am going to be paying over one hundred dollars for a god-forsaken keyboard, then I expect it to be good, not just "slighly passable." So this leads me to here, are there any alternative typecovers that don't suck as bad? Because if I am gonna use this keyboard for light work like Word, Evernote, and general web browsing, I don't know if I can get used to it. Or is there some hidden feature that automagically improves the trackpad quality, some random devtool that makes the trackpad perform more nicely? I am all ears. [link] [comments]  | ||

I've never seen this before. It's forcing me to use Cellular instead of Wifi it states that REG09-Missing a 911 Address Wifi calling requies a 911 address in case of emergency. And then then a link that says Update or confirm your adresss What the heck? It then opens up an internet page ASKING for my phone number and zip code to confirm something. Is this even legit? | One UI 3.0 might have broke my Gallery. Posted: 01 Mar 2021 06:02 PM PST First off I have an unlocked Note 10+ (snapdragon). Ever since updating my phone with the One UI 3.0/Android 11 update my phone will not show photos from the SD card in the Gallery app. If I take a photo it will show in the little preview window in the corner until you click on it. The phone will displace an error "Unsupported File" and the image preview disappears or it will open for a moment and disappear. But if you open the My Files app therefore into the SD card and DCIM folder everything including the new photo that was "unsupported" is there and will open just fine. So the card is definitely mounted, reading and writing correctly. I have tried a number of things already; unmounting and remounting the card, booting into safe mode, clearing cache from Gallery, Camera and My files, resetting default apps, resetting all settings, and placing the card into two other devices. The first service I tried was a friend's S10+ also running One UI 3.0 and no luck. Second device I tried was a Note 20 Ultra that was still running One UI 2.5 and I opened up gallery and there was the folder from my card with all my pictures. Am I missing something I should try? Did this happen to anyone else? Or did Samsung only care about the S21s when making 3.0 and forget that a lot of us still have SD cards? [link] [comments]  | ||

So l left it to dry for a while (weeks) and now it doesn't want to work at all despite it being dry.
