Unpopular Opinion: you are all blowing the charger situation out of proportion

    Posted: 15 Jan 2021 06:54 AM PST

Ok, before you send me death threats, let me just say I'm a big tech fan and I'm especially a fan of the unbox experience (huge fan of Unbox Therapy on YT), there is no better feeling than opening that new phone box and pulling out all the goodies. We can all agree on that.

Let me also say that I don't think there is such thing as having too many power bricks laying around, there are tons of uses for them.

With that said, I understand everyone feels like Samsung is only taking away from us (headphone jack, MST, SD expansion, etc) -- I'm not happy about alot of those either. But on the topic of the charger being removed, yes, they did make fun of Apple and then do exactly as they did. However, you could argue that they gave $260 in credits (on top of dropping the phone cost $200 - although, yes, they did takeaway features) for you to do whatever you wanted with and we're selling bricks for $16. Those complaining could have spent their accessory money to purchase 16 chargers. How much money did Apple give their sheeple for buying the new iPhone? Oh that's right, $0.

Sorry Samsung. Pricing is still crazy.

This has to be the play right? I don't use a lot of storage, SD card isn't a problem and neither is 1440p due to adaptive refresh rate. Only 100 bucks, a ton of free products, too.

Upgrade from S10 to Note 20 Ultra or S21 Ultra

    Posted: 15 Jan 2021 07:33 AM PST

So I am a little torn. They are priced about the same. Both can use an S pen(even though it can be stored easier in a note). The note still has SD expansion. The cameras are close in comparison minus the selfie cam and zooms. . I'm just looking to move into a big screen phone and so far leaning towards the Note ultra. Just looking for people's input.

Will there be reviews about battery life performance etc before the pre order period ends(28th jan) or is there an embargo? I'm not sure about how all this works

What are my upgrade options for phones with an SD card slot?

    Posted: 15 Jan 2021 02:32 AM PST

Been loyal to android since the Motorola Bravo, and to Samsung specifically since the S2. Currently on the Note 10+ (256 gb) with a small 14 gb card in to offset some document storage. My SD card is full and between my music, apps, and pics (they take the least amount of space, I only have like 200 pics), I only have 75gb left on my internal storage on my phone. I strongly prefer bigger phones and batteries because I watch shows though my streaming services on them. So a good, big, screen is a must. I was going to switch to the Fold 3 when it came out, but looking at how much space I actually need, Im thinking it may not be viable. What brands should I look into?
