Moving from Huawei to Samsung Questions

    Posted: 27 Jan 2021 06:15 AM PST

    Hey everyone,
After many years without a Samsung (my last one was s3) I had a few questions on the move.

    1. Is there an easy way to clone my Huawei phone (P30 Pro) to the newly coming Samsung (S21 Ultra)? - I know that there are clone applications for each company but its a move between them..
    2. I'm using Lastpass as a password manager, and on Huawei theres an annoying bug that Accessibility Service and Draw Over Apps permissions just gets turned off occasionally, is that a thing in Samsung phones as well?
    3. What are your suggestions for the first time using the phone, full charge? use out of the box?
    4. Is there G-Cam for Exynos version?
    5. Is rooting still a thing on Samsung devices?

    Thanks alot!

S21 Ultra and Spen or Note 20 ultra?

    Posted: 27 Jan 2021 07:31 AM PST

That phone would you recommend and why? I'm someone who will only use spen once in a while to sign documents or navigate the phone.

    Galaxy S21 Green tint issue

    Posted: 26 Jan 2021 11:49 AM PST

I wish multiple devices can be connected via Samsung flow, not just phone/pc or phone/tablet.

    Posted: 27 Jan 2021 07:32 AM PST

Right now for Samsung flow, you can either do phone to pc or phone to tablet. It would've been so good to connect them all together other WiFi and seemlessly share files. I hope Samsung bring that feature.

Are you all stuck with the One UI emojis? (S21)

    Posted: 27 Jan 2021 06:08 AM PST

I have just got my S21 I upgraded from freakin' huawei and you are telling me that there is no way to change these horrible emojis? I have searched through the whole internet and there seems to be no way?

The S21 so far is absolutely amazing but I get headaches from these emojis idk why.

How to transfer only certain text to new phone?

    Posted: 27 Jan 2021 06:05 AM PST

Got 21+ but I have some text and group chats on S9 I'd want to move over, is there a way to selectively do just that and not the full backup and restore everything apps? Like I remember using sms backup+ years ago but all that did was back everything up to gmail which was like a garbled mess in Gmail.

I don't need everything just certain text. Currently using textra fwiw.

Is it worth going from S10+ to S21

    Posted: 27 Jan 2021 03:30 AM PST

Have been using my S10+ since launch day, loved it, but I like to change my smartphone once in a while. Usually I buy the best option available but can't this time around, so I'm thinking about the S21. Is it worth upgrading or is a top model from 2 years ago better then the base model now?

    Carrier Financing through Samsung

    Posted: 27 Jan 2021 04:47 AM PST

Has anyone has experience with financing their phone through their carrier purchasing from the samsung website?

This is my first time with the s21 launch and when I checked out it said it would bill my credit card $105 a month (15$ financed + 90 phone plan)

Now my plan is the same plan on the receipt but I currently pay $45 a month with a group discount. Is this going to go up? Will my phone now be billed through Samsung? I thought it would just go onto my bill similar to if I finaced from Verizon directly.

    Dual fast charger recommendations

    Posted: 27 Jan 2021 02:23 AM PST

Anyone got a recommendation for a dual fast charger for the S21 ultra? I decided to go for the S21 ultra in the end, and would like a 45w charger for both mine and my partner's S21 ultras.

It seems that I'd need a 100w dual port charger to be able to utilise fast charging on both phones from one charger. Anyone got a recommendation for one (UK)?

edit: turns out the S21 ultra is only 25w charging, not the 45w of last year's ultra, so I need to find a fast charger support for 25w for 2 ports.

    Hey, all!

Has anyone here ever purchased a Samsung device on WondaMobile.com? If so, would you be willing to briefly share your experience as well as your level of satisfaction with the device you received? You'd really be helping a brother out!😅

    Thanks

which charger do I need for the S21?

    Posted: 27 Jan 2021 07:53 AM PST

Hey, as the phone won't come with a charger and I only have super old ones (no quick charging etc.): which charger should I get?

I see ads with 40W chargers and also quick chargers with 18W. Buying a Samsung charger for 28 seems a bit too expensive. Or are there any benefits of using the original charger in terms of battery life?

    I'd appreciate your help!
