Recover lost partition from a HDD (converted from basic to dynamic) Posted: 30 Jan 2021 11:05 AM PST Hey guys. I had my old HDD (a dynamic disk) put in an external HDD rack and I wanted to copy the files from it to my new HDD. Upon doing so I accidentally converted it to a basic disk and now my partition is unallocated space. I immediatley removed it from the rack and now I ask if there is any way to recover the partition or the files. Thanks [link] [comments] | ||

BSOD after clean install. ntkrnlmp.exe & ntoskrnl.exe listed as cause. Posted: 29 Jan 2021 09:33 PM PST For months now, I have had regular BSODs with various error types. Today I did a clean install hoping to eliminate the possibility of a bad driver. While updating my chipset drivers (https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/TUF-GAMING-X570-PLUS-WI-FI/HelpDesk_Download/) I had another crash. According to WhoCrashed, it was a SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED crash cause by ntkrnlmp.exe and ntoskrnl.exe. How do I fix this issue once and for all? Here is a list of troubleshoots I have already performed to no effect. Memtest mem86 Driver Verifier Updated Drivers sfc /scannow chkdsk Here are my specs. MOBO: Asus tuf gaming x570-plus wifi CPU: AMD Ryzen 3700x GPU: Gigabyte RTX 2070 Super RAM: 16gb DDR4 3200mhz PSU: Corsair 750 Watt 80 PLUS Gold SSD: Samsung 970 EVO M.2 500GB <-OS on this one SanDisk Ultra 3D SSD 1TB This is a onedrive link with the dump files and msinfo https://1drv.ms/u/s!AsTthyS5TInDhB6donzQ8Xpu9UD9?e=LYYUdv I'd appreciate any help y'all can give. I need help with screen recording. Posted: 29 Jan 2021 03:10 PM PST My OBS isn't picking up my game's screen. I tried the game capture, the normal window capture, and display capture. I don't know what to do. My game I am trying to record is Minecraft. [link] [comments] |
