Screen goes black or PC crashes when opening games or Furmark. Posted: 10 Jan 2021 09:57 PM PST Computer Type: Desktop, custom built GPU: RTX 3070 (Asus Dual OC) no overclock CPU: Intel Core i7 10700K - no overclock Motherboard: MSI z490 RAM: G.Skill 16GBx2 - DDR4 3200 PSU: Corsair RM 750x Operating System & Version: Windows 10 clean installation. updated to latest version. GPU Drivers: Various Description of Problem: So it began yesterday while I was playing Gears 5 (461 drivers). The game and PC crashed. I reboot and try again, it crashed as soon as I opened the game. I tried two others games (RE2 and Dark Souls 3), game crashed as soon as the loading with the logos finished. I tried to revert back to older drivers with DDU clean installs, both versions of the 460 drivers and same thing on both. Now, most of the times when I open games, I have a black screen on both of my monitors, but sometimes I can hear the game sound, so apparently it doesn't crashes but can't display the image? I am so confused. Everything works fine outside of games, I was even able to play Hearthstone and some older and lightweight games without issue, it's technically a fully 2d games, so perhaps it has to do with 3d settings? Monitor also instantly goes black when I start the Furmark stress test. I opened my case and remove all the dust, there wasn't that much. Temperature looks fine too. How do I record PC audio + mic but not hear myself? Posted: 10 Jan 2021 04:35 PM PST I'm trying to record my computer audio and microphone at the same time using Audacity, but I don't want to be able to hear my mic in my headphones. I've managed all of this (by telling Windows to "listen" to my mic device and then recording the loopback channel in Audacity) except for the part about not being able to hear myself. About ISP Posted: 10 Jan 2021 10:45 PM PST I recently able to get spectrum modem and router. I am In currently TWC 50mps download and 5mps internet plane. I am current using my own modem and router but should I get modem and router from spectrum?
