Samsung Galaxy A41 League of Legends: Wild Rift support?

    Posted: 30 Dec 2020 04:10 AM PST

Hi, I want to buy a new phone and Samsung Galaxy A41 seems like the best choice for me currently. But I can't see it on any list of supported devices for League of Legends: Wild Rift. There are A20 series, A30 series, A50 series but no A40. Does anyone have this phone? Can anyone please confirm that I can play Wild Rift if I buy it?

    Thanks. (Sorry for tech post)

    Samsung Nightmare

    Posted: 29 Dec 2020 09:18 PM PST

Has anyone else noticed that customer service seems to have gone from the customer is always right to the customer can't even speak to anyone who can do or change anything?

Hopefully, it's just me... but a couple of times lately significant companies have gotten me.

Samsung - I was excited to buy a 65 inch Samsung TV a month ago. Really excited in fact. The idea of having a 65 inch Samsung TV was something I could have only dreamed about a few years ago.

I decided to buy it straight from Samsung, chose to receive it on December 2nd between 9 am and 1 pm, paid via Amazon Pay and for the next few days, I was pretty excited, to be honest...

And then I went to look for tracking information, and realized I never received an email from Samsung after my purchase... so I verified the charge went through, which it did. I chatted with Samsung customer service, spent several hours on the phone starting to get alarmed because nobody could find my order with my address/phone/email/name..

Finally, they gave me a case number and said they would look into it and email me. They then emailed me to say they could not find my order number. I replied and let them know I realized that that was the problem but the order was made.

Then a new person started responding to every email - no ownership. It was a catch 22 of having to explain the problem over and over again. One person would ask for proof of purchase, so I showed my Amazon Pay I used to purchase from Samsung... and then they would glance at it, see the Amazon logo, and tell me that I did not order from Samsung I ordered from Amazon. I would then have to start the entire thing again.

It was going insane, and the purchase I was once excited about had already become a nightmare... but I waited and hoped it at least arrived as scheduled... although I was inclined to cancel already.

So, I waited for Dec 2nd, even skipped the gym which I try hard not to do on scheduled days, and nothing came. Ugh.

My next weekend, I spent at least five hours on the phone with Samsung being insulted at this point. I was told that if I had ordered I would have received an email, that I must have been mistaken about where I ordered my TV from, that I probably just ordered it from Amazon and was confused.

Jesus Christ. If you can't tell, I was beyond frustrated.

I finally called Amazon Pay who told me there wasn't much they could do, but they could connect me to a special department within Samsung that they dealt with and should be able to help me.

The Samsung representative refused to talk to me with Amazon on the line. When I explained the situation, she told me she was so sorry that I had to call a couple of times in a nonchalant way and indicated that she could see that my missing TV order was with a partner and PROBABLY going to arrive in the next week or two. Jesus.

I mean wow, again the no ownership, not my problem, vague sorry you care about this rather large purchase you made from us attitude.

So I canceled my order and requested that someone from Samsung follow up with me due to the horrible experience I had. I used to look at Samsung as a really good company. Nope.

Where are we at now? Almost a month later? Samsung Support can't even find my stuff with any of my reference numbers, (I kept records of all this) and states they can't find any record where I have sent or received any emails from them.

There's like nobody at Samsung taking ownership of anything I find who can actually help me. When I call and request a supervisor, they tell me that no, they can help me... hear everything I have typed here in total... and usually hang up on me. They never call back. I suppose it is easier to just avoid dealing with customers.

I am at my wit's end with all Samsung brands at this point.

I mean Jesus. I wanted to make a fairly large purchase from a world-renown brand like Samsung Global, thinking I would have an excellent product and an amazing company behind it. Instead, I found a cluster bomb of a cluster bomb, the worst customer service I have ever experienced from a large company, and endless frustration.

To make it worse, they still have my MONEY... but I have no TV, and can't even go buy another TV because they managed to cancel my order without refunding me... before losing my order information completely again.

It has now been over a month since this started, the furthest I have gotten is that … well they see that I decided to cancel my order, and well it seems like I should have gotten a refund so someone will look into it and reach out in two or three days. They repeat this line every two or three days when I ping them.

They turned a major purchase for me that I was excited about from what I thought was a great brand, took my money over Christmas so I couldn't get a new TV, and have created the absolute worst customer service experience imaginable.

dont know what samsung is thinking

    Posted: 30 Dec 2020 03:46 AM PST

considering how compelling the iPhone 12 series is and how relatively affordable the 12 mini and 12 are, launching a plastic phone with a lot of cut down features at a higher price than than the 12 seems like a losing strategy to me, unless I'm missing something here

As mentioned above. The display on my girlfriend's s9 has broken and I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to use a s8 display to replace the broken one.

Thanks everyone for the answers, wish you a good day.

Note 20 One UI 3 problems

    Posted: 30 Dec 2020 06:59 AM PST

I use the official launcher and it keeps freezing at random.

Can't pull up the open apps tab, pressing on an app icon does nothing.

Have to reboot my phone like 3 times a day sadly.

It's usually after using the double app window.

Otherwise it feels really smooth and fast, but this is quite the annoyance.Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

Is it a good idea to upgrade?

    Posted: 30 Dec 2020 04:52 AM PST

I currently have an A5 2017, which I think is the perfect size for me and aside from the performance which is sluggish now I can't complain. I was wondering if it was a true upgrade getting another compact phone, like an A20e, an A40 or an A41, or I'd be better off keeping my current A5 until it dies.

S20 FE vs S20 Ultra (both Exynos)?

Which is better to buy? Is the ultra worth the extra cost over the FE? In my country both are available only with Exynos chips.

Has anyone tried using the Wireless Charger Trio with the original Galaxy Watch?

    Posted: 30 Dec 2020 03:42 AM PST

    Hello,

I'm looking into picking up the Wireless Charger Trio. However, I saw in the description of it that it only officially supports "Galaxy Watch 3, Active, and Active 2". I see no reason why the original Galaxy Watch wouldn't be supported, so I reached out to Samsung support and their response was literally "it's not on the list but you can try it anyway".

So, before I shell out some money on an expensive wireless charger, I want to ask if anyone uses the trio with their original Galaxy Watch, and does it work well? Are there any complications I should be aware of?

    Thanks in advance!

Switching Galaxy Watch 3 to New Device

    Posted: 30 Dec 2020 03:25 AM PST

I've changed my phone and want to transfer my GW3 to my new phone which normally involves having to reset the phone.

However I have sideloaded the ECG and Blood Pressure Monitor apps onto my watch (they are not available in the UK) so is there a way I can move to my new phone without resetting the watch and having to go through the effort of sideloading these apps again?
