It's uncomfortable, doesn't look good in my opinion, it makes for a lot of button on the edge hard to press. I'm waiting for the 9 pro to see what oneplus has got in mind but I'm seriously considering the iphone 12 o the pixel 5. This curved edge are pure marketing stuff and I'm surprised by the phone overall but disappointed at the same time [link] [comments]  | ||

| Oneplus 7 pro battery draining heavily out of the blue Posted: 29 Sep 2020 04:41 PM PDT For most of my ownership of this phone, the battery has been one of it's best features. I could easily go though a whole day of relatively high usage (lots of youtube, some games, google duo, etc.) with 20% remaining. For the past few weeks, I've needed to recharge my phone many times throughout the day to prevent it from dying. I was concerned, but brushed it off because I assumed I had used my phone more heavily to cause this. Today I realize that my concerns were real, as I had school for the first time in months. I've actively been on my phone for maybe 2 hours today at most and it's at 18%. I've looked through detailed battery usage and the total usage from apps adds up to 30-40%, meaning I should be sitting around 60% assuming some loss. I haven't changed anything that I can think of recently, but the battery life has gone from a key advantage of this phone to a massive liability. If anyone has any experience with this problem I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks! [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 29 Sep 2020 03:38 PM PDT I recently bought the OP8 Pro and when migrating all the pictures from my old galaxy s9 to this phone only around 500 pictures are show in the regular "photos" tab and the other 9000 in the collections tab under different albums. | Why did OnePlus remove the Zen mode widget? Posted: 29 Sep 2020 11:50 AM PDT On the widget it now says, "The new version doesn't support widget, please remove it." Its still in the widget catalogue as well, but once you put it on a page it displays that message. Disappointing really, I use Zen mode a lot, and now to get to that app I'll have to search it from settings. Or is there any way I can put it in my app drawer? [link] [comments]  | ||

I've been waiting for the 8T Pro to come out because I assumed the display issues would be resolved now and maybe there would more updates but since it's been announced that there will be no 8T Pro, I'm wondering if I should just get the 8 Pro? | Posted: 29 Sep 2020 11:18 AM PDT On my op6 I have issue I got like a couple months ago, I have tried a lot to fix it but it seems like it's getting worse, it's a bar at the bottom that's flickering but I can see through it, still annoys me super bad, when I turn down the screen light to very low i can't see it, but if it's at max it's the worst and sometimes it's even bigger. The only solution i found that works so far is turning down the light, so I can't have the light on max or a lot or it just flickers again... Now that has been going on for a couple of days, until i woke up today and it didnt work at all. When i try to use the face camera on Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook and so the screen just turns black and freezes, even when i use the phone's regular camera, the camera app just crashes.
