| G-Speed Studio XL problems *HELP!!* Posted: 29 Aug 2020 01:11 PM PDT I have a G-Speed Studio XL raid hard drive tower that I have been using with my 2017 IMAC since summer 2017. Yesterday it suddenly stopped showing up on my desktop. When I plug it in, the G-Speed Software shows a notification that the drive is plugged in, but it will not mount. It doesn't show in my finder, and while it is plugged in I can not open Disk Utility as it just freezes. my mac will also not shut down while it is plugged in. I have tried multiple power cables and thunderbolt cables so I know its not the issue. Any ideas? is this thing toast? [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 29 Aug 2020 08:24 AM PDT So i accidently installed VPN extension i didn't want to and i got this notification: New background app added [Extension] will launch at system startup and continue to run in the background even once you've closed all other Google Chrome windows.
