PC is on but I have no display on my monitors Posted: 30 Jul 2020 10:54 AM PDT All the LEDs are on on both my motherboard and graphics card and my fans are spinning too, but my monitors aren't receiving any video input Edit: The PC magically woke up again and I sadly don't have an explanation as to why for other people who might have the same issue. Thank you to those who helped :) [link] [comments]

Posted: 30 Jul 2020 12:59 PM PDT I'm working with an unlocked Moto G Power (2020). Republic Wireless runs off the TMobile network. I've rebooted my phone, updated it, and checked my settings. I am unsure at what to do to fix this problem. Edit: I can send outgoing texts and make outgoing calls no problem. Incoming texts and calls never make it to my phone. After a little testing, calls made to my phone go to a Republic Wireless error message saying that I've been disconnected. But I can still make outgoing calls, and my number appears with those calls. Edit 2: I can receive pictures via text. I cannot receive the text itself. [link] [comments]
Laptop takes a long time to start up after a dust cleanup Posted: 30 Jul 2020 09:51 AM PDT So I had some dust stuck in the intake vent and I opened the laptop for its first good cleanup in 9 years. I got carried away and opened the whole thing up(removed the hard drive, RAM sticks) just to have a look. After getting bored I closed it up and tried to boot it up. The first time I did this the laptop beeped non stop for a whole minute while displaying a black screen with a blinking cursor. It shut up after a while and then probably restarted, after which it was running windows without any hiccups. The problem is after this, it now always takes a long time to start, being stuck on the black screen, then on the windows logo, then finally windows starts up. After about one month with this, the laptop takes consistently 3 minutes to start up, prior to this it was less than a minute. What could be the issue here? [link] [comments]

Posted: 30 Jul 2020 02:16 AM PDT I'm not sure if this is a program my computer or if its sent to a person that uses my computer instantly. HELP I know for sure who it is doing it. I just need to know how it's being done. About a week ago someone seen me playing a game online. I don't know if they stumbled upon my password On one of my password reminders or what. But it was simple. After then logged into game account i was playing. ( i noticed because i was on an alt. account and see myself come online. I searched my Play store and noticed Web Viewer for Android was installed. I know its a cell phone. The person is on my network for Sure. Just don't know how he's gained access to the accounts minutes after me making them. I can almost gaurentee there's another type of view program that or a Keylogger. and I'm on a chrome book so it's got to be an Extension. The thing is. Today i went into incognito mode on this mother flower and while in bandit mode i got onto my gmail real quick like. and i misspelled the password (I'm not sure if this was changed before because i didnt sign into it on regular chrome for a few days. The password was "Keleigh" i couldn't remember how to spell it becasue i had someone make the account. So I typed it in the google search bar to see how it was slept and before i found the correct spelling it had been changed, and the girl was sent an email about it. My opinion is, 1. It was a web view at first. Easy to sneak onto someones computer through the app store. They were observing and seen me type my password in the wrong box or something

Posted: 29 Jul 2020 03:29 PM PDT Hello, I'm trying to install Linux on a Sony Vaio PCG-981P (it's a pretty old laptop, it originally had windows 2000), but when I try to boot the system, the screen just show a flashing white line, I think that the problem is that I need to disable the secure boot, but when I enter the BIOS, there isn't such an option, so that's why I'm asking if anyone knows how to disable this option. Thanks! [link] [comments] |
