How to get rid of the assistant in MIUI 12?

    Posted: 29 Jun 2020 05:14 PM PDT

Just received MIUI 12 for my Mi 9T Pro and I'm LOVING it except for one annoying thing: when one swipes up in the middle of the screen google assistant opens up.

It permanently shows a bright white bar at the bottom of the screen as well which makes apps like YouTube vanced smaller as well.

How do I get rid of it?

Does Xiaomi phones stop charging when it reaches 100%? Is it okay to let it charging overnight?

    Posted: 29 Jun 2020 04:36 PM PDT

It'll overcharge? I noticed this, when I unplugged the charger, the phone didn't wake up which mean that it stop over-charging when it reaches 100%?

[Redmi 5 Plus] Dark text in notifications

    Posted: 29 Jun 2020 07:51 PM PDT

I know that MIUI 11 enables dark mode, unfortunately that works only for Android 9+, and my phone has Android 8.1.

I tried to enable it using the Dark Mode app at the playstore and it worked! Sadly, my notifications text is dark, and I cant read them :(

    Screenshot

There is a way to turn them gray?? Thanks :3

Need HELP, I dont know whats happening

    Posted: 29 Jun 2020 01:44 PM PDT

    Hello guys,

I have a Mi 9T Pro Global Version and today I received the MIUI 12 update. I didnt really like the update so I decided to go back on MIUI 11. I downloaded the Mi PC Suite ( https://c.mi.com/thread-2224746-1-0.html ) and did a backup. I downloaded the MIUI 11 Global Rom ( https://c.mi.com/de/miuidownload/detail?device=1700361) and updated it throught the PC Suite (selected the MIUI 11 ROM). Now my phone doesnt turn on and there is the message "The system has been destroyed". And I can access the fastboot but I dont know what it is.

I'm really frustrated and dont know what to do..

    Please can someone help me!

Mi 9 T Call do not work in car speakers

    Posted: 29 Jun 2020 06:34 PM PDT

Hello, I have a weird problem with my Mi 9 T. Everything I plug into the audio jack works fine. But when I answer a call in the car, the sound does not come out through the speakers. Even if the music was on and I answered, the sound of the call returned to the phone. If I put the call on speaker, it always comes out of the phone. Nothing is conneted via bluetooth, only aux. Am I missing something?

Redmi Note 9 Pro Wifi problem

    Posted: 29 Jun 2020 10:11 AM PDT

    Hey,

I am suffering from the wifi connectivity issue mentioned in the sub before. When the screen is unlocked wifi seems connected however there is no internet, and I have to manually turn off and on the wifi. I saw that Xiaomi rolled out an update that solves this, but my phone shows that I am up to date and this is still happening? Should I expect an update soon? I am on miui global 11.0.1

    Cheers

Is there a way to rotate screen manually on MIUI devices (like I have on Mi A2 Android One)?

    Posted: 29 Jun 2020 09:59 AM PDT

On my Mi A2, if the screen rotation toggle button is OFF, and I rotate the screen to landscape mode, I have a tiny icon that let's me rotate it manually.

Is there any way to have it on my Mi 9T Pro with MIUI 11/12 ?

    Thanks!

    Edit:

It can look like this: https://www.androidpolice.com/2019/06/05/android-q-beta-4-adds-rotation-lock-button-to-gesture-navigation/

    or like that: https://www.androidpolice.com/2018/03/08/android-p-feature-spotlight-rotation-can-temporarily-locked-landscape-changes/

Hey guys, just updated to MIUI 12 here in Europe ( Mi9T Pro ), but for some reason I have no new feature for the Always on Display apart from the Super Wallpaper, is it normal? I read some time ago the update would have brought some new AOD features but nothing so far...
