Posted: 01 May 2020 03:02 PM PDT How good is it? I currently own a Huawei P Smart 2017 and I'm using Tin audio T2 earphones, they work great on my current phone but I need an upgrade and was thinking of the Mi 9T, heard the hi-fi audio it has is very good but it apparently uses 5x more power? Redmi Note 5 gets switched off at 35% battery charge Posted: 01 May 2020 09:32 PM PDT My Redmi Note 5 gets switched off at 35% charge and when I start charging it shows 0% battery. This has been happening since months, earlier it used to get switched off at 22-25% charge but now after updating it gets switched off at 35-37%. How can I fix this? Would I still be able to stream Netflix in 1080p if I were to use a custom rom? (RN8) Posted: 01 May 2020 11:36 AM PDT Hy folks, I got an effect that I believe is screen retention, when going back from a talk to the contacts list on whatsapp I could see a faint image of my background. I've read somewhere that using a custom Rom could help prevent this. I'm a huge fan of custom roms, and used ressurection remix for a long time. I was thinking of using a CR on my redmi note 8, but if I'm not able to run Netflix in full HD I'll hold out for now. Also, it seems that the only proper custom rom is Pixel experience, any rom you folks would recommend? [link] [comments]
Battery life and speed of Xiaomi Mi9T got worse after MIUI 11.0.5 Posted: 01 May 2020 08:57 PM PDT Man, when I got this phone in June of last year, it was so zippy and there was 0 lag. I also got 9-10 hours of SOT with no problem. Now, I can identify noticeable lag when scrolling on the home page and apps like Twitter. Android System is still the highest culprit in the battery scan. I only get about 6-7 hours SOT. That's with 0 games. Just YouTube, Spotify, Chrome, and some social media. This is so disappointing. It hasn't even been a year yet. Anyone experiencing the same issues? [link] [comments]
Posted: 01 May 2020 04:50 PM PDT Just got my first Xiaomi phone. Mi 9t and immediately installed Xiaomi eu rom. Is there a way to put the clock back where it belongs on the right side? With the amount of customization there is I'd be surprised if there isn't. [link] [comments]
How to enhance bluethooth signal in Redmi Note 7 Posted: 01 May 2020 06:23 PM PDT I have a Redmi Note 7 since almost a year ago and it's being a great phone except for one thing: terribly bluethooth connectivity When I connect my Redmi to my bluethooth headset, it sound good, but as soon as I put my phone into my pocket, immediately the sound is very choppy and I cannot hear anything If I put the phone near to my head, the sound is normal again As soon as I put my hand over the upper part of the phone, the sound starts being choppy and it is very annoying. I can't hear anything unless I keep my phone near to my head with my hands I've tried my phone with two different bluethooth headsets and got the same result I think that this is not an isolate case, as it's been reported by other users: http://in.c.mi.com/thread-1966552-1-0.html So I've tried many solutions and settings, and nothing worked so I suspect that this is a hardware problem Therefore I want to know how can I increase the strength of the bluethooth signal to connect better with my BT headset I was wondering if buying an anthena like this one would help me to increase the signal Is there any solution that I can try? Thanks very much for the help, regards! [link] [comments]

Mi 10 Pro 5G UK Spec & Buying Advice Posted: 01 May 2020 05:40 PM PDT Hi folks. It's upgrade time and I've decided to replace my Huawei P20 Pro with a Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro 5G. Couple of questions I hope you lovely lot will be able to answer: I can't seem to find a Global version with 12GB RAM and 512GB ROM. Are the bigger ones only available in the Chinese version, or am I just looking in the wrong place? And that leads me on to the next question - where's the best place to buy a Global version for delivery to the UK (UK plug, warranty, etc.)? I seem to be stuck on fairly shonky looking Chinese sites, so any recommendations of trusted sites or good experiences would be appreciated. [link] [comments]
