- Long story short my new S20 fell off my car at around 70mph. After recovering it, only the back had shattered. The front was completely flawless. Either I'm very lucky or Samsung makes a good case/phone!

Posted: 01 May 2020 04:23 AM PDT So, as the title says, the left galaxy bud has barely any output. This happened once before, and I learned that for some reason, the Samsung store here does not deal with accessories or accept warranties from online purchases. The Members chat is of no help. Last time, I went to a different store and they fixed it by using a spray cleaner, but that didn't work this time. What are my options here? Do I need to upgrade? If so, I have two questions. One, do the buds+ show similar issues? Two, do Airpods work well with a Samsung phone? [link] [comments]
Posted: 01 May 2020 04:22 AM PDT Hi all, I've had my S10+ for around a year now, and I just updated a day or two ago, and it basically removed all predicted words and learned words for everything. Is there any way to sort of "recover" them? [link] [comments]
Posted: 01 May 2020 04:55 AM PDT So, as the title states. After the most recent Galaxy Buds update, Galaxy Buds and Buds + does no longer show individual battery level in the wear app. it will show you both units as 1 and give you 1 battery percentage, which will be the one of the lowest bud. So if you is at 80% and another is at 20%. Then it will show that your buds are at 20%.
Samsung support confirms that this is not a bug, but something they have added in the latest update.
This seems completely dumb, as someone who uses one bud af a time, quite often, i would like to know the individual battery, without having to put one of my buds into the case and close it and then do the same with the other one.
If you find this annoying, I suggest that you head on over to Samsung support an ask them to bring your feedback to the devs so this can be changed back.
If you like it, then great. [link] [comments]
Galaxy S10 glass also shattering like with the S20? Posted: 01 May 2020 02:32 AM PDT I saw a few reports about random camera glass shattering on its own and i wanted to ask if anyone experienced the same thing on their S10? I have my phone in a protective case, the camera opening has about 3-4mm of spacing protection. This happened in march, i put my phone on the bedside table and went to sleep. I'm guessing that i bumped it off in my sleep, when i woke up it was on the floor. There are no edges that it could have hit or any debris on the ground, but when i picked it up, the camera glass in the middle camera was shattered, as in a gaping hole. It felt weird on how the glass just shattered like that, especially in a protective case, even if there was a small rock on the floor, the phone fell from less than 1m in height so for it to shatter as if it was hit by a bullet was odd. I contacted the phone company i bought the phone from, they said back then they didn't hear anything like this before and that i'd have to pay for the full repair cost. Ofc i didn't because fuck that, but now seeing this happening to S20's i was wondering if S10's could have a similar issue or if it was just my [link] [comments]
unlocked A71 spanish markings? Posted: 01 May 2020 08:14 AM PDT Anyone else who purchased an unlocked A71 have these on their phone? On the back of the phone under where it says Samsung it says "fabricado en vietnam" right after the model number (SM-A71F/DS), and in settings>about phone>status, for the manufacturer it says "disenado y desarrollado por samsung". Additionally there is a sticker on the phone box saying "distribuidor autorizado samsung". I'm just wondering if this is normal for unlocked A71 purchases in the U.S. or not since nothing about this was mentioned where I bought it. [link] [comments]

How do I crop screen recordings on my Samsung galaxy a50 without an external app? Posted: 01 May 2020 07:26 AM PDT I've been searching online for about 45 minutes now and I haven't found anything related to my question, so I thought I'd ask the professionals [link] [comments]
Posted: 01 May 2020 07:23 AM PDT I have been looking for a new phone and I am leaning towards a Galaxy Note, since the note taking feature would be extremely useful for me. And I think Dex would be very useful as well. I'm away from wifi a lot and I hate using a wifi hotspot on my phone. Being able to just plug my phone into a windows laptop and use my phone for my desktop with internet would be amazing. I'll likely get a note regardless but the question I have is whether spending the extra money on the Note 10 is worth it for the ability to run Dex on a Windows computer is worth it or if I should go with the cheaper Note 9 and just run Dex the old fashioned way with a dock. So does Dex on a Windows computer work well and does the speed of the Windows computer matter? Like if I have a super fast windows 10 computer will Dex run faster than if I have some bare bones, celeron Windows 10 laptop with 2gb of ram? Does the phone do all of the heavy lifting with Dex or is the speed of the Windows computer an important factor? [link] [comments]
