Your phone (the ASUS ZenFone 3 ZE552KL) lacks the Voice over LTE (VoLTE) technology to make calls over these networks. As a result, your phone will begin to experience issues such as dropped calls, failed connections and general poor call quality. It's unlikely that your phone will work at all on any major network after the end of 2020." Is this just saying only one feature will stop working and thats it? She should be able to still make calls using regular cell signals right? Also general cell data should still work right? Seems insane to think that a network upgrade would just make millions of perfectly functioning phones obsolete. Are there even any budget phones with 5G modems on them? I thought that was just coming out with the latest wave of flagship phones. [link] [comments]  |

I have to do it one by one. It sucks, and when I download them, they go in the group out of chronological order, so it is just a huge mess. Anyone has been through this and know how to fix it? S10 Posted: 30 Apr 2020 06:56 PM PDT I have a very large and extended family who undoubtably have extremely poor timing, calling me whenever I have important phone calls, I can be on the phone for sometimes a hour to two hours at a time for work and they obviously forget I'm busy and will spam call me like no tommorow. I'm sick of the constant beeping in the back ground when im on the phone. Is there a way to adjust my settings so that when I'm on the phone, my call isn't disrupted and just auto forwards them to voice mail? Any help will be appreciated. TIA [link] [comments]  |
| HTC\TWRP - Touch input disabled in recovery Posted: 01 May 2020 01:31 AM PDT I have the T-Mobile HTC U11 Life and I have been following the rooting guides for it. I have unlocked the bootloader and I am now trying to install custom recovery TWRP. I have tried flashing every image of TWRP that I could find for my device even those linked in the guides and they all have the same problem. Touch functions are not working in recovery so I am unable to interact with TWRP and it has me really frustrated. Can anyone familiar with the HTC U line, HTC in general or TWRP help me figure out how to fix this? Again, I am using the HTC U11 Life T-Mobile/US with Android 8 (2.15.531.21). [link] [comments]  |

| Samsung A30 restarts randomly. Tried ALL troubleshoot but no good. Posted: 30 Apr 2020 09:13 PM PDT My phone (Samsung A30) started to restart randomly ever since a minor update from android 9 (currently android 10). It restarts in any app, even when it is locked. Also, sometimes when it restarts, after it booted, some apps are continuously crashing to the point i have to restart my phone. A few days ago, it restarted and got stuck on the logo. After a half an hour, a text saying something is preventing the device from booting up normally so a factory data reset is needed and I did. During the reset, it shut down and boot up in safe mode but it was already RESET but it still asks me to do another reset after i finish the setup. I did reset again and it still restart randomly. I try doing troubleshoot. Went into safe mode hoping it is caused by a bad app but turns out its not since it still restarted in safe mode. Tried factory data reset. Tried clearing the cache partition. All of these did not work and still facing the problem up until today. Could this be a damaged internal memory? Corrupted/damaged firmware? Or a hardware defect? There is no physical damage to the device as I am very careful on it nor it was submerged in water. Please help me since this was the very first phone i bought myself. Thank you. [link] [comments]  |

This can especially be seen when taking screenshots where the photo would be extremely yellow. I tried turning the dark mode off and switch to the white but the screenshots would still be yellow. But this morning I woke up and had an update so I did the update and took about 5-10 minutes. Right after that was done I got another notification saying to update the phone like 2 minutes after the other update finished and it took about the same time if not longer. | Any way to keep Android apps from being killed after idling for a while? Posted: 30 Apr 2020 08:01 PM PDT I currently have a phone with 8GB of ram running Android 9, however, I never saw my phone utilize more than half of its ram(the highest was around 3.9GB). When I'm using my phone in a session, I can open a lot of apps, but there comes a point when the phone has to kill the last app used from the recents bar. That's not the main problem though, as I noticed that after putting my phone down and not using it for 3 or so hours, most of the apps I used previously disappear, with only 5 or so apps remaining. Any way to maximize Android ram usage? I'm on LineageOS 16 if that's related to my problem, but I'm pretty sure it's a problem with Pie since this is the reason why i flashed. Such a shame too since my last phone (Asus Zenfone 3 running Oreo) never closed the apps from the recents (I know since I can come back to an incognito session in Chrome weeks after). Posted: 30 Apr 2020 02:59 PM PDT My kids were playing around with my wife's phone (Pixel 2 XL) and recorded some great videos using the Slow Motion feature in the default Camera app. After recording them, they went in and adjusted the start/stop of when the slow motion actually takes effect. How do we save the video after the changes they've made? We first tried plugging it up to our computer and copying the files off, like we do with our pictures. But, the entire videos are in slow motion, not just the part they selected. We also tried backing them up to Google Photos, but got the same result, the entire videos are in slow motion.
