    MIUI 12 super wallpapers port and how to set them

    The upcoming MIUI 12 mars and earth super wallpapers are available to download right now.

    I saw some people having issue trying to set it up so I'm here to help you guys out. ( Tested on mi 9t pro)

    1- Go to https://www.xda-developers.com/download-miui-12-super-earth-mars-live-wallpapers-ported-other-devices/amp/

    Download the super wallpaper files, it's going to be a big zip file with all the wallpapers and apk for them. Extract and install them

    2- Go to play store and download Google wallpapers app

    3- Go into your phone wallpaper settings and set the default live wallpaper and lockscreen, those animated ones that come with the phone. ( This step is very important, you need to set the default live wallpaper to both the lockscreen and the home screen or the MIUI 12 super wallpapers won't work on the lockscreen).

    4- Go the Google wallpapers and at the bottom you should see a section called dynamic wallpapers, click on it and choose the super wallaper.

    And everything should work.

    Edit 2: I'm on mi 9t pro 11.0.6 not sure if has anything to do with that.

    Hey guys I really need help and suggestions on which to buy from these. I'm planning to buy a phone this 2020 May or June. My price range are suitable around this phones. What if I put Mi 10 Lite in the ring? I'm searching for a phone which has good photos and good performance and I heard 9Tpro is already good with gcam. What a dillema!

    No WiFi

    I have a redmi note 8 that I got a month ago and it would connect to the WiFi just fine. After a week however, it just gets stuck on ip configuration and i have tried set up a static ip and also looked in status all specs part of settings. I have no clue how to get it to work properly.

    My Redmi 5 plus screen not working

    I have had this phone now for about a year and the screen touch response is causing a issue. It will not register the touch command on certain parts of the screen, mainly the bottom side where the keyboard is and when you have the phone horizontally the places where your thing will rest won't work. I have tried resetting the phone but it didn't got fixed. Some day (s) it will work fine (those are pretty rare) and others it just won't work. Is there a solution to this problem? I am out of warranty. And no the phone has not suffered any damage harsh enough to cause a failure.

    Is Redmi Note 8 Pro worth over Redmi Note 8? Os is there a better alternative under 220$

    Hi everyone :)

    I am looking for a new long term phone and I would love to hear some opinions, I need some guidance.

    I would primarily use the phone for work (I work with Instagram, Facebook, Twitter & WhatsApp).

    My budget is 220$ and my plan is to buy it from Amazon.com

    What is really important to me is a long battery life that can last all day without any issue.

    Sometimes I use the phone to watch 1 hour - 2 hours of video.

    I currently own the honor 7x (3GB RAM Version) & I want to upgrade to something a bit faster with better battery life

    I checked the redmi note 8 and note 8 pro, though I don't know which one to buy.. Or if there's really a big difference between the two or if there's a better alternative?

    I checked Huawei and honor phones, they are priced the same as Xiaomis, but with lower specs I think...?

    I would really love some honest opinions :) Camera isn't a big deal to me honestly

    Do y'all think miui 12 will utilize mi 9tbcamera better?

    As the title says, I just wonder if maybe they will make great improvements on the camera, vs having to use Gcam. I think the switch from miui 10 to 11 was awesome, it made alot of things better, especially with miui 10 you could use more files I don't think. When I downloaded songs from Pandora I noticed they didn't show in the music app but they all appeared after updating. I actually just got this phone a few days ago so if someone can help me out with hidden features and general things I should know then I'd appreciate it🙂. Also the Google keyboard Emojis are terrible🤮

    Problem with WhatsApp chat widget on miui 11

    Hi, when I try to set the WhatsApp widget on home screen, it disappears without any advice, even if I try on poco launcher the widget disappears. Anyone has the same problem?

    K20 Pro (Mi 9T Pro) / K30 Pro / Mi 10 lite to buy in May-June 2020

    Hey people, I need help in making a decision to buy one of these phones this May-June 2020 but I don't get how many people say 9T pro is better than k30 pro when k30pro has better specs. K30Pro is sequel to K20Pro but how K20 is better? Should I wait for Mi 10 lite? Help please!!

    Best Mi A2 Lite Rom

    I have MiA2 Lite for about a year. It has Android One (Pie) and lately i have problems with Wifi. Phone is also significantly slower than before and I'm getting some weird loading animation in some apps.

    So i decided to install custom ROM. I need recommendation for best ROM and instructions how to install it.

    Xiaomi and Garmin connect, finding my phone.

    Hi

    I am unable to use the feature on Garmin smartwatch where it rings the phone so I can find it. It just doesn't do anything. Does anybody have any experience with this?

    I also use a Bluetooth tracker on my kering that can do this and that still works.

    List of safe to remove bloatware in MIUI 12 China Beta?

    I'm using MIUI 12 China beta for Redmi Note 7 and it has a lot of bloat (Mi Apps) and Chinese services that are useless to me as a European user. I have removed a bunch of bloat from the rom but I am getting bootloops from it so I wondered does anyone have a list of bloatware in MIUI 12 that is safe to remove?

    Phone see through Wallpapers

    Can we setup a pinned post where people can post photos of the insides of their phones, to be used as wallpapers like the iPhone see through wallpapers that were released. Mods? I suspect progress to be slow but perhaps even Xiaomi themselves could release high res photos of the phones.

    Unable to move apps on SD cards

    I've owned a Redmi 7A for a few weeks, but I got very quickly limited by the 16GB storage.

    I tried increasing it using an SD card, but then realized it wasn't possible to move apps to the SD card using adoptable storage apparently with MIUI.

    Would rooting the phone and installing a custom ROM solve the issue? Is there any other way?

    I started researching this but it looks quite complicated and I'm afraid of damaging the phone completely trying to install a new ROM, when I'm not even sure that achieving this would solve my issue...

    Has anyone been able to solve this?

    Hello everyone! I'm looking to buy another budget phone, due to the fact that my old one kicked the bucket (due to being dropped and then stepped on)

    One of the reasons I bought my previous device was for it's camera, and I loved that camera, as I love taking photos. Now, I can't get the same model as it's not that low-budget friendly, so I'm debating between these two: mainly the Xiaomi Mi A3 or Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T. The question I have is how decent users find the photos that those phones take, and if they are able to take astrophotography or just decent star photos at night? How well do you find the camera to be working at night?

    With my old phone, at the decent settings and a balanced spot, I could take very good photos of the night sky, and could see many constellations depending on locations. Light pollution didn't need to be that low as well, it was one of my favorite things to photograph.
