Posted: 30 Apr 2020 06:06 AM PDT Opinions in my 7t green issue I mention that these are without DC dimming, when i use DC dimming on the same photo, same brightness it's pitch Black. That apply only for that photo ,If i go for exemple in incognito mode at different brightness i can notice it sometimes. I am trying to prevent the Google Translate app from accessing the Google account saved on my device. I wiped storage and cache in the settings for the mentioned app and restricted it with XprivacyLua and AppOpsX. Google Translate is somehow still able to access my Google account. Was this just me or did anyone else experience this. Also how could this happen without me approving app? There are computer programs like EaseUs data recovery that can recover deleted files from a pc. is there a similar software for pc to be able to recover deleted files from android? | Problem with Gallery Lock and stealth mode Posted: 30 Apr 2020 05:13 AM PDT Hi guys, first of all sorry for my bad English, I hope to be clear. I have a Samsung Galaxy A20e and the app Gallery Lock installed on it, with the stealth mode enabled(stealth mode hides the app unless you type *+your pin on the phone app and "call" it). Now, I don't know if it's because of the Android 10 update I made sone days ago, but today I tried to access to the app by doing what I always do(goingo to phonecall app and digit *+pin), but this time is like I'm calling a number that doesn't exist, and the Gallery Lock app remains hidden. I know for sure that all the folders I creates there are not deleted, so I can be sure(or at leat hope) I didn't lost data. How can I access to the app againg? Or at least how can I recover what I had hidden in the app? Please help me, I've also some important things there. I've read that by unistalling the app and reistalling again it, you can reset the pin code and then recover files, but I didn't save them on a cloud, so I'm a little scared to try this and fail. | Blu R2 Plus Pop-up on any/all email formats Posted: 30 Apr 2020 05:10 AM PDT On my Blu R2 Plus the message "close apps after screen lock has stopped" pops up every few seconds. This seems to happen only when I'm texting or emailing and doesn't seem to care if it's Outlook, Gmail or another type. Although, all my phone emails are linked, so that may be why. Butthe texting isn't linked to them...or is it? Anybody know what to do about that or encountered that in a Blu R2 Plus. It's running Android 7 and is just over 1 year old in like-new condition. I have a Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, rooted with TWRP and Slimkat, it was working flawlessly until it fell down, no external damage is visible and I'm still able to boot it but can't get pass the 'desktop' (if you know what I mean) When I restart in TWRP and try to re-install Slimkat (or install another ROM) the process begin but at some point I get following error: E: unable to stat '/data/data/com.google.android.gm/app_webview/Cache/index' I've been going around the Internet trying to find a solution but no success, now here I am, had anybody had this kind of issue? | Brand New to Android - question about Notifications Posted: 30 Apr 2020 02:19 AM PDT So I got my first Android phone a few days ago (OnePlus 7T Pro), and really enjoying it. Definitely a lot of things to get used to, coming from an iPhone, the size of the device included! While I'm happy to get used to most of these changes, one thing is bothering me - I'm getting notification for certain "System UI" things I really don't want, and can't seem to turn off.. yes, thank you for the notification saying I just took the screenshot, but I'm aware of that, seeing as I'm the one who took it... and great, thanks for the immovable notification saying I'm on battery saver mode, as if the icon showing this isn't enough. If I just click on the file from the scroll menu after a download, two apps are suggested which are not related to a file reader. Even if I select one of Them, it still doesnt open. | Phone keeps dropping area code for one contact Posted: 29 Apr 2020 11:03 PM PDT This is driving me crazy. I have one contact that, when I try to text him my phone drops the area code and the send fails. I have a Samsung s10e with Android 10. Before I ran an OS update yesterday I could hold my finger on the number while in the text message and choose to edit the number. I would add back the area code and could send. Since I updated i can't do this anymore, nothing happens when I hold my finger on the number. In my contacts his number has an area code. I've deleted and readded the contact. I've deleted message history. If I start a new message from scratch it shows his number with the area code but as soon as I hit send on a message the area code disappears and the send fails. He can text me fine but I can't reply. Right now I just cannot text him at all. I've tried searching this issue and looks like lots of people have experienced this but the posts are all old, like 8-10 years ago, and the solutions aren't relevant anymore. I travel a lot, so I want to always have access to my files regardless of Internet availability. The current plan is to use a Sabrent 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub and a WD 2TB Elements Portable External Hard Drive. The thinking is since the data transferring process will drain the battery, an externally powered USB data hub is a must. Anything I'm doing wrong? Alternatives? [link] [comments]  |

(E.g. apps for astrophotography, wirelessly controlling cameras, sensor tools for experiments, ...) So I have them sorted in folders, ... to find them easily. But the use a lot of space on my smartphone (Samsung Galaxy S8+). Is there an Android Launcher where I can uninstall an app in a way that the launcher makes a placeholder icon (maybe a grayed-out icon of the uninstalled app) at the place where the app was, so that I easily can reinstall them with clicking on the placeholder? (I used NovaLauncherPrime, but sadly it can't do this. I asked them in a mail and they told me that the only maybe will implement this someday.) Does anyone of you know a Launcher (or maybe an app) that can do this? Thank you very much!!! --- EDIT 29.04.2020 ------------------------------------------------ A little correction about my information that NovaLauncher can't do this: When I make a BackUp with the NovaLauncher, uninstall some apps, and restore the Nova-BackUp my uninstalled apps are replaced with a grayed-out version of this app with a direct link to the PlayStore when I click on them. That would be great. But sadly the restoring of the Nova-BackUp messes up my Widgets. (Because the won't BackUp the Widgets because of legal requirements, as they answered to an email of me). So I think that it should be possible. (Sadly I can't program) If they would give the possibility to make these placeholders while uninstalling (without the restoring of a BackUp), it would solve the problem. But the NovaLauncher-Team said, that they only maybe will implement this one day, but not now, because no one other than me requested this.
