Google Play Music suddenly does not play all local mp3 anymore Posted: 13 Feb 2020 03:36 AM PST Some basic info:
Did something happen to Google's Play Music? For 2-3 weeks now, I have been unable to play a few certain mp3 files anymore. But I discovered a weird thing about it. Case 1
Case 2
So, basically, what is going on?! I do not understand the technicalities here at all. Would anyone happen to have helpful ideas? :) [link] [comments] |
Is it possible to disable the translucency for Google Keyboard? Posted: 13 Feb 2020 10:13 AM PST I guess it's a pretty popular feature, because my searches on the topic come up with a bunch of people posting about how great it is. I find it harder to read. Is there a way to get rid of it? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 13 Feb 2020 05:19 AM PST Here's the Play Store link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.buildone.typr After a lot of work, and ensuring the app was ready for testing with a few friends and redditors, the first beta for Typr is available. The new google policy to new apps delayed the release by 3 days. Motivation I made Typr only as a side project to understand new concepts around android (like navigation, room, viewmodel pattern and lifecycle) , the idea came from this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/androidapps/comments/epwx4l/note_app_which_works_like_telegrams_saved/ The app features simple note taking, minimalist interface, dark and amoled themes, full online-syncing with full offline functionality, searching and a lot more. Next features will cover achieved and trash notes that will last 30 days until deleted. Icons to channels, more colors, reminders, stick notes, pin channels and a lot more. I currently have no logging or analytics libraries in the app, and no personally identifiable info is stored. I'm in the process of preparing a proper privacy policy. Feedback and suggestions are highly appreciated. Play Store promotional codes: Z8G76VK2PEFKAKG7ARVZ17Q Q9XN3550WKUUWWTZPLSQ5XM 3T5KPDPBY0XRVSZ28CNWEJ6 2HQAPE2VXEAGKW1X4QM44E6 [link] [comments] |
Posted: 13 Feb 2020 09:12 AM PST I need a simple browser that has the options such as "search by image" and "find more sizes" of the same image as well as download it directly from the Google page without visiting the webpage where the image belongs to. Via browser was perfect for this job but recently it won't allow me to find higher resolution of NSFW images anymore (there's no problem with other images) [link] [comments] |
Posted: 13 Feb 2020 05:25 AM PST Hi first time poster long time anime lover. I'm a developer (web mainly) that created my first android app to list animes, download and watch (via torrent stream). All animes are from HorribleSubs right now, but I have planned to add anime from other places. I created mainly for myself but, I published on Google's play store for anyone to download. I would like to have feedback from anime fans, like: new functionalities, problems encountered, what's cool, and not cool and so on... https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=pt.kitsupixel.kpanime.lite Thank you very much for taking time to read. Looking for a phone functions limiting app. Posted: 13 Feb 2020 02:59 AM PST Hello! My grandmother is having some issues using the phone so I'm only looking to find an app or laucher that displays and incoming call and two big buttons for answer or hangup and thats it. No sliding no fancy stuff, green and red big buttons or something similar. Is there anything like that? [link] [comments] |
Wunderlist will be shutting down on May 6th, 2020, to be replaced by Microsoft To-Do Posted: 13 Feb 2020 10:56 AM PST It's been a long time coming, but is kind of sad. used to love this a few years ago [link] [comments] |
Posted: 12 Feb 2020 05:59 PM PST I had an idea for a simple app that I was wondering if it exists or if somebody feels like spending some time and coding one up. After nearly getting knocked out and spending half a day in the ER, I checked the Play Store and there's no "Dead Man's Switch" that does what I want:
Something I would use with the wife when I'm doing something dangerous, e.g. on the roof or using the chainsaw. I could have been sprawled out for hours before she'd check. We're going to do a ghetto version from now on. She sets a timer for 12 minutes. I set one for 10. When she gets a text from me to reset her timer, she will. If not, she comes looking. I want the two minutes slack to ensure I have time to safely stop what I'm doing to get the phone out, unlocked, etc. [link] [comments] |
All my GroupMe chats and DMs and contacts are gone Posted: 13 Feb 2020 12:33 PM PST Hi there. So quite a long while ago (over a year now), the overwhelming majority of my chats and DMs disappeared, but I still had 3 of my most import chats, and while it sucked losing them, I didn't really care about the DMs or other chats too much. But I checked today, and it's as if my entire account was reset. No chats, no DMs, no contacts. The only thing that has been saved was one chat that I left awhile ago, correctly put under "Chats you've left". This is infuriating and awful. 2 of the 3 chats I had were important to my work as a teacher, and now I don't have access to them. If anyone knows how to help please do share. I want to add that when googling this issue, all that comes up is their own support page from years ago which says it was on their end and they fixed it (which is clearly not the case here). There is no way to contact them directly and get a response as far as I know. I did leave a feedback comment in the app, but that won't help me. So please, help a guy out! [link] [comments] |
Making a couple of long train journeys at the weekend, recommend me some apps? Posted: 13 Feb 2020 04:19 AM PST Making 2x 5hr train journeys at the weekend, taking my Samsung S5e along with me which I've loaded with some PDFs of magazines I read as well as some movies onto the SD card. However I'm wondering what people would recommend as must-have boredom killers on long journeys. I'll be on my own, so not looking for multi-player games. Its a 4G model, so if I need a connection that's not a massive issue either. Not just looking for games either, if there are any decent apps that take a bit of setting up etc then I'm open to hear about those as well. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 12 Feb 2020 03:17 PM PST My 73 yr old dad had a stroke this past week, damaging mostly memory & speech. Would really prefer the apps to be free, seems like a good portion of them are expensive. So far I've got candy crush, word connect, Wordscapes, maybe scrabble? Any help is appreciated. Posted: 12 Feb 2020 09:20 PM PST Is it possible to see my contact status without knowing them. Is there any third party app to snip what's app status? [link] [comments] |
Twitter app that supports "Top Tweets" Posted: 13 Feb 2020 01:34 AM PST I was looking for a alternative Twitter app that supports Top Tweets (like the official app). Most apps I've tried only has the Recent Tweets. But can't find any app that has both of those features. [link] [comments] |
Is it possible to auto update Camera PX app for Pixel devices? Posted: 13 Feb 2020 10:15 AM PST |
Android auto became useless in the past 3-4 months Posted: 13 Feb 2020 09:10 AM PST Hi all. So my father has a Huawei p30 pro phone, and we have an Opel Astra K, about 2 years old. In the past everything worked fine, he plugged it in, it was on the screen, guiding us to our goals, reading the messages, etc. Now, nothing works. I tried the car with my iphone, it worked fine, my father tried his phone on another car like ours, worked fine, I even cleared the usb port, wasn't the problem. I deleted android auto app from the phone, and re-downloaded the app again (now there is no icon to the app and we don't know why?) it doesn't worked. Today, mechanics changed the system in the car, and it STILL doesn't work. What can we do? The problem is clearly between the phone and our car alone if it worked on other cars, and also how can we put the app on the main screen with an icon? [link] [comments] |
Chromium web browsers supporting external download managers Posted: 13 Feb 2020 02:26 AM PST Like IDM and ADM. I know standard Firefox does (but it's slow and the faster Firefox Preview doesn't yet). [link] [comments] |
Are online courses from apps like udemy and edx worth it? Posted: 12 Feb 2020 12:35 PM PST I always wanted to get into photoshop and found some interesting courses in those apps.Any reviews? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 12 Feb 2020 09:03 PM PST I've been using BlackBerry Hub+ for Android, but it's been getting a bit flakey. Is there an app that integrates email, messaging, social media all in one place? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 13 Feb 2020 04:22 AM PST So I've been using Gmail for a few years, then I switched to Yahoo Mail for maybe a year and I just now downloaded Spike mail app. Without thinking about safety and privacy, I linked all of my emails to this app. My q is has anybody else used this app? I really like it but I don't know if it's safe to use. [link] [comments] |
best applock app with random keyboard features? Posted: 13 Feb 2020 02:13 AM PST |
Posted: 13 Feb 2020 02:12 AM PST (non-Amazon, of course.) I've got Minio instance with directory mode buckets (i.e. they're accessible via s3.example.com/bucket, not through bucket.s3.example.com). Google is unhelpful, as it gives me a bunch of „how to add S3 API to your app" results. One would expect there to be more apps that actually use those how-to. So far I've found:
