Galaxy Store for one ui 1.1/android pie updated features: new ui and a dark mode

    Posted: 12 Dec 2019 06:11 AM PST

    My apps

Apparently, one ui 2/Android 10 had the newer store from its launch. I got the update today on one ui 2.0. It does look good and the ui is better and easily navigable (It's closer to the playstore in looks).

It's cool that Samsung didn't lock newer features to Android 10

Samsung Galaxy A51 unveiled - Korean giant's new hit

    Posted: 12 Dec 2019 02:09 AM PST

It has changed externally, but the parameters are largely the same.

    Samsung Galaxy A51 unveiled

As promised, Samsung today introduced the first new-generation Galaxy A line of smartphones. The most important novelty is the Galaxy A51, as the Galaxy A50 sold very well this year and was one of the manufacturer's best sellers.

We have known almost everything about the Galaxy A51 for a long time, so it remains to take stock. So, in terms of parameters and performance, little has changed.

Recent owner of a A70, would I be able to use my old chargers?

    Posted: 12 Dec 2019 04:14 AM PST

So, the phone comes with a USB-C to USB-C cable, with a charger with only a USB-C port. My understanding is that it's more powerful than my older chargers.

If I were to use a standard charger, or a car charger, with a USB 2.0 to USB-C cable, am I putting my phone at any risk?

    Ks9000 in 2020

    Posted: 12 Dec 2019 07:51 AM PST

Hi, my Samsung ju6000 is dying so I've been looking cheap 4k hdr TVs to replace it with and I saw an ex-display UE55KS9000 that I can get for just over £300.

Is this a good deal going into 2020, or would a budget 4k hdr model from 2019 be better?

Are you using OneUI 2.0 full screen gestures or One Handed Operation+?

    Posted: 12 Dec 2019 07:12 AM PST

Just got the beta for OneUI 2.0 and was playing around with the new gesture settings. The full screen gestures are nice, I've been using OHO+ to swipe in from the sides to go back for a while now, so that motion feels natural enough. With OHO+ turned off, the animations are definitely more fluid and refined, but using OHO+ gives a lot more options for additional gestures and customization. Just looking for feedback on what other users find more useful.

Gap below the keyboard while using OneUI 2 gestures.

    Posted: 12 Dec 2019 06:25 AM PST

So, I have been using Gboard as Samsung's keyboard had this gap where the navbar is supposed to be. Gboard and SwiftKey didn't have this issue, however, after the update, now all keyboards have that gap so I'm interested if there is a way to fix this.

This is the picture of the gap

is there a way to turn Wi-Fi on from the lock screen?

    Posted: 12 Dec 2019 06:19 AM PST

So the full context is, my phone ran out of battery and turned off. And I don't know why, but my pin changed or I am unable to remember it, I have 5 chances left to unlock the phone or all data will be deleted. And I found a way to unlock the phone using "findmymobile.samsung.com", but it requires my phone to be connected to wifi, so how do I turn on Wi-Fi from the lock screen?

Issue with Samsung Galaxy note 9 camera

    Posted: 12 Dec 2019 04:09 AM PST

I tried to use my camera on my note 9 today. Had the phone since April this year. Both the front and rear facing cameras are only giving me a black screen. I can cycle through the camera modes (photo, video, focus etc.) after about 10 seconds the app crashes. There is no message that pops up or anything. I have cleared the data and cache of the camera app, performed a factory reset too.

This issue also persists when trying to use the camera on other apps such as Facebook Messenger and Instagram

Can anyone shed some light on what may be the issue here? The camera has worked perfectly until this morning.
