Should I buy Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro? Posted: 23 Nov 2019 12:38 PM PST Please review your experience with it especially the battery after miui 11 update. Any issues? What do you like about the phone? Thanks a lot [link] [comments]
Why is the Xiaomi Mi A3 so cheap (£140)? Posted: 23 Nov 2019 11:21 AM PST Been looking around for Google One or Go devices and noticed that the Xiaomi Mi A3 costs £140 gbp on Amazon which is the same price as A2. Is this some kind of scam? [link] [comments]

Mi Browser took over Swipe Up From Homescreen Search Posted: 23 Nov 2019 07:28 PM PST Suddenly, my 9T Pro started pushing Mi Browser whenever I swipe up from the homescreen to initiate a search. I used this feature ALL THE TIME with Google, and Mi Browser can seriously f*** off. I tried this suggestion from a post 2 weeks ago, here, but when I removed Mi Browser with adb, whenever I swipe up it displays a white screen with something like "app is not installed", instead of reverting back to Google Search. This is a huge disappointment for me with an otherwise pretty good phone. Pls halp [link] [comments]
QUESTION FOR MI 9 LITE USERS - SOUND Posted: 23 Nov 2019 12:51 PM PST So I'm looking at getting a mi 9 lite to replace my current and outdated phone. Everything's looking great about it although my final reservations are about the sound. So my question is, how is the quality? Specifically through headphones/earphones. Also is there any additional sound enhancement available? Thanks in advanced 👍 [link] [comments]
Just ordered a Redmi Note 8, wanting to hear your reviews / tips! Posted: 23 Nov 2019 07:23 PM PST I'm hoping it will ship with MIUI 11, or at least gets the update. Can anyone confirm? Also wanting to hear your reviews and tips! Also wondering how you feel about the screen. Is it good even though it's not AMOLED? [link] [comments]

Xiaomi Mi 8 + Samsung Galaxy Buds Wearable App keeps crashing Posted: 23 Nov 2019 09:02 PM PST I picked up a pair of Samsung Galaxy buds to go with my Mi 8 and for some reason every time I download and open the wearables app it keeps on crashing. Is anyone else having this problem and has anyone solved it? Cheers [link] [comments]
Phone not turning on after error during ROM installation through MiFlash Posted: 23 Nov 2019 08:37 PM PST I have a Redmi Note 8 Pro, and I've been trying to install the global ROM in it. today I finally managed to unlock it and got to the part where I had to install the ROM to the phone using MiFlash, but a couple of minutes into the process I had a "flash system error" come up and the ROM installation stopped. I did a bit of googling, decided to download the MiFlash software again from the official Mi website, and disconnected the phone from the computer. here is where I think I fucked up: usually, when you access the fastboot screen on the phone, it will automatically restart if you don't do anything in that screen, but after the error it wasn't restarting at all, and since I was worried it would run out of battery like that I held the power button for a few seconds until it turned off. when MiFlash finished downloading again I tried booting the phone into fastboot again, but nothing happened; same when I tried booting it normally. the screen is black, the phone gives a short, soft burst of vibration every few seconds, and when I connect it to the computer the white led on top turns on and it vibrates quickly, and both my computer and MiFlash recognize the phone, which tell me it's at least alive. when I googled this, I found a forum post of a guy with a different phone but seemingly the same issue as me, but the explanation in the thread wasn't very clear at all to me. I'm downloading the file they talked about in the thread, but they mentioned something called "twrp" and I'm very confused. Any and all help will be greatly appreaciated; I'm scared I might have bricked this phone, and considering it's 1) brand new, 2) really expensive, and 3) not even mine, I'm literally shaking. Redmi Note 8 Mediatek or Snapdragon version? Posted: 23 Nov 2019 12:27 PM PST Which of those two to buy? I never liked mediatek , don't know how it is nowadays but remember overheating and bad update support. The latter shouldn't be a problem but I'm still leaning towards Snapdragon. Anyone compared these two? [link] [comments]
Posted: 23 Nov 2019 12:26 PM PST As the title stated, I'm seeing all these leaks about the Redmi K30 all around the internet. Does that mean the K30 pro will come afterwards? And hearing about it will be using a 5G capable Mediatek chipset. Is kind of a bummer as I prefer Snapdragon chips. That and my country is still far off from making 5G available for the whole country. But we still don't know what other features will come with the K30 Pro that would make me ignore the Mediatek vs Snapdragon situation. I was actually planning to buy the Redmi K20 Pro. And now I'm torn whether or not to wait for the K30 Pro first. What do you guys think? Should I just go for the K20 Pro or should I wait for the K30 Pro. [link] [comments]
Posted: 23 Nov 2019 07:34 PM PST Hello, only the right side of my Airdots pairs with my phone. When I press for 3 seconds on the left, it blinks one red blink, but doesn't pair. Does this mean it doesn't have battery or...? The Right airdot works perfectly well by itself. Thank you! P.S: Does the Airdots phone case charge the Airdots without having to plug it in? Thanks! Mi 9T Pro just arrived... Looking for xiaomi.eu, weekly or stable? Posted: 23 Nov 2019 07:29 AM PST Hi all. Just got the Mi 9T Pro, and immediately signed up to unlock bootloader. (at least) 180 hours to go. Many times I searched but didn't find what I want to know. Little background: I still am on Moto G3, modded on first day, and always been with custom roms (but I have to tell that in 3 and a half years I swapped ROM I think 3-4 times, when it worked good, all good!). Probably I am a little outside of the latest custom rom/android development scene. Which one, between xiaomi.eu stable and weekly, do you recommend? And for which reasons? I don't really care to have the latest features within 24 hours, I just want to have a good experience with less bugs as possible. Thank you [link] [comments]
Posted: 23 Nov 2019 02:28 PM PST Hello. I'm looking for phone for my grandmother. Right now she is using old Samsung Galaxy tab 2 mostly for WhatsApp. Now she wants to have internet on the go so she needs sim card. I would buy her phablet because old people have problem with smaller touch screen. I was considering mi max 3, but this phone will be 2 years old soon. I'm wondering how Xiaomi didn't release something in that segment? No phone with 6.6-7.5" diagonal??? [link] [comments]
Posted: 23 Nov 2019 06:13 PM PST Heya folks, Love the phone! However when trying to connect to my car (2015 Peugeot 308). I'm able to type in a pin, but the "ok" button is grayed out. Is this a glitch? My other android phones paired with the car just fine. [link] [comments]
Debloating not working at all for me Posted: 23 Nov 2019 01:15 PM PST Hi, just got a new Mi 9T phone. Enabled USB debugging on my phone, downloaded the XiaomiADBFastbootTools.jar and installed Java but can't get this to open at all. What's the deal? How do you do this? [link] [comments]

Is some of the bloatware that comes with stock ROM actually usable? Posted: 23 Nov 2019 12:25 PM PST The title says it all. I got new device and I'm gonna run it to the ADB tool to uninstall bloatware. There are things that I don't ever plan to use like MiMusic, stock web browser,MiVideo etc. Some of those seem like privacy nightmare - why does notes app need access to contacts and permission to make phone calls? Also I'll be removing bunch of Google apps I never use. But I was wondering if there's anything in the stock ROM worth keeping? For example are those cleaning and optimization apps any good? Thanks in advance EDIT: Probably should specify that I have Global ROM. [link] [comments]

Redmi Note 8 pro users, can you post gcam samples? Posted: 23 Nov 2019 05:18 AM PST So there is a gcam port for rn8p on xda, but I have yet to see any samples. Would any one be kind enough to put some comparison shots? [link] [comments]
My Contact Names Have Disappeared When I Set Up Cloud Sync. Posted: 23 Nov 2019 12:45 PM PST On a Redmi 6, I finally decided to set up my Mi account and cloud sync, didn't have time to complete the cloud transfer. Now all my contacts are 'unknown contact'!! Anyone know what has happened and is it repairable? [link] [comments]
Device not supported in region Posted: 23 Nov 2019 12:07 AM PST Recently I bought a xiaomi 1080p camera and everything works fine. The connection to the camera and everything. However the only and Biggest problem is that when I try to view the camera, it shows that device is not supported in my region despite me changing the in app region to "Chinese mainland". I can see through the camera and everything, I just can't use the functions because of that "not supported in region" pop up notification. Model number is CMSXJ16A [link] [comments]
