For a awesome DooM experience on mobile with actual playable controls (why can't we customize them Bethesda?) use FREEDOOM! You can then insert your own custom doom wads. This is as close as possible to actual DOS doom.

[REQUEST]What is that game called? It is similar to The Battle Cats or Age of War.

    Posted: 30 Sep 2019 03:40 PM PDT

Hello, I'm looking for this game quite a while now, but I can't remember its name after 5/6 years of not playing it. It is a game in which you send out units to defeat your enemies, except instead of two bases, like in the examples, you control commanders who you can fight with. Those units can vary from simple swords and bowmen to ninja mages or dragons, while your commander can be (if unlocked) one of five (also sword/bow/cavalry or mages). After every battle you earn gold, which can be used to upgrade your units, commander or to get passive buffs for all commanders.

It has simple graphics and just as simple animations. It is nothing outstanding in that regard but still has a charm, in my opinion. The interface while fighting is also very basic; health/mana in the upper left corner, those of the enemy on the right, your available units in the lower left corner and your commander's attacks in the lower right.

If anyone has any idea what the game could be called I would really appreciate it if you would write it in the comments. Thank you in advance.

    Favorite horde mode/wave clearing game?

    Posted: 30 Sep 2019 10:02 AM PDT

Not really tower defense strategy, but an action game clearing out waves of enemies.
Ex.) Muffin Knight or Dungeon Defenders

Surprisingly fun for some reason, nothing super crazy. However, some recent balancing changes have upended the "meta" so to speak and I haven't been able to figure out what I should be doing now.

Googling for this game results in another, more well known game of similar name, and the developer website looks like they just publish a bunch of games for small developers.

    Posted: 30 Sep 2019 01:04 PM PDT

Hi guys/girls, I like pixel art games and the best one I came across was "Kingdom two lands". I was wondering if anyone has a favorite pixel art game or a recommendation for me or others who are interested :)

    looking for pre-alpha games

    Posted: 30 Sep 2019 12:58 PM PDT

Hi, I am looking for new games which have just released and are still being developed.

One of my favorite mobile games is Battle Legion (an PvP autobattler) and I'd love any new game with a similar gameplay.

I am also really fond of CCG's but I like to get in as early as possible since if you come later you lack a collection and the meta has already been figured out.

I know of all the Autochess games and similar clones and of Mythgard, but besides that I am open to all new games in these genres.

Hope someone can point me to a good game!

    [REQUEST] Gigantic X alternative?

    Posted: 30 Sep 2019 12:17 PM PDT

Looking for something similar since the game got shut down.

Preferably something similar in graphics and gameplay, no preference if online or off.

Single player preferred. Not looking for an FPS.

Xenowerks is the closest game I can find, but not quite what I'm looking for.

Games should tell you if they are landscape or portrait

    Posted: 30 Sep 2019 11:02 PM PDT

I am a small woman with small little hands. I absolutely loved the gem wars game but it's so horrible to play in landscape. My hands are constantly cramping from how uncomfortable landscape mode is. I don't understand why games don't tell you that they don't have a portrait mode or why they don't use portrait most often. As soon as I see a game is in landscape I usually just exit and unistall immediately.

    Looking for a specific game

    Posted: 30 Sep 2019 01:24 PM PDT

I've been looking for ages for this game I played around 2014-2015. It's similar to "Burrito Bison", but nearly identical to the browser game "Flight of the Hamsters". I also remember you play as a red monster/worm like creature... Does anyone have any idea?

Games that make you feel good

    Posted: 30 Sep 2019 04:39 AM PDT

I've only just started playing android games on my Note 9, but I'm already bored with depressing storylines/characters. Are there any games out there that have a good storyline and are uplifting?

[DEV] Idle Cookinator! A Restaurant Managing idle game

    Posted: 30 Sep 2019 10:09 AM PDT

    Hi, everyone!

It's the first time I'm actually talking about something I made on Reddit. Hahaha

Idle Cookinator is a game that started as a side-project. It's a restaurant managing idle game. After failing to work consistently on the game while also working full time, me and my artist partner decided to focus on creating our own games this year.

It's been out on Android for about 3 months now, but with this new update I decided to try and spread the word about it!

Hope some of you guys give it a try. And feel free to contact me here or on any other of our social media for feedback! :)

    Here 's the link!

    Cheers!

Best tabletop board game to app conversions?

    Posted: 30 Sep 2019 09:02 AM PDT

Hey all, so I've played a few mobile app versions of popular tabletop games - Ticket to Ride, Sentinels of the Multiverse, Pathfinder ACG, Talisman, just to name a few... but a couple of these really work best on a larger screen, like a tablet. Some, like Sentinels, actually play pretty well on the smaller screen of a cell phone.

What digital board game apps do you like to play? Which do you feel look/work best on smaller screens?

hey, I usually play games on my ps4 or PC,and I mostly play games like god of war, dark souls, sekiro, dragon's dogma that has amazing combat system, but for my new job i have to travel through bus which takes about an hour , so I'm looking for some mobile games that has good combat system, I've tried several games but all of them are just tap tap tap ,and you win that simple and filled with microtransections,to even progress i have to pay,are there some actually good games in the mobile platform??since i don't want to buy a Nintendo switch ,it costs quite a bit,$300+ i guess,so mobile is my only option,

[DEV] 3 Guns Dead - Weird West Card Battler in Early Access

    Posted: 30 Sep 2019 11:49 AM PDT

I've posted periodically about the card game I've been working on, Þrir. After hearing consistent feedback about the name being a problem, I decided to rework the theme and branding. So, I'd love your opinion on 3 Guns Dead, a tactical card battler set in the Weird West.

I just uploaded a video showing how the game currently looks--I'm still reworking card art, as well as my Play Store copy.

    Game trailer:
    https://youtu.be/Ey8zmplAr6k

If you go to my game's listing it still mostly reflects the old look, but I'll be updating that soon.

    Check out the game here:

    Thanks!

I'm looking for a game that features room customizing as a perk for "winning" or earning in-game money

    Posted: 30 Sep 2019 11:00 AM PDT

Preferably something that's a smaller/lighter than big games like Line Play. I currently play Stardew Valley but customizing rooms in its small pixel size feels a bit limited to me. I'd like to have a lot of options too.
