"Hi Bixby, play How You Like Me Now": I got the 2019 Notebook 9 Pro with 16GB of RAM and 512GB SSD, Galaxy Watch, Galaxy S10 5G, Galaxy Buds, and Galaxy Tab S4. I love my ecosystem. It works so well. Even with my Samsung Smart TV.

I've had my Galaxy Tab S4 since February and let me tell you something... I still can't get over how much I love this device and how nice the app experience has been on here! Samsung made an amazing tablet and I can't wait for my Galaxy Tab S6 to get here that I pre-ordered!

    Nice one.

Note 10+ Quick $150 credit question

    Posted: 29 Aug 2019 06:54 AM PDT

So my wife and I got our approvals for our $150 pre-order credit. Hers on her Samsung Shop and mine on my own phone. Is there any way to merge/transfer these so I can have $300 in one account so I can buy her a watch? Thanks in advance !

Do third party apps on a Samsung Smart TV collect user information if user is not signed into or using that app?

    Posted: 29 Aug 2019 05:05 AM PDT

The number of apps on my Smart TV was/is growing, presumably installed when updating the software. When I looked for instructions on how to delete them I found this link where it says: "Note: Some Preinstalled application cannot be removed (Delete option will be greyed out)."

I don't recall if this limitation was made clear at the outset or buried in the fine print related to a software update. That aside, my question is: Do apps have the ability to collect usage information unrelated to their own content? As was reported in the media regarding several mobile phone apps. However, any mobile phone app that you don't want - you get to delete very easily.

By limiting consumer ability to delete apps, seems to me Samsung should be guaranteeing that apps the consumer is not signed into or using are NOT collecting consumer information. Even if a consumer is using an app, say YouTubeTV, that app should only be able to collect and transmit info about your viewing history on that app/channel, not anything at all about say the ESPN app - or even that you are using the ESPN app.

On a practical basis if there is hack to get rid of these apps, would love pointers / how-to's. Any lawyer types in the house - is this something worth reporting to the state AG or consumer watchdog?

    A6+, buggy Do Not Disturb

    Posted: 29 Aug 2019 08:48 AM PDT

SM-A605FN, Pie with July security patch. Since the patch from last week if Do Not Disturb is on, any browser crashes if actual page contains a youtube video. It took me two reset, a firmware reflash with Odin to figure this out accidentally.

Other bug with this mode is from earlier: after set to Do Not Disturb, the flashlight won't turn on. This error occurs since Pie upgrade at least.

Wondering who made the code for Do Not Disturb.....

    The only way to go

    Posted: 28 Aug 2019 01:32 PM PDT

Got my note 10 on the 22nd. I've been having a hard time with battery drain, the culprit seems to be "android system". My phone has been off charge for almost 4 hours now and its already at 8% with only 33 minutes screen on time. Battery at 81%. This is not acceptable.

    Posted: 29 Aug 2019 08:07 AM PDT

I've tried resetting, clearing cache, disabling google backup and cleaning google play services. Nothing has helped. Any input is appreciated. I'd like to avoid exchanging here.

I was just listening to music until I got home when my Galaxy S8 suddenly went from 47% to 0%. I have only been using it for a year with no damages as I never dropped it without a drop protection case

Does anyone know what the imprint is on the bottom of the s10 back is? I have two phones and only one has this imprint.

So I mentioned in a comment that I use a pop socket.

    Posted: 29 Aug 2019 07:29 AM PDT

I recently replied to a comment in a galaxy note 10 sub, and mentioned that i use a pop socket.

I almost immediately started getting private messages calling me a woman or that i was homosexual.

Don't knock it until you try it. (the pop socket, not being gay, unless that's your thing, then have at it.)

I will never go back to having a phone without a pop socket. It adds far too much convenience, support and functionality as well as drastically reduces the chance of dropping your phone.

You don't have to get artsy girly colors or patterns. I first noticed when I left my phone at home one day and was using my wife's phone a lot, how useful the things were.

Ive had one on my S8+, S9+ and now for my note 10+
