Just want to give a huge credit to OnePlus to see where they came from and where they are now Posted: 30 Jun 2019 04:35 PM PDT I just found this beast back in my drawer and it still works flawlessly. It was my 1st proper smartphone after the galaxy S3 and it was sooo good. Now I'm writing this on my 5T which is also an amazing phone. I am about to buy the 7 Pro and i hope it will be just as good of an experience as these two. The fact that OnePlus also delivered a regular 7 for such an amazing price ot still reminds me of their roots left from the OnePlus one i still have. Just wanted to share my experience from OnePlus in this sub. These were my 2 cents, byeee [link] [comments]

Spigen Tough Armor case for OnePlus 7 Pro Posted: 30 Jun 2019 12:57 PM PDT Just received this case via Amazon for only $16 vs on their official site for $40. Just thought id say great case, feels good in the hands and has a very solid grip with one hand (lol) and great quality. Love the kickstand as well! Been using the clear case included in the box but decided I wanted something a little different. It's pretty light shockingly as well. Top speaker grill cutout is fine compared to the Rugged Armor one. [link] [comments]
How's the AMOLED burn-in for you? Posted: 30 Jun 2019 02:31 PM PDT I've got to be honest, I have never experienced any burn-in on my OnePlus 3T (going on 3 years old now), and it surprises me when some people say that burn-in is really bad for them or new buyers are worried about it. So I thought I'd make a thread for people to express their feelings about AMOLED, particularly people like me who usually don't speak up because they've had no issues. How's burn-in been for you, and how is it compared to what you expected? [link] [comments]
Just ordered the OP7P - what are the best cases available for it? Posted: 30 Jun 2019 03:44 PM PDT Hi everyone - TLDR is I bought the OP7P this morning and am looking for the best available case for it. I am coming from a OP3 with the Tudia merge case, which I like as my phone has suffered no damage during my many years with it. I've read countless reviews on websites, but I can't determine which sites are providing legitimate reviews and which sites are simply promoting sponsored cases. I am looking for a durable case with a lip to protect the front display, as I will not be used to the edge to edge glass. Additionally, I would prefer a sleek design without excessive design or flair. I really do value the robustness and protection offered by the case, so no thin flex cases please, but I would like to be able to place my phone in my pocket - so please no old-school Otterbox designs either. I was looking into the Spigen Tough Case - a Reddit comment from a few weeks ago stated it was coming out soon and the render on their website looked really nice. However, I did read reviews about other Spigen cases blocking the front camera. I don't take selfies often, but if I do take the rare selfie while on vacation and such, I would admittedly like a case that would also keep the front camera usable. I apologize if that is a lot of "asks" - I am hoping that by providing exactly what it is that I'm looking for, it will make it easier for someone to share their recommended case. I appreciate all of your time! TL;DR - I am looking for a case for my upcoming OP7P. My 3 priorities are: (1) durability/protection, (2) sizable lip to protect front screen, and (3) slim profile and minimal design, with an preferable 4th wish of not obstructing the front camera. Thanks! [link] [comments]

OP6: lost dash charge after latest ota? Posted: 30 Jun 2019 04:04 PM PDT So the other day I just did the latest beta full zip install like I normally do, ran my magisk script, and rebooted, like many times in the past. But this time it appears I lost dash charge, it'll charge normal method, 1.5Ah, but won't do dash. I removed magisk with no success, and reflashed the Rom from recovery, no effect. Now, I've not done a wipe yet, but I'm hoping somebody has seen this and may offer a solution before I ultimately wipe the device. I'm running beta 21 on the OP6, the latest canari version of magisk, and the xXx mod. This has been my going config since day 1 basically. All in all, I know a wipe is the next step, but I'm just hoping somebody can help my lazy ass out so I don't need to format. Cheers! [link] [comments]
[OP6] Best Official AOSP Rom: Omnirom vs LOS? Posted: 30 Jun 2019 11:02 AM PDT With the official release of LineageOS for the OnePlus 6, I've been trying to pick between the two. It's easy to see the massive community behind LOS and say that's the go to, but Omnirom offers some nice features with a very polished experience. Which ROM would you personally pick and why, and if not Omni/LOS why? I personally want to switch to MicroG so I may go for their LOS fork. [link] [comments]

Posted: 30 Jun 2019 12:06 PM PDT I'm coming from a Moto g5s plus. My phone just isn't good enough so I'm looking to get one of these OnePlus phone's. I'd like the 7 pro BUT I feel like the 6t is still a decent upgrade from my current phone. Since all of you have more experience with OnePlus more than I do which would you recommend? Edit: I ended up buying the 7 pro. Mainly for the display. [link] [comments]

Posted: 30 Jun 2019 06:49 PM PDT Ever since the Android pie update about 3 weeks ago I've been experiencing pretty bad performance from my phone. Overall it's slow and buggy, and the batter performance is even worse. The first few hours after the update it drained so quickly and charged (even using dash) really slowly. The past few days the battery was okay but still laggy. Today was awful, however; it started okay but I noticed the battery draining faster than usual so at about 50% I turned on battery saver. That seemed to do nothing. I tried not using my phone at all but because I'm traveling I needed to open Google maps to know where I am and where to go. Eventually I turned off my phone, and when I next tuned it on it was at 22% and within the minute I watched it go down to 19%, I expect that from iPhones but not from a phone that's lasted me this long with good, stable performance. I'm not sure if it's the age or the android pie update but I'm really disappointed. I'm probably going to get a 6t or a 7 pro soon. Does anyone have any similar experience? Or any explanation/fixes for my issues? [link] [comments]
OnePlus 7 Pro - N2O - bootloader lock Posted: 30 Jun 2019 06:44 PM PDT Hello, So I bought a OP7P in China. It had H2 OS and I needed to move it to a more western Oxygen OS. I followed a tutorial and got the Oxygen installed. The problem now is that apps like Netflix and Samsung wearable are not supported, and I read that is because the bootloader is unlocked. Is the oxygen OS a signed OS for this phone? Can I lock the bootloader without turning the phone into a brick? is there a workaround for these apps? Thanks guys. [link] [comments]
To people with Verizon prepaid: Posted: 30 Jun 2019 02:40 PM PDT I know to get the op6t, 7, 7 pro to work properly you have to call customer service and change your account to "CMDA-less". Does anyone know if you can do this, or reach that level of support with the prepaid accounts? [link] [comments]
Posted: 30 Jun 2019 09:04 AM PDT I noticed that my favorite lwps (pixel, motion) makes app drawer performance worse. It is had to notice, but if you use device every day and it is completely smooth, you don't want to compromise on that. Have you guys found any lwp not causing this little stuttering? Except original one offcourse. [link] [comments]

GCAM Mod for the 7 Pro - Can it use the tele/UW lenses? Posted: 30 Jun 2019 04:40 PM PDT Hi r/oneplus, I recently made the jump from an iPhone 7 to the OnePlus 7 Pro and I'm loving it so far. I installed the Google Camera mod because I like it better than the stock app, but I have not found a way to use the telephoto and ultrawide lenses in the Google Camera app. Is there something that can be done to enable this? Thanks! [link] [comments]
What's default in cast "Off" or "Not connected" ? Please help. Posted: 30 Jun 2019 10:40 AM PDT Actually I connected my phone to the 'connect' in Windows 10 using the cast on oxygen OS. Can you guys please see yours from settings > Bluetooth,NFC and cast > cast and say what's showing in there? [link] [comments]
Weird TWRP update behaviour on OnePlus 7 Pro Posted: 30 Jun 2019 12:43 PM PDT I have had some trouble updating my brothers OnePlus 7 Pro with TWRP. I start TWRP with slot B active, and then I first flash the Oxygen zip file from Oxygen updater, and then I flash TWRP installer, and then I flash Magisk. But when it attempts to reboot I get sent right back to TWRP, but now slot A is active! If I change back to B it can boot again, but the update isn't performed. It works fine with my own OnePlus 7 Pro, so I'm not really sure why I get this problem. Has anyone encountered the same problem? [link] [comments]
AnTuTu benchmark keeps lagging then crashing during the gpu tests on OP7 Pro Posted: 30 Jun 2019 04:25 PM PDT I have smurfkernel 1.9.1 and using xXxNoLimits Magisk ROM installed. I've tried changing the gpu overclock to higher and lower and restarting, this doesn't happen in games so I'm a bit confused. [link] [comments]
