    Disappointing.

    I heard from one of the Marketing directors from OnePlus Europe that they've already discussed this and it looks like the developers have directions from OnePlus to improve the general look of the picture with high processing, even if that means having a watercolor effect.

    ​

    So if they don't fixe it it's not because they can't , it's because they don't want.

    If sensors get better, they'll apply the same effect to images to look even better without zooming in. But it will be just an illusion, because they're "painting" the picture to make it look better.

    I purchased a brand new oneplus 3t off of ebay the other day to replace mine that was starting to fail. I didn't actually expect to get a new 3t because they've been out for so long, but I got surprised and the phone is actually brand new and exactly as described.

    The battery was completely dead after sitting on a shelf for so long, but after a charge the battery lasted all day and was at 73% when I got off of my 10 hour shift at work. I couldn't be happier.

    So I recently saw a post from one class on there Instagram account that promotes that the phone 1+7 has no bezels and no notch but also that it is not $2000. Which I think is a very bad strategy to sell your phone that is supposed to be cheaper than normal. Even iPhone is compared to that price is cheap and it's basically only the foldable phones that sells for that price. What the hell were they thinking knowing what Oneplus niche. Will there be $1000 price tag?

    Does OnePlus charge tax in the USA?

    I'm from Canada so I'm not 100% sure. They didn't charge it when I bought my 6t in the States, but I heard some stuff about new laws or something where OnePlus will have to charge tax in the US?

    Basically just wondering when the 7Pro goes on sale if there will be tax added onto the price or not

    How well has your Oneplus 5t been serving you?

    My phone has broken down now. Its the Asus Zenfone Selfie (based on the zenfone 2) which I bought new for about $150. So I'm now trying trying to pick a replacement.

    5t seems to be my best option now. I can buy one new for about $400 (128gb model) but I'm not sure I'd like to spend that much on a phone (just lost my job).

    How well does your 5t run today? I'd be willing to buy one if I know it will last.

    Google keyboard very laggy

    [6t]Gaming mode slows down Internet via VPN

    I am using Open VPN client for VPN on my phone and I was getting very high ping (800 ms) while playing a FPS game. This is not supposed to happen as I am using a Dedicated server for VPN and the ping I get on fast.com is very decent.

    I tried fiddling with settings and at one point I switched gaming mode off and voila! The ping immediately went to 90ms.

    Can someone explain what happened here and how I can I solve this. I really like gaming mode because of the notification and call not disturbing my game.

    Edit: I tried this with network boost switched off and on as well. Doesn't seem to affect the problem. My phone is just a month old.

    Severe data/service connectivity issues after Pie -- Want to downgrade back to Oreo

    Hi, so I posted about this maybe a month ago, and I am still experiencing issues. Pie has been awful for me. My screen is unnecessarily brighter than I'd like, night mode is awful that I had to install a third-party app that sucks and doesn't work half the time, my battery doesn't last as long, and most importantly my service completely cuts out randomly in places where I had perfect service before the update. I've tried all fixes and none of them work, I've reset my phone more times than I'd like to admit and at this point I am done. I want to downgrade back to Oreo because it was the best OS version for the OP5T in my opinion. However, I don't know how to. I also am not sure how this will affect apps and updates in the future, will I eventually have to upgrade back to pie? Thanks.
