An idea that we can hopefully pitch to HTC on Twitter Posted: 02 Apr 2019 03:32 AM PDT I've moved away from HTC some time back but I still use my M8 as a secondary device because it's just so good (except for news republic. I wish they go bankrupt). Think about this: A phone that looks like the M8/M7. Let there be bezels on top and bottom with boom sound front firing speakers, but no bezels on the sides. A normal lens and a wide angle at the back. The front top bezel gives enough room for a nice and secure face unlock feature. The power button on the side could have a fingerprint sensor. The sim tray has an option for expandable storage. AND the phone has a headphone jack. The phone could run on SD855 with sweet 6GB of RAM. Sense UI is light and 6GB is enough for it. It could come with 64/128 GB of internal storage. The back could be made of glass to allow wireless charging and the frame could be steel or aluminium. The back glass would mimic the shape of the M7/M8. I know the trend rn is bezel-less displays. But rn almost all phones have notches. This design would look better and appeal to many people because many android users remember the iconic HTC phones from the past. If you guys like it, we could pitch this idea to HTC and request them to make a concept model and release like a few limited edition phones (priced correctly, that is. If they make it too pricey then it's gonna be a huge flop). If it sells well, we could see HTC making a comeback. They could call it the fan edition. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 02 Apr 2019 03:04 AM PDT Hello everyone; I'm considering buying the htc M8, i'v found a new one in a store and despite the fact it's old; i only need it to navigate, play some old games and of course streaming. I'v also found an HTC U11 life in the same store for a bit more expensive price. Is it more interesting to go with the HTC U11 life (never tested it) or play it nostalgic and go with the old M8? Don't know what happened but was kind a cool Posted: 01 Apr 2019 04:39 PM PDT I grabbed my Usonic earphones and there was a bend in them for some odd reason. I black tapped it and I plugged them into my U12 Plus and every song I listened to, the vocals were completely gone. The music was still present, like it created a karaoke version of all the songs lol. I unplugged and replugged and it fixed it but it was kind of cool. Maybe the bend in the earphones?
