Looking for app: Remind me to do certain house chores every 2 weeks. Posted: 01 Jan 2019 10:31 AM PST Looking for an app to add some more structure to my life and keep me from being a bum when it comes to maintaining my own house. My ideal setup:
I would prefer a dark theme, standalone (doesn't rely on other apps), and offline (or at least the option to disable cloud syncing). [link] [comments] |
A photo editor that let's you cut, paste, and edit? Posted: 01 Jan 2019 07:51 AM PST I'm trying to make some signatures on a forum. Basically, cut out a person's body and paste it onto another image/background. Specifically, take a hockey player out of an image and post him into a different scene. I feel like any app I find either doesn't let you cut like that, or doesn't let you edit after you've cut. I would love for an app I can use to cut the player out and export it to my gallery so I can use it in Snapseed. [link] [comments] |
Icon Pack with legacy app icons? Posted: 01 Jan 2019 05:03 AM PST There are thousands of Icon Packs on the Play store, but I didn't found one, that fit my needs. I search for a pack with "legacy app icons" where the original shape of the icon is kept also for icons like Firefox, WhatsApp, AquaMail and more. I didn't want to use the adaptive style or that icons. Can anyone here help me please to find such a pack? Or how can i build such a pack myself? I have the needed icons in *.png format but i don't know how to build such a pack. I have installed but never used Android Studio before. There are some tutorials when i google for them, but they are all rather old. Most of the time i didn't found the linked templates anymore and the GUI looks completely different from the screenshots. So with this, i would also be happy to build my own pack, but i need a little advise how to do this as complete noob in that area. [link] [comments] |

Epub reader most like iBooks?? Posted: 01 Jan 2019 08:57 AM PST I've tried Aldiko but I miss the simplicity of iBooks! Therefore if anyone had got any recommendations I would be very grateful! [link] [comments] |
Is there a way to simply sync the clipboard between Android and Windows 10? Posted: 01 Jan 2019 05:04 AM PST AirDroid and Pushbullet are too much for my use. I found Clipbrd, but it works on the Windows site only with Chrome (I use Firefox). I'm searching for the most lightweight way to sync the clipboard of two android devices and a windows 10 machine, but I'm stuck. [link] [comments] |

App For Music/Podcasts With SD Support Posted: 01 Jan 2019 10:50 AM PST I use Music Player Pro to listen to podcasts because unlike some other music apps it will pick up where it left off after it's been closed rather than start the "song" over from the beginning. The issue I have is that it only finds files on the sd card that are in the dowload directory, so I have to move my downloaded files from the Chrome directory to the download directory. It also will only delete files from internal memory, not from SD. Is there a music app that will pick up where it left off after closing and also have decent sd support? [link] [comments] |
Mobile data track with a lot of customization Posted: 01 Jan 2019 11:42 AM PST I am looking for a free or paid app that let me track my mobile data but with a lot of customization. For example my data plan is 1GB/Month but some apps like Facebook, Spotify, Instagram has unlimited plan and does not count to that 1GB. Also a bonus if i could add a single app rule like Youtube in which i have 5GB of youtube and does not count to that 1GB until that 5GB rans out. This is a problem cause from today on if my 1GB rans out i can't use the apps that are "unlimited". Any app that can do this? Thanks. [link] [comments] |
Why is that I cannot see some messages on FB Messenger? Posted: 01 Jan 2019 07:20 AM PST I think many of you have discovered this new feature in Facebook Messenger, where you can reply to texts directly by just swiping on it, or similar. This feature is not working for me, but what is really bothering me, that I cannot even see the message for what the reply is coming, making the conversation a complete nonsense. Although I am using the latest version of Messenger, is it possible that the usual facebook rollout excluded only me in my friends circle? [link] [comments] |
App to track and correlate two (or more) variables over time Posted: 01 Jan 2019 02:14 AM PST I've tracked my weight (monthly) and the number of fitness related activities I've done over the last year, I'd love to see how that correlated in a visual form, and to add more detail (e.g. colour for the type of activity) . Does anybody know of an app like this? Thanks in advance and Happy New Year! EDIT: having this over a time period would be great. [link] [comments] |

Will I keep this game from the play store indefinitely? Posted: 01 Jan 2019 03:41 AM PST Today I saw an ad for an Android game and it linked to its play store page. The game was available for free today only and is normally 0.99. If I download the game and he uninstall it, would I be able to redownload at another point in the future when I'm ready to play it? I only downloaded it because I didn't want to miss out on the deal. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 31 Dec 2018 10:08 PM PST I have tried several FREE packs (listed on Play Store) and apart from Retrorika, none of them impress me to keep them, and eventually uninstalled all of those packs. Right now, I have Retrorika and its great! But , I am looking for more interesting icon packs that are colorfully crafted and stand out in design. Most of the packs are simply boring as they don't offer something exciting, or fresh icons set. Retrorika has everything that other packs have to offer. Are there any other icon packs that I should try? Yes, I don't mind paid apps since I have tried almost all the free packs. Please suggest me excellent icon packs for my phone. [link] [comments] |
SMS app with "tabs" to group messages by certain criteria (primarily sender)? Posted: 31 Dec 2018 03:17 PM PST I've been trying to find an app that does this, but haven't been able to find the right wording for Google yet. I'm a teacher, and a number of my students' parents like being contacted via text messages. However, this means my SMS message list is a mix of family, friends, and the aforementioned parents. Is there an app that will let me group my messages (perhaps in different tabs) by criteria I select? For example, one for texts from people in my contacts list, and one for texts from those who are not. Thanks for reading! [link] [comments] |

Anyone using Action Launcher getting a glitched messaging app icon? Posted: 01 Jan 2019 05:13 AM PST I'm on Action Launcher 3 and ever since the most recent update the messaging app icon on my homescreeen is showing some kind of badge. Whenever I long-press the icon to try to change it, the launcher crashes. Anyone else getting this kind of behavior? [link] [comments] |

How does Google Opinion Rewards affect Google Play Family Library? Posted: 31 Dec 2018 09:07 PM PST My brother and I have our own Google accounts with separate credits from the Opinion rewards app and have yet to set up a Google Play Family Library in which we would share our purchases on the Play Store. A few questions: 1) Will all the purchases we made until now be present in both of our libraries? Even if we used Reward credit for (almost) everything we bought? 2) Will it still be an option to pay for apps with our Rewards credit and not use the default credit card that is put in when signing up for the Family Library? If so - will apps bought with the Rewards credit let both of us have access to it? 3) Are there any notable downsides in doing the Family Library? I tried Googling these but most results come from 2016 when the family library was first implemented so I'm wondering if anything changed. Thanks in advance! [link] [comments] |
