[Dev] I created an app that lets you rate movies with other users. Built with love and React Native. Posted: 30 Jan 2019 04:43 AM PST Hey all! MovieRaters is a mobile application built with ReactNative (/r/reactnative), that lets you rate movies. You can rate either movies that other users have already rated, or you can search for new movies through a very optimized movie-search engine. Of course, it is completely free (and ad-free) 🙂. I intend to open source the code of the project soon. Have fun and let me know if you had any problems/bugs! [link] [comments] |
Posted: 30 Jan 2019 06:23 AM PST Sorry, I had a grammar mistake in the title. My friend told me they recommended her an app that lets you know where there are cheap tour guides (suggested donation) in Europe, but she doesn't remember the name. Thank you! [link] [comments] |
Posted: 30 Jan 2019 08:06 AM PST As the title said, I saw an app on xda news that showed a very neat app that connected to your google account and shows all your paid apps at a glance. It was so neat and i cannot recall the name now, please help [link] [comments] |
Posted: 30 Jan 2019 08:24 AM PST I have an app on my iPhone called Star Chart, and I want to know if there are better alternatives for Android when I make the switch, either paid or free but preferably free, and if possible it has to have an AR function that tells me what star I'm looking at, just like Star Chart does [link] [comments] |
Auto-wipe device after x amount of failed logon attempts Posted: 30 Jan 2019 11:20 AM PST As the title suggests, I want to automatically wipe a device after a definable amount of failed logon attempts. I cant understand why this is not a built-in feature as it poses a huge security risk. Any ideas would be appreciated. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 29 Jan 2019 08:23 PM PST Here's a screenshot. Even the video pop-up ads aren't blocked. Blokada works perfectly on almost all other apps I use. This, being an exception. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 30 Jan 2019 09:32 AM PST Lately I have been loving my Motorola G6 Play's software. Yes, its not the best processor and very limited RAM and ROM, but the software has made it very enjoyable for me. Idk what I would do without Moto Display now or Moto Gestures. This is my first experience with Moto Gestures and Display. Does anyone know if you can download these things on another android. I definitely need a more powerful phone soon. [link] [comments] |
Is anyone having trouble with Google podcasts? Posted: 30 Jan 2019 09:17 AM PST I downloaded it yesterday and since then it won't open. A window pops up and says it's having trouble opening. [link] [comments] |

Good all in one sports app for scores and news Posted: 30 Jan 2019 07:39 AM PST I used to use The Score for my news and scores until the app went to shit a year ago or whatever. I use Yahoo Sports now, but the news section is pretty lacking, and live updates aren't the best. Can anyone recommend something better? [link] [comments] |
Is there still no good Java emulators? Posted: 30 Jan 2019 07:34 AM PST Trying to run LateralGameMaker/ENIGMA on Android, found a few Java emulators but they all seem targeted towards first gen phone games and all return errors opening lateral game maker. Curious if I'm wasting time trying to run this executable JAR file or if there's a lesser known Java emulator that succeeds where all the ones that pop up on Google have failed [link] [comments] |
Posted: 30 Jan 2019 03:31 AM PST Hi, im wanting to create an app for an idea that I have had and was wondering if you guys had any tips and tricks that can help with all of this [link] [comments] |

Posted: 30 Jan 2019 06:02 AM PST Hi. I just switched from apple to android(iPhone6s to galaxys8) , and I'm having some issues with YouTube. Whenever I change the playback speed when watching a video on the app, the audio gets all warbely and sounds awful. This never happened on my old phone. Any tips? Thx [link] [comments] |
Posted: 30 Jan 2019 06:00 AM PST Reddit has a great way of making it's so that you can see the comment you are replying too well also seen the reply you are making. This way you can actually respond without having to memorize what they have said. Why is this not a thing and, or is there a solution? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 30 Jan 2019 05:59 AM PST I have been using Aviate since the beta was being given away on this sub. But I just got a new Nokia 7.1 and it won't load. Can you suggest another launcher that makes it easy to organize my apps. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 30 Jan 2019 05:49 AM PST Anyone got an alternative to Cloudbeats? Preferably open source? It must support .flac and I must be allowed to use nextCloud/owncloud or some other kind of free cloud storage. Not OneDrive or Dropbox etc. iOS seems to have dozens of these. Android doesn't really seem to have any. [link] [comments] |

Looking for an app which mutes all volume except incoming calls. Posted: 30 Jan 2019 01:34 AM PST Alright, I am sure this has been asked before, but given Android Pie's new volume control I feel this question is justified. I have tried several apps but none have been able to give me my preferred volume situation. Basically, the less sound the better without missing calls. I only want incoming calls to either vibrate or ring. Anyone who has good experiences with a third-party app to control this. And if so, how to do it? Any Video Editor That Works Like Apple Clips? Posted: 29 Jan 2019 07:55 PM PST I really enjoy making videos with my fiancé's Clips app on his iPhone SE. Is there any video editor that somehow works like Clips? [link] [comments] |
