| Plastic Spacer / Insulation on Dell Latitude 3150 DC jack Posted: 28 Nov 2018 05:47 AM PST I'm a teacher and the "tech guy" at a school. We have Dell 3150 Latitudes that are out of warranty. Recently a student removed the plastic spacer on five Dell Latitude 3150 DC jacks, threw them away and I can't recover them. I have talked with parts-people.com and their only solution is to buy a $34.95 DC jack for each laptop. Does anyone know where I can buy just the spacer? [link] [comments]  | ||
| Posted: 28 Nov 2018 11:19 AM PST Earlier today my phone started getting quite hot in my pocket, so I took it out and it was off. Thinking nothing of it I tried to turn it back on, nothing. Got into recovery mode after I let it cool a bit and started a boot from there and it worked...then got stuck on the boot screen. Tried going into recovery mode again, but the screen just shut off and nothing happened. It can charge, but the little green LED that tells you it's still alive is not blinking, the only way I can see it is charging is using a power bank that shows the mA output. | Apps on the iphone 5s keep crashing. How do I make this older iphone stable? Posted: 27 Nov 2018 07:25 PM PST So this is a new phone to me I bought it used from a reseller. There are no apps on it currently other than the apple apps that are baked into the older IOS versions (9.1 in my case now.) it is the 16 gb version and there are 11 GB capacity that is free (available) on it so space shouldn't be an issue. I'm guessing because the model of the phone is so old it runs out of RAM or CPU cycles to run the programs. The thing is I have a iphone 4 (non-S) as well that can run the same apps (whatsapp and spotify) albeit slowly, but as soon as I open them on the 5s the app will ask me to log in and then crashes. What are some settings I can disable or could I force a different IOS version that still plays nicely with the app store that will make things more stable on this phone? as of now its completely useless to me as all i wanted to use it for was chatting applications [link] [comments]  | ||
