- [OnePlus 3t] USB-c cable barely stays in, needs to be jiggled and jently set down to charge....some cables don't charge it all. Any advice?

Police have the info but I'm skeptical anything will turn up. Enjoy your 6Ts for me! | My OP 6T just froze and then called 911. Posted: 29 Nov 2018 08:29 AM PST I was using the flashlight for a couple of minutes. When I went to turn it off from the drag down menu it was showing I was pushing the button but it wouldn't actually turn off the flashlight. I pushed several more times and it turned off but it totally froze my UI. I pushed the power button on the side to turn the screen off. I tired turning it back on but was getting no response. I put the phone in my pocket and walked back to my desk, pulled my phone out and saw it was making an SOS call. The UI was still being frozen so I couldn't stop it. Eventually the phone app crashed and the call dropped. I got a call back from the sheriff's department almost immediately and they seemed really annoyed but accepted my explanation of what happened. Has anyone else had issues with this phone freezing like that? It's the second time my 6T has froze like that and I've had it happen on other android devices, but this is the first time I had anything happen with an SOS call. [link] [comments]  | ||

Seems to have a permanent noise cancellation/gain filter on, so anything like concerts, snapchat recordings and so on sound absolutely terrible. It was like it was only made for phone calls. When I wake the screen I get them all at once. I have to be on call for my job at night so missing phone calls is problematic. If anyone has any ideas or solutions I'd be grateful. Google photos keeps notifying me that there are new folders called 'land', 'port' and '1' being created (in case I wanna back them up). This is strange because all the apps I have are the ones that were on my old phone (3T). | Posted: 29 Nov 2018 03:54 PM PST I've been using the 6T since release and honestly I've been a fan of the in-display fingerprint sensor for most of the time. But lately I'm noticing an annoying inconsistency when it comes to unlocking the phone. I've been using every trick (like registering the same finger twice, in a dark room/avoiding bright light when registering) but I feel like the AI managing the detection of the fingerprint gets worse day by day. I've even tested it multiple times.. unlocked the phone, locked it again, tried to unlock again - detection failed. This happened multiple times. Being honest I wish they would have kept the speed from. the release.. I feel the detection rate has suffered form the increased speed. [link] [comments]  | ||
