Posted: 28 Nov 2018 05:15 AM PST [op6] so last night I noticed switching the notification slider, getting messages or turning tap vibration on no longer does the vibration patterns. I know the function still sort of works as on reboot it will still dot he single buzz. [link] [comments]
Posted: 28 Nov 2018 12:02 PM PST I've been a one plus fan since I bought the opo about four years ago, never had a problem with it. It's always been a great phone. I made the upgrade to the one plus 6 the day it was release as I fancied an upgrade. The opo was starting to show signs of its age after many years of heavy use. On Saturday I dropped my 6 ish month old op6, very very hard :'( it was in the carbon case, and neither the case not the glass broke, but later on I noticed a small blue smudge in the top right, like pixels were dying. This slowly turned into a big blue smudge and eventually it spread everywhere my phone was unusable. I was pretty upset, but I opened a service request for it to be repaired on Saturday night, packaged it up and dropped it off at a UPS collection point on Sunday ready to be collected Monday afternoon. By Tuesday morning it was already at the service centre in Poland, and today (Wednesday) I received an email saying it has been repaired and is on its way back to me. The best part.. it didn't cost me a thing! Not much point to this post, just want to say how much I appreciate one plus, great phones (no phone would have survived this drop) and great customer service! [link] [comments]
Lightning Purple 6T No Longer for Sale? Posted: 28 Nov 2018 11:41 AM PST I've been looking to pick up the Lightning Purple 6T for a while now, and I think I'm finally ready to pull the trigger. When I went on the website yesterday to purchase one, they were out of stock. When I went online today, the Lightning Purple model is nowhere to be found on the website. Was the color a limited time only thing? [link] [comments]
Recent Apps With Navigation Gestures Posted: 28 Nov 2018 02:38 PM PST So theoretically, the swipe up and to the right gesture is supposed to open up the last app we used right? Let's test that. If u clear all the apps and only open three of them, apps that everyone has: settings, clock, and Reddit. If you open them in that order and go home, shouldn't the swipe up and to the right gesture open Reddit? That was the last app that was open. Instead it opens up the clock app which was second to last. I really want to use gestures but this drives me crazy. It works correctly with the traditional "back, home, recent" button navigation. Double tapping recent would open up Reddit. Has anyone else come across this and is there any solution? [link] [comments]
Posted: 28 Nov 2018 10:08 AM PST So I'm now seeing that the OP6 is supported on Google's Fi service: https://fi.google.com/compatibility I wanted to ask here, if anyone knows if the network switching between T-Mobile, Sprint, and US Cellular is possible with this phone on Fi. I'm currently using Mint Mobile, which works on top of T-Mobile's network, and run into dead zones in my area. The network switching may fix the dead zones, if it works. EDIT: The answer is no. Thanks to everyone that replied! Looks like I'm sticking with Mint Mobile. [link] [comments]
Anyone switched from Galaxy S9 to OnePlus 6 or 6T? Posted: 28 Nov 2018 12:04 PM PST Hi guys. I am a big "smartphone geek" and I change my smartphone every 6-7 months. I used Samsung, Iphone, LG and Huawei phones but I never had a OnePlus device. I want to switch from my Galaxy S9 to OnePlus 6 or 6T. Did anyone here made a switch from Iphone/Samsung device to OnePlus? [link] [comments]
Posted: 28 Nov 2018 12:33 PM PST Has anyone else only been able to get H+ speeds and not 4G/LTE speeds on at&t? I've been to a store and over the phone tech support and nobody has any solutions. [link] [comments]
Posted: 28 Nov 2018 06:50 AM PST So the other day I forgot my wallet and was able to use apple pay. I haven't used an Android in a long time and was wondering if the Google pay thing works everywhere that they have apple pay like at Starbucks etc. [link] [comments]
If you need to know what case to buy for your 6t Posted: 28 Nov 2018 03:54 PM PST Get the Sandstone protective case. I tried the Nylon Bumper, the standard silicone case, And the Spigen Liquid Air and the Sandstone feels amazing compared to all of those. The Nylon is slippery but is a nice case if you need more bulk. [link] [comments]
Oneplus 6 saving ads and other videos i watch Posted: 28 Nov 2018 07:18 PM PST For whatever reason my phone saves every ad I watch and some videos I see on Reddit. How do I stop this? [link] [comments]

Posted: 28 Nov 2018 03:08 AM PST I just upgraded from OP3 to OP6t and I am so disappointing that they still haven't fixed the issue with the microphone when recording at high volumes. I understand this is kind of a budget phone in a way, but seriously? 3 years later recording still sounds like sh!t at concerts and other loud venues. At least provide a tool to reduce mic sensitivity, i prefer to have a quite recording than my videos sounding like i just unloaded all my cutlery into the washing machine. Very disappointed :( [link] [comments]
Fingerprint Unlock option no longer appears Posted: 28 Nov 2018 06:11 PM PST My phone restarted, and as I expected, I couldn't unlock with fingerprint. I locked the screen after, and the option didn't show up. I went into settings and, the option is completely gone. Anyone else had this issue? [link] [comments]
OP - PLEASE fix the HDR processing on the OP6! Posted: 28 Nov 2018 08:23 AM PST The HDR masks are so bad for transitioning between exposures. Look at the Nexus 5X for excellent examples of HDR processing. They did it so well that it acts as noise reduction as well due to how they layer the exposures, which cancels out the random signal noise. I don't see this happening in the OP6, maybe because their default noise reduction is so ridiculously over the top that all detail is smeared away. On the bright side, the built in photo editor's shadows adjustment is done very well with a good masking range and very soft edges. So you can just under expose a non-hdr photo a bit to protect highlights, then use the shadows adjustment to lift them back to where you want them. Too much work though. Just fix the built in HDR! Posted: 28 Nov 2018 06:06 PM PST Just got my phone and I am setting it up. Had to speak with verizon a couple times as the first rep didn't understand my request, but luckily everything is setup and good to go. I did notice one thing though about the 2 downward firing speakers... When I play audio and cover up the speaker closest to the volume up/down side the audio is obviously quieter because I am blocking the one speaker, but when I cover up the one closest to the power controls on the right I don't seem to notice any change. It sounds like no audio is coming out of the right speaker or is that suppose to be like that? It sounds really loud so I am assuming that the other speaker handles a different noise level or something? [link] [comments]
One Plus 6t Screen protector that comes with it any good Posted: 28 Nov 2018 05:39 PM PST I notice it says in the box is a preapplied screen protector?!? I read the post a few posts down about the new one. [link] [comments]
Oneplus 6 Volume changing when there's bass in songs. Posted: 28 Nov 2018 06:19 AM PST As the title says, when i play music via bluetooth the volume lowers as soon as there's any bass in the song. I've tried turning off Absolute-bluetooth volume, which have done nothing for me in this case. Has anyone had this problem before and found a solution? Thanks! [link] [comments]
Posted: 28 Nov 2018 01:27 PM PST So i blocked my notifications from snapchat , but every time i get a snap the screen just lights up , and its really annoying . how can i fix it? [link] [comments]

Gcam 1.2 - captured image is softer than screen preview Posted: 28 Nov 2018 04:28 PM PST Maybe it's just the amount of sharpening they chose not to apply, but when zooming in to look at detail, the image is not as crisp as the on screen preview before then pic is taken. Not as sharpened as the stock camera app results for sure, but they are over sharpened anyway. It's fine, I'd rather have it less sharpened than over sharpened because I can mess with it in post, but I'm just a bit surprised. Anyone else notice this? [link] [comments]
Posted: 28 Nov 2018 04:22 PM PST I just read a YouTube comment that said if you register your finger in the dark it will work better because their is no light interference.. I literally just got my phone delievered, but was wondering if this is true. Anybody know? [link] [comments]
Posted: 28 Nov 2018 04:13 PM PST Is it just me or are the notification volume and the media volume (videos, music, and such) in Android P linked? I don't know why people would want that but I do not. And maybe I am doing something wrong. I've tried googling and searching majisk modules but no luck on unblinking the two. Any suggestions? [link] [comments]
Buying OnePlus 6T in Canada or USA - which makes more sense? Posted: 28 Nov 2018 04:04 PM PST I live in Canada right now with a Moto G5+. Going to Mexico City Dec 25-January 1 so I kind of want a good phone camera, not a huge dealbreaker though. I'll be in California 8 out of the 12 months next year starting January. After student discount and tax, the OnePlus 6T costs $772.92 CAD. In California, it'll cost me $783.38 CAD after conversions. Does it just make more sense to buy the 6T here in Canada or am I missing something? [link] [comments] |
