HTC U11 constantly fails Android 8.0 Oreo software update at 24% Posted: 28 Nov 2018 12:19 PM PST My U11 is currently stuck on Android 7.1.1. I get the upgrade notification, it's software update number 2.33.401.10 and includes Android 8.0 and some system optimizations. Downloading the update is also no problem but once I start it it'll only get up to 24% of progress before showing me the "red triangle/exclamation mark-error sign" and reeboting without the update installed. Have any of you experienced a similar issue, is there a fix and is it even that necessary to update? Thanks in advance. submitted by /u/Slashycent [link] [comments]
