What’s a good laptop for editing videos and montages? Posted: 31 Aug 2018 11:52 PM PDT I've been looking for a good laptop for under 3,000$ with warranty and tax included. Can't use Newegg or amazon so Best Buy will have to do... I know I said Best Buy. But any way please help me! Much love and thanks!!! :-) [link] [comments]
Monitor goes to sleep when playing a game Posted: 31 Aug 2018 11:19 PM PDT Hello, I don't know much about computers so sorry if this isn't enough info, but every time I start up any game my monitor will go to sleep after a few minutes and I need to restart my computer to fix it. Sometimes it takes a few restarts. The computer still works and everything else including sound is fine, but there's nothing on the monitor. I don't think it's a problem with the monitor as I have tried using another monitor and it's the same problem. It's an Alienware X51 R2 Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770 CPU @ 3.40 GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.4 GHz 8192 MB RAM Please tell me if there is any additional info and how I can find it. Thank you. Posted: 31 Aug 2018 09:29 PM PDT Just built my computer, and I unplugged it to do some work on it. When I plugged it back in, the DisplayPort wasn't working. I tried moving it around between the DisplayPorts on the card, but still no luck. It turned out that the fan would just stop spinning around 30 seconds in. After that I tried unplugging the card, but because it was still in the pc, just no PCIE, it started spinning very fast. I tried the HDMI on the motherboard and still nothing is working. Please help. Trying to wipe Windows Vista laptop, MBRInst not working Posted: 31 Aug 2018 09:01 PM PDT As stated above. I know nothing about computers and less about windows. The laptop is several years old and I want to wipe it so I can donate it/give it away but am unable to system restore. Don't have the disks anymore (old computer). Is there anyway to wipe with the mbrisnt error or should I just fry the had drive and toss it? [link] [comments]
Posted: 31 Aug 2018 03:35 PM PDT Hey all. I forgot my pin, and tried to reset it through Google's "find your phone" website. However, whenever I try to do that, it says that it's "trying to contact your phone..." It's been doing that for half an hour. My phone has full bars of LTE and WiFi, so it's not an internet issue. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Thanks for any help! [link] [comments] |
