- Way to go @samsungus ! I sent my phone in because it sparked while plugged in, the power cord melted and it smoked and THIS is what the service email says? That it was warm while charging? Absolutely incredible! It also says nowhere in this that it constantly dropped service after it SPARKED

But here comes the twisted thing, after leaving in my cellar for weeks, i just tried my luck again and it switched on for 5 minutes. Any clue what the issue could be ? Posted: 30 Aug 2018 05:02 PM PDT Pure stock android used to be a great thing but Samsung has taken strides in growing its UI/UX from touchwiz. I'd argue it is feature packed enough and more gorgeous thematically than stock. Android P(ie) brings great new AI services but its use of whitespace and solid colors doesnt jive with me and it feels like its built for child/toy phones. [link] [comments]  | ||

After looking it up I think I left it on high brightness for too long while grinding. Still surprised since I only got this phone in April so 4/5 months. How can I fix this? And how can I prevent it? | Couple problems with new note 9 looking for solution. Posted: 31 Aug 2018 07:54 AM PDT I got a note9 a few days ago and I noticed a couple problems with it. Wondering if these are normal and how to fix. First whenever I open any sort of camera app the actual camera in the phone clicks twice. It's quiet but very noticeable. Second I get random pop-ups that I believe might be tips that go away pretty fast after popping up. Too fast to read them. I get them when just browsing the phone normally. Not often but often enough to be annoying. Third browsing the phone leads to random vibrations or an odd quiet noise when opening things or navigating multiple apps. All vibration and sound settings are off and even does it while phone is on silent. Thank you for any help. [link] [comments]  | ||
| Recommended glass screen protector brands? Posted: 30 Aug 2018 10:54 PM PDT I got my glass screen protector for my S9 really cheap on Amazon and it sucks. Only half the taps register on the screen and when I turn on the "enhancement" for bad screen protectors setting it registers taps when my finger gets too close (and still doesn't register some taps). Would a more expensive (better made) screen protector work better? If so, does anyone have any brand recommendations? [link] [comments]  | ||

I guess good thing is that you don't get carrier bloatware, but recently if i put carrier sim card, it automatically starts to install carrier apps. I read some articles that unlocked version tend to get slower software updates and not able to use wifi calling or advanced calling features. I am on verizon gudp and heard hotspot works verywell on unlocked without any trick. Verizon version seems to be factory unlocked too. Is there really benefit of buying unlocked version? So I've never experienced this before but on my Galaxy S9, when viewing Instagram stories, the photo tends to go outside the screen. Like this or this. Happens with basically every photo. Now I'm by no means an Instagram junkie or anything, so it's not the end of the world, but I'd still like to see know if there is a solution as it looks terrible. I tried 2 different cables and 2 different power bricks all samsung brand and even tried charging in safe mode but nothing has worked. Obviously i can jusy start charging in my car or with my computer however that is quite a large inconvenience that i would like to avoid if i can. So if anyone has any solutions please help! If I take advantage of the BOGO deal (I know they give this through device credits, not upfront) do both phones have to be active on the Verizon network? It requires opening a new line, which I would be doing coming from Fi to Verizon, but I'm wanting to give my little brother the other free Note 9 for use on his service at ATT. I would pay for both phones fully up front and then get the device credits off of my line at Verizon over 24 months. Is this possible? [link] [comments]  | ||
