Found this possible Malware device on my network, how do I remove it? Posted: 28 Aug 2018 08:49 AM PDT Hi I went on my network section of windows explorer and saw there is a connected device called IloVMwarePraha (You can see a screenshot here https://ibb.co/kOSq09) Avira Anitvirus shows no malware when I do a scan and the only options when I right click the device is view device webpage (which google blocks) and properties. What can I do to get rid of this? Thanks Specs are: Windows 10 Home Version 10.017134 Build 17134 Dell Inspiron x64 based PC Intel Core i5 Processor [link] [comments] |
Getting different BSODs, most likely driver failure/corruption. What do I do? Posted: 27 Aug 2018 10:37 PM PDT Hi, I just built a new pc. I did tests to rule out hard ware issues. I came to this subreddit yesterday only to be told that I need to do memory tests which didn't help, and now my problem is worse. I believe there is corruption in the files, here is the minidump: Dropbox for minidump. I am trying to get all the help I can, because this is driving me crazy. I believe it is most likely ntoskrnl.exe or ntkrnlmp.exe causing the issue. I also noticed that sometimes drivers will stop (I think) such as the mouse and keyboard will stop, google chrome will crash, and wifi disconnect. Thanks in advance for all the help, I really appreciate it. [link] [comments] |
