I then have to press on the menu button and select the option to open the page in my full browser. Is there any way to disable this annoying feature? [link] [comments]  |

Since you clicked here I guess you are willing to help with my particular curiosity. I have loads of music that I own and curate for my moods or for specific friends/family. I had iPhone for years and on it there was iTunes. So easy to make playlists and sync or make one on the fly with the app. Now, I'm confused. I need an app. (pref. Free, but if the price and quality are right I can budge) that doesn't need to stream audio, just play it back and also allow me to make a playlist in the app. Some decent EQ commands would be nice. Unfortunately, it didn't transfer any of the Whatsapp chat history. I already logged into Whatsapp on my new phone, so it won't let me access it again on my old phone without verifying, which I can no longer do. | Posted: 25 Jul 2018 11:26 AM PDT This is my Grandmother's phone i don't know what triggered this issue and i'm for a solution. here is a short clip of the issue. Basically when she receives calls there are two different screens show up for each different call. One is normal and works fine, the other (the one in the clip above) is broken, even if you accept the call the phone keeps ringing and nothing happens. Posted: 25 Jul 2018 09:24 PM PDT I currently have been using an iPhone for the past 6 years and am going to be giving an Android phone a try soon to see if I want to switch. On Chrome for iOS there is a flag you can enable to have just the URL bar at the top, and everything else at the bottom. | Please help- Android phone and WiFi having Authentication Error! Posted: 25 Jul 2018 08:20 PM PDT Hello r/AndroidQuestion Redditors I have been having the following problem for the past 2 weeks. Whenever I try to connect to my home network's WiFi even though I am 1 million percent sure I have entered the correct password it just does not connect at all or it says that an authentication error occurred. There is something weird going on with my WiFi ever since I switched to a Low-Speed option that my ISP offers (I use a Canadian ISP called Rogers - but Americans and others who want to answer please feel free to I am willing to do ANYTHING to fix this) . I have 1 router...however there are '2 WiFi networks' for me to connect to. I can connect to the one with weaker reception or the one with greater reception. I have noticed no difference in each except that the one with weaker reception disconnects more often. The solutions I have tried to fix this problem are: do a complete factory reset on my phone , reset my router by pressing and holding the button on the back for 10 seconds (I did this twice), going into then out of airplane mode, connecting to both networks using a Static connection rather than a DHCP connection, resetting network settings on my phone, pressing the WPS push button to connect to my phone, entering the WPS PIN. None of these worked at all. The specs for my phone are the following: It is a Samsung Galaxy Neo S5 , Model Number : SM-G903W, Android Version: 7.0, Samsung Experience version: 8.1, Baseband Version : G903WVLU1CQI1 Kernel Version: 3.10.61-12264375, dpi@SWDD6113#1 , Tue Sep 12 13:26:08 KST 2017 Build Number: NRD90M. | Changing USB mode without a screen Posted: 25 Jul 2018 07:40 AM PDT Hello fellow android users, my sister recently dropped her samsung s4 mini and somehow managed to not only shatter its screen, but completely destroy it. Now the phone turns on but you just cannot operate it without a screen, and theres still data on it (mainly whatsapp backup-files, because cloud storage was not a thing for her). Problem is, the phone connects as a media device without access to its internal data and i can't switch to 'use as storage device' because that needs to be done on the smartphone. Samsung kies did not work, smart switch did not work, a mouse over usb-otg did not work and even changing the screen with a similiar but older s4 mini didn't do it because of broken touch functionality. Can someone help me? I feel really stupid. Seems like there has to be some super easy solution to this but i just cannot find it. [link] [comments]  |
| Which is the most power efficient: SD 636, 660 or 710? Posted: 25 Jul 2018 08:00 PM PDT This really confuses me, the Snapdragon naming are not as straight forward as Intel's. Because I can't seem to find the TDP figure for each processor. I'm currently in the market to upgrade my SD 625 powered Mi Max 2. All things considered, power efficiency is on my top of the list. I dont care about the raw speed, gaming performance, or any bells and whistles about camera, AI and whatnot. If the 14nm SD636 is more efficient than the 10nm SD710, then I would be happy to buy Mi Max 3 straight away, rather than waiting for the rumored Mi Max 3 Pro. From my understanding, SD660 is a slightly overcloced SD636 with better GPU? [link] [comments]  |
| P beta issues with Instagram and Facebook Posted: 25 Jul 2018 11:10 AM PDT I've been using P beta for a while and haven't had many issues but recently I've noticed a bug with the volume on P with Instagram. If you hit the volume rocker, the volume menu slides in from the right but it defaults to ring volume rather than media (which is odd since ring volume doesn't even pop up in that menu at any other point to my knowledge). An old one that has a bunch of contacts (Call it a family one if you will) and one for myself. The family one has all my Google Play store apps, and the personal one is supposed to have all my personal contacts. How can I have the family one be connected, without it showing its contacts? The facebook messenger app has recently started displaying a notification reading "Chat heads active" that will stay pinned whenever a chat head is overlayed. Obviously it's annoying but only started happening today and I've no idea if its a new update or what but I just can't seem to get rid of it while i have a chat head on the screen. | I need your help setting up way to record calls! Posted: 25 Jul 2018 04:54 AM PDT Hi all, I am notbsure if this is right place to post this, or if it is even possible, but I need your help setting up a way for me to automatically record phone calls every time I get on the phone with my mother. Here is why. She was diagnosed with cancer and has now progresses to the terminal stage. Her prognosis is uncertain but she could potentially deteriorate rather quickly in the next 6 months. I had hoped this day would be a few years away, but alas it's come sooner than expected, and much sooner than I'm prepared for. For my job, I was forced to move across the country last month, and I speak with her on the phone 2-3 times daily and video chat a couple of times a week. I want to start recording our phone conversations so that I can have hear her for years to come. She gives me a ton of advice on everything from daily struggles, and her recepies, to more broad things like marriage and financial guidance. She has been doing that more and more as she realizes her time is coming to an end. I have talked about recording out conversations and she welcomed the idea. I am looking for a way to have my phone automatically start recording our phone conversations every time. I have messed around with Tasker, but never really figured out how to use it properly. If possible I would like to do the same with our video chats on Facebook messenger. Any thoughts about how to go about this would be very much appreciated. I am using a Note 8. Thanks in advance.
