    What to do with an S7 w/ dead display

    Hello! Looking for ideas to repurpose a spare S7e limping along with a cracked display. Don't really want to spend $300 for a new panel and glass when it's only worth about half that.

    Assumed there was a way to connect it to an external LCD and mouse via the USB port but it looks like the HDMI adapter isn't compatible with Galaxy 7's. Thoughts?

    Greetings to all I have a A5(2017) model SM-A20F just gotten the android 8.0 update and I have some few questions regarding the update. It is known that some updates causes issues 1.     Anyone else having S7 notification badge issues with Oreo update?

    I get the whole 'swiping' away removes badges thing - which is a HORRIBLE new "feature", and when checking email I don't want the badge to go away - I want it to remain and tell me how many more unread emails I have. And today I discovered that it's not even showing badges or notifications on new text messages (I'm on Verizon and use Message+). Yes, I've checked all of the settings and both notifications and badges are turned ON. I had several text messages that I didn't know had been received because, well, no notification or badge - and one of the texts was pretty important. The only way I know if I've received texts is to keep checking the app or just leave it open on my screen. I am not happy.

    Setting up Wirless headphones on TV

    Hi, I recently purchased a new Samsung Tv https://www.samsung.com/au/tvs/uhdtv-nu7100/UA49NU7100WXXY/ And I am trying to figure out the best way to get a pair of wireless headphones connected.

    Tv does not appear to have Bluetooth, so im probably looking at an adaptor. Has anyone had any success in connecting wireless headphones to a non Bluetooth tv?

    What would be the best way to do so?

    Galaxy S8 trouble displaying dark colors?

    My new S8 has difficulty displaying dark colors. Part of the image suddenly becomes grainy and almost pixelated on an otherwise great display. Does anybody know why this is occurring? Thank you in advance.

    Hello, I have a promo code that works on the Samsung website that will allow you to purchase Gear Icon X 2018 headphones, fast wireless charger, and gear VR (2018) for just $100. Im a little sad that they sent me the code way after I bought my S9 and I purchased these items separately from ebay (except the gear VR) since it seemed like they wouldn't send me a code. Now that the code is useless to me, I figured I'd try to sell it. Was wondering if u guys had any suggestions where/how much I could sell it for without seeming unreasonable. Thanks!

    Gesture?

    Is there any gesture feature software update in the future just like iPhone X, OnePlus 6? The infinity display from S8, S8+, Note 8, S9 and S9+ would be beautiful if there has a gesture feature from Samsung. Shame on Samsung not implemented it yet. Even OnePlus 5T has a gesture feature.

    Damage back cover voids warranty?

    So my phone decided to die on me, won't charge either wired or wirelessly. I contacted Samsung and let them know what happened, they checked my account and told me I'm still under warranty and to send the phone in, I won't be charge due to the warranty. I get an email later saying the repair cost has been changed and would cost me a total of $636.51. That covers Std. Repair fee, LCD repair and PBA (searched online and looks to be the motherboard). How does a back cover voids warranty when the issue looks to be the motherboard since it needs to be replaced?

    Edit: Idk if it matters but the phone is a galaxy S8

    LED TV random static noise help

    Noticed a loud random static noise coming from tv. Noticed when watching a movie on laptop via hdmi. Tried two different HDMI cables / ports and it is not the movie itself as I tried it on the laptop without problems. Any suggestions?

    Galaxy s9 orange screen bug

    My Samsung Galaxy s9 has this extreamly annoying bug where the screen has an orange tint and no matter what I cannot get rid of it. I have tried everything, the blue light filter is NOT on and I have messed with the display setting to no avail. Just yesterday I updated the software and it briefly fixed the problem, I was genuinely happy that the issue had been solved. Just about five minutes ago I was in the middle of reading an article online and out of the blue it turned orange again! This issue has really been bothering me and it has affected me since the first day I got it. I think it may be due to the fact that I backed up all my stuff from my oneplus 3t which at the time had the blue light filter on. I even tried turning the filter off on the old phone but that didn't work either. Some help would greatly be appreciated.

    Hi, I hope this is the right place to post!

    I bought an unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note 4 earlier this year, it seems to originally have been an At&t phone. I have T-mobile. It picks up the network but often loses it so my phone quality can get really really bad even though I should be having service. When someone calls sometimes it will come through, but most of the time I just get a voicemail and it doesn't ring at all. It also takes a long time to start a call when I am dialing out.

    I took my phone to the T-mobile store today because I was hoping it was the sim card, I got a new sim card but the issues are still there so it's definitely the phone. I really love the phone, is there anything I can do to fix this? I can send and receive texts and use the wifi, but this issue makes things really tough for me!

    Galaxy A3 (2018)?

    Does anyone know why a new A3 has not been released?

    My girlfriend is using the 2016 model, and is very happy with it, but we look at getting her a new model. She would like an A3 because of its small size compared with other phones. The 2017 model is more than 1 year old, and without a new A3, there is really no good options for her.

    Any ideas?

    Very old Samsung mp3 player stuck in boot loop

    I know my chances are 0, but I still want to try.

    I've got a mp3 player: Samsung YP-T9J. It's 11-12 years old. Until today it worked without any problems. Then while at the gym it started to behave crazy, the sound got all weird (which returned to normal) and when I turned it off, it turned right back on.

    That's where Im at. The mp3 player keeps turning on (if off), if it's on it stays like this (autmatic turn off function after xx minutes results in it turning itself on again). When I turn it off and activate "Hold", the display will show "Hold" every few seconds, like the player tries to boot.

    I've tried to reset, format and reupload the current firmware. Nothing changed.

    Does anyone know something or has/had a similar problem? HELP

    PS: Despite the boot problem, the mp3 player is still working like a charm.

    Tab S3 Blurry Photos

    Per title - I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

    I have a Galaxy Tab S3, and nearly every photo I take with the rear camera is blurry. It seems to happen right before the photo is taken-I'll have a clear image on the screen, and when I press the shutter the screen will blur the instant before the photo is taken. I've owned a couple of Tab S2's before this, and five different Galaxy phones since the S5, and none of them had this issue. Also, it doesn't happen on the front facing camera, just the rear cam.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi, i got samsung 10200mah power bank for my samsung A5 2017. I go to the countryside for work a lot and can't always find a way to charge my powerbank. I have samsung official car charger that support fast charging. Can i charge my power bank with this while on the drive?
